This is a general overview of how a concrete plant works. I just barely scratched the surface. There are so many more details that I could have included but I hope you get a good idea how ready mix gets done. Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!
bro this channel is gonna have 200k by the begining of the year man keep up the videos consistency is the key man even if u only do 2 videos a week keep up the good work i dont even do concrete or anything but i watch this every morning after a long 10hr shift on 3rd
That was really interesting. I have had concrete delivered and had no idea it was so technically involved before it got to me. Thank You. Can't wait until you start your tour. Be Safe.
19:19 Ryan kicking the driver out 😂. This was a great behind the scenes. I don't work in this industry but this channel has been a gateway to the world of concrete. Not only have I've been entertained but i've learned a few things over the last several of months. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I honestly love your channel Ryan. Been around since beginning of summer! This channel is great because it shows you that no matter where you work there's always the same kind of people. In the kitchen I've seen many a buggs, Eric, Mr Bobby, it's great to see! Enjoy the easy money tour!!!!
I’m going to show this to all my guys at work. I’m a concrete foreman in Seattle for Conco cement we built parking garages, high raises, etc… big fan of the show I’ve actually learned a lot about how to talk to my guys.
I don't know how I missed this video; because I watch them all. But this was a great informative video and I had no clue how this all worked. Thank you Ryan for all your videos and hard work.
I love that your taking us through world of concrete. I mentioned before I am a retired contractor from New Jersey and Im an avid fan of yours. Please keep the videos coming ! EASY VIDEOS !
my dad ran a badge plant back in the 80's. I went with him a few times and it wasn't any computers as in this video and no cameras. He had a giant mixing bin and a board with big buttons that would make the bin mix or command stone or cement to drop in it. he would spray water in as needed. this plant did a lot of precast concrete and made our Carrier Dome stadium with precast columns.
Our family loves your channel! So much so that when my homeschooled teenager took her algebra test this week she handed it back to me and said, “easy money”.
Here in Boston Massachusetts we use a very popular concrete company but every time I drove past the factory I always wondered how it worked inside. So this video gives me a good idea. Thank you
I just ran across your videos yesterday and you seem to be a great guy/boss to work for, I had my own contractor business in floor covering for many yrs and even though it was hard work. I miss just going to work at different places daily, between a bad truck accident and two heart attacks now I watch videos of you guys and others doing these jobs. Good luck to you and your family and God bless you all.🙏🙏🙏
I still remember when I was concreting engineer, those sleepless nights. I have to fight with these batching plant sometimes when their truck is delay especially when pouring vertical to avoid cold joints or when their mix did not pass the slump test. 😅
I like the way you always take care of people that serves you waitress or drivers even your employees you always tip great for you to care of others that's what makes your videos awesome to watch. I love it come on great expression word.
Six months ago, I didn't know Jack about concrete. Then the RUclips algorithm pointed me to Victory. Never thought I'd know what I know now. Thanks Ryan!
EXCELLENT video. Not in the construction business myself, I honestly enjoyed learning how concrete is made. Also, cudos to the warehouse crew for having such a neat and orderly warehouse. A lot of my career was d/c manager and I know how hard it is to get the crew to keep things organized. Really enjoyed this experience. God bless.
As a concrete truck driver in Chicago it's very cool to see other plants and company's. But also it's awesome to see how you guys turn this concrete into beautiful driveway or patio. We never get to see the finished product once we leave.
I'm a 76 yr o female in California. I have never been able to pass a concrete truck without turning my head all the way around (Linda Blaire style). I always say, until you work in an industry, you never know what goes on there. Thank you for this wonderful vide that satisfies years of curiosity.
Awesome Ryan. It's incredible to me that you create so many unique video ideas AND edit them yourself.. on top of your business!! Most people underestimate how remarkable that is
That was really freaking cool. A buncha years ago we were pouring light pole bases for hospital and I had the opportunity to bring the test cylinders to the state yard for breaking. I never really knew all of the logistics behind it. Great video sir!
Look forward to watching the videos in the morning. Ryan your knowledge of concert is very impressive. Great job on making the channel grow. They guys that work for you are very lucky to have a boss like you. You don’t care to get done get dirty with them.
As a retired contractor I throughly enjoyed this video and you didn't cover much of the specialty/technical stuff. But this was very complete for the every day person driving on concrete. Thanks for the video!
I’ve learned a lot watching the last few months, but I really enjoyed this video. I’ve always wanted to know how this works on this side of things. Editing is great here and talking with the employees and drivers always makes me smile. Keep up the good work.
Great information here. I use an Aero chocolate bar to describe the air in concrete. Most people have bit into an Aero bar and have seen the holes. I really love the grates where the trucks dump loads that go right to the conveyor.
Great video, Ryan!! I honestly didn’t think I cared about how concrete was made but watched the entire video. You are doing great stuff-please keep em coming!!
Never would I have ever thought I would like concrete so much! Lol. Just watching your channel alone, learn so much, and definitely has me looking at local concrete work and man oh man, lets just say, it definitely is NOT Victory Style!!
I wouldn't watch these kinds of videos ALL the way through. Normally I skip for stuff I want to see but the way you set it up and go through everything is very professional like a TV show. Keep it up!
Please do one of these videos on a quarry/crush plant 😅 Awesome video Ryan. Been a fan for a couple months and enjoy your content a lot. Reminds me of my younger days as a laborer then equipment operator then finisher/laborer/operator. I miss the concrete business a lot, but once I got a CDL I switched to driving.
I love this video! Thanks for this. I really enjoy pouring concrete. I’ve done it a few times with my dad and loved it. Sitting in an office these videos are great to relive some of the things we did
Thanks for sharing this information with us. This was a great video. It's amazing to see the whole process of what it takes to make concrete and getting it delivered to the job sites.
A friend once told me this and I never forget which is which. He said, Calling cement "concrete" is like calling flour "bread". Great video Ryan, thank you very much!
Really love what your doing here Ryan. You have a kind soul and good heart Sir. It really shows in your interactions with people. This is something special that you have cultivated here. Your videos are very entertaining, informative and enjoyable, thank you.
I just wanted to say I really love the channel! I have been watching since the beginning of your season and it really takes me back. Right out of high school I worked construction and installed garage doors on new construction and it was good work. I have moved to an office job now, and watching the videos really takes me back to those old jobs. Keep up the awesome videos and I can't wait to see the Easy Money Tour videos!
Order, mix, transport, pour, and finish. There I even did it quicker. Hehe, great job Ryan on showing an overview of the concrete factory. Have a great weekend!
You literally have me walking past guys in New York today pouring a concrete sidewalk goin easyyyyyy moneyyyyy keep these coming brotha you’ve already helped my life more then you know just by being you I can’t explain it 🔥🇺🇸 VICTORY STYLE
The belt also has a scale, which is calibrated every other week. the orders go via pneumatic tube to the truck driver. “ easy monye “ this is very interesting , but also nice that this company is so open and let them look in the kitchen . 👍. thanx Victorystyle
I love going to see my local guys at OK Concrete. They’ve been around as long as my family so it’s nice knowing my great grandfather was paying for his loads in the same office i do.
Oh great way to start a day. And don't forget there was one ingredient in concrete nobody talks about anymore that nobody uses. Fly Ash. All your videos are great Ryan enjoy your weekend.
I'm a contractor in virginia and I enjoy this channel. I have learned more from this channel on concrete then I could have imagined. This vid was great. I have always wondered how these plants work. Great job!
Excellent video Ryan! As many yards of concrete I've laid down I have never had a chance like you to experience the whole system. I'm retired now at 66 and I have to tell you, I loved concrete. My Brother in law would get tweaked out when the truck showed up and our Pumper guy Andy would always laugh at Rick for how nervous he got. Andy would say, "I wish He'd mellow out, I'm doing most of the work, lol. Keep the videos coming and again, thank you for everything! God Bless all ya'll.
Wow. I had no idea the plant was so elaborate. I grew up as a kid driving past our local plant here in CA all the time and always loved looking at the big piles of sand and gravel but had no idea even decades later that this is how it worked.
I love what you do,the pride you take in concrete shows threw in your videos and I wish more people loved what they do like you cause the world would be a better place.Keep up the good work.
I’m going to school for Construction Management and have learned a lot about concrete, it’s really cool to see the things I learned in class take place in the plant!
I just posted my first RUclips video. concrete demo with the skid steer! Still don’t have a go pro but my iPhone 11 worked! You gave me inspiration. Thanks
I know the channel is pretty big at the moment but this feels like the start of an EPIC beginning. When someone can start with their own personal story and it grows to include others who are established in their own right as collaborators that's when big things unfold. So glad to have been here for a while and witness firsthand the sparks that can become a raging fire of success for you Ryan.
Hi! I'm 69 yr old Grandma now from AZ, orig lived my whole life in IL. I definitely know difference you talk about in humid and dry hot weather. I loved this video, very informative. Been watching all your new & old videos. Thanks so much for sharing. My fav vid's are when you add music and it becomes the (dance of the concrete men). Your a very kind, informative boss. Beside your daughters have you ever had a female employee??? Just wondered!! Thanks again.
Love your passion for concrete and your business. This was my standard concrete order when I was in big construction. X amount of cubic Meters, 30mpa, 100 or 120 slump, 20 ml standard chip , trucks 20 minutes apart. I'm from New Zealand so we have the metric system. Imperial-Cmon. Im just a builder who ordered alot of concrete back in the day. Left big construction, and just running smaller stuff now. Love the channel. Its my zen after work watching your videos. You have great self control. really respect that. I understand the pressure of concrete. And I understand the turnover of staff in a tough trade.
I just read the Wikipedia history & description of concrete--it's been around for millenia, & it's the most commonly used substance on earth 🌎, besides water itself. The worldwide concrete industry is valued @ over $600 billion per year. Your video was excellent. The one thing I always begged my parents for as a kid growing up was for an in-ground, concrete pool in our backyard. My parents eventually gave in, but they had a hard-packed sand in-gound pool, with a vinyl liner installed, instead of concrete, because concrete was too expensive. The pool was dug & built by a top-shelf contractor, & we never had a problem with it, although you could put a dent in the bottom if you dove hard into with your fists extended (or, your head). We did have a very nice concrete patio built which surrounded the pool, which had a diving board & a sliding board. It was 8 feet deep in the diving area, & 3 feet deep @ the shallow end, & the pool was 20 feet wide by forty feet long, kind of in the overall shape of an elongated peanut 🥜. If it would've been built of solid concrete, it would've cost about 5 times as much. People think concrete is cheap, but it's definitely not!
Hey boss man just wanted to say I'm so glad I found your channel I recently became assistant manager and I have been watching you and taking notes on how you treat your crew because I want to be a good boss like you thank you you are helping me more than you know
That was a great video and very informative. I did know some of it but definitely not as much as I thought 😅. For instance the chemical for water expansion, mind blowing. Thanks for the video tour and God bless y'all.
That was an awesome video. My son in law is a manager for Granite Rock Company based out of Watsonville Calif. They have their own quarry in Aromas Ca. The place is amazing and you would love it. At one time the quarry had the world's largest rock crusher. Incredible crusher can crush a boulder the size of a Volkswagen bug like it was nothing. Conveyer belts separating and crushing aggregate down to specific sizes. The operation can give a driver there a load of aggregate with out anyone present. Just insert a card. Automated technology is crazy nowadays. With plants in beautiful Monterey Ca to the beautiful peninsula Red Wood City concrete and asphalt plant and recycle yard around the corner. Check out Granite Rock Company if you're ever in Calif. Good luck and have fun on your tour.👍
Also as a driver years ago we approached management about being honest with our customers. If you're going to be late tell the truth so contractor can better utilize his time with his crew and not be upset more than need be when driver arrives. One thing our customers love about our Ready Mix company was honesty.
Great video Ryan. Did concrete work for 20 years. Loved every minute of it. But here in NYC has become almost impossible to pour concrete. Between split loads, traffic and no bathrooms to use I decided was best to start working indoors. Would love for you to get into a topic on split loads and why they are devastating to concrete contractors. Love your channel and your videos. Reminds me of good old days. Keep the videos coming. NYC
Glad to see they do it the same in Wisconsin as they do in Berne Indiana! It’s a lot of moving parts and a lot of people trying to be on the same page every day, all day long
This is a general overview of how a concrete plant works. I just barely scratched the surface. There are so many more details that I could have included but I hope you get a good idea how ready mix gets done. Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!

Consistency and now shorter duration. The preference is for ad time to increase as a proportion of user view time.

Excellent overview of what happens in a concrete plant. Thanks for making. Excellent and entertaining videos always and great work! Best to your crew.
After watching your videos all summer and seeing what happened at the Waukesha parade today, I am praying for your family. God Bless.
I really enjoyed listening to the QC guy explaining about how concrete is made. Now it makes sense why you order concrete the way that you do.
That was really freaking cool.
A buncha years ago we were pouring light pole bases for hospital and I had the opportunity to bring the test cylinders to the state yard for breaking. I never really knew all of the logistics behind it.

Excellent video Ryan! As many yards of concrete I've laid down I have never had a chance like you to experience the whole system. I'm retired now at 66 and I have to tell you, I loved concrete. Great video Ryan thanks for showing us the inner sanctums of the industry.

Also as a driver years ago we approached management about being honest with our customers. If you're going to be late tell the truth so contractor can better utilize his time with his crew and not be upset more than need be when driver arrives. One thing our customers love about our Ready Mix company was honesty.
Amazing !!! Ppl look down on concrete, it can get very complex. Very nice tour nice friendly people
Awesome tour Ryan! Thank you for educating us on concrete and cement and how it all works together.
NYC
That's horrific - no bathrooms! Who missed that necessity? Just ridiculous.
Ryan if this is how every video of the easy money tour is going to look, you are going to make millions!
Glad to see they do it the same in Wisconsin as they do in Berne Indiana! It’s a lot of moving parts and a lot of people trying to be on the same page every day, all day long
That was an awesome video! It is crazy all the behind the scenes action.
