Eh forte di gambe finché vuoi ma una corsa come la Sanremo la vinci tante volte in tanti modi diversi perché hai anche una grande lettura della corsa, perchè significa che ogni volta che hai vinto tu non hai commesso errori.

Eddy le plus grand coureur cycliste fesait faire la gueule au peloton des qu il ce fesait la belle et c etait souvent en réfléchissant sur ça stratégie car il en avait dans la tête le grand eddy et après il s envolait on appelle ça le panache l envie vaincre coute que coute et il gagnait et de nouveau dans le peloton ça cherchais des explications . Eddy merckx n est toujours pas égalé et ne le sera jamai comme je l admire depuis que jsuis gosse ont fsaient des courses de velo j était eddy merckx il ma fait rêvé jai 61 ans et ce qui me rend heureux ces que le grand eddy merckx de sont vivant et en forme voi qu'il a toujours pas été égalé .
Eddy merckx le roi des rois .

The 1969 tour de France was 1000 km longer than the races we have these days, the stages were MUCH longer back then (the equivalent of maybe SIX extra stages if you think of it that way ) .......that is why the average speed was lower.

@@danieletognozzi7641 Apologies, when you said Pfff I thought you were comparing it to todays average speeds which are faster because all modern grand tours are 1000km shorter.
They were hard men back then.

@@mauriziotomas3451 Bartali non dimenticate che ha perso i migliori anni della carriera per la guerra. Anche Coppi li ha persi,ma non gli anni migliori.

@@stefanocrema1800 Ma che dici?Coppi quando è scoppiata la guerra a 21 già aveva vinto un giro d'Italia nel 1940 e poi rivinse nel 1947.. pensa te in quei anni quanto poteva vincere.

@@mauriziotomas3451 e chi afferma il contrario? Però Bartali in quel periodo era più maturo e andava più forte. Guarda,ho conosciuto Gino molto bene,correvo nella sua squadra. Lui stesso ammetteva che Fausto era un campione immenso e che a crono gli era nettamente superiore. Entrambi hanno perso anni salienti, solo che Gino era nella piena maturità. Nel 48 49 riuscì a vincere comunque tour e giro di svizzera Sanremo ecc. E d era già anziano.

He was thrown out for using an amphetamine style drug.

The sample was spiked , the control sample was fine , but it was too late, he had been thrown out of that Giro. He proved he was capable in the 69 Tour De France by destroying everybody winning by 17 minutes.
Somebody did not want Eddy Merckx to win that Giro.

Yeah , look at the pictures of the moon landing in 1969. No digital cameras back then, the cathode ray tube was all TV cameras had .
