Kelly's attack half way up the Poggio is incredible. He drove it all the way to the top and over until the last km when tactics came into play. Lemond was a serious talent too in the Classics. Great racing. Thanks for posting.

Lemond probably had this race in mind when he discussed his sprint to win the '89 worlds. Letting Kelly start the sprint meant 2nd place.

Thank you for the video, I've been waiting a long time to see this win by Sean Kelly, LeMond was very strong in 1986, he did very well in the classics and of course he won the Tour de France beating Hinault.

Brill win for Kelly .. But 1992 for my money ...when he beat Argentin... Think he thought he`d won but Kelly`s brilliant chase and descent catching Argentin in last few kilo`s and winning sprint...
