You can say that he's always had the machinery to be able to win races and that's why he's had so many championships.
But this man is so consistent, it must be so hard to maintain that level every race but he does and that's why he's 7 time world champion.

GOAT commentary
That 2013 win in Hungary shouldnt be underestimated. The f1 community at large did NOT think he made the right decision to leave McLaren for Mercedes. And the 2013 RBR was a dominant car in Vettel's hands, very formidable competition.
Haha, yeah, I remember talking to people at the time about his move to Mercedes, we all thought he was crazy! : )
It also put the pressure on Red Bull to keep developing the car in the second half of 2013. They were concerned about Mercedes or Lotus challenging them for the title. Meanwhile Mercedes focused on the 2014 car as they had achieved their objective of 3 wins that season. It's probably one of the most significant wins in terms of the narrative of F1 history.
@@alexraghunath You overestimate this victory. After this race Vettel had 38 points more than Kimi and 48 more that Lewis. Also Red Bull had 69 more points than Mercedes. And about 2014 season engine was the main reason of Mercedes dominance. In 2014 in Bahrain when Mercedes turn the full power of their engine there was almost 2 seconds faster than Red Bull in one lap. Red Bull only this year has a comparable engine to Mercedes.
You forget how fast the 2013 Mercedes was, at least over 1 lap. Great drive from Lewis for sure, but aside from Red Bull overdeveloping the car towards the end of the season, the Merc W04 was very close to or faster than the Red Bull for the first half of 2013. The Merc was clearly the faster car at that Hungarian GP. It was after the summer break that RBR came back with a vengeance.
Redbulls need regulations change to be competitive with mercs ....if it was go all out mercs will wipe the floor with Redbulls
But redbull fans are so delusional about the regulation change that affected the low rake cars ....I would say even McLaren will beat Redbulls if not for the regulation change
Most of his best wins shown here are from when he was with Mclaren and people still say he only wins because Mercedes has/had a faster car, when you ask them about his Mclaren days, they say he was lucky....luck or skill, let's learn to appreciate others people's efforts!!!
There won't be any other greater driver than him for a very very long time

If you have to wait about an hour to start a race in 07’ then there won’t even be a race today. Fuji 07’ demonstrated Hamilton as guaranteed champion of the future, which he should’ve won that year given his performance
@JOAKIM JEPPSSON I don't understand why a lot of F1 fans don't get this. These cars today are so specialized that they simply don't perform in conditions far too wet. Tyres are simply cold and hard as stone and the engines are not getting in the operating temp as well, and it just gets into a cycle of everything is getting colder but you can't go faster to warm them up.
To cope with the speed the tyres now have to clear a lot of water which means a lot more spray compared to the old wet tyres, which means the following car doesn't see anything literally. Simple science. You can't really blame them for building cars like this because F1 is pinnacle of motorsports and it's all about going the fastest, it's what makes F1 special.

For that, any other driver would be penalized. Kimi did lesser offense than that, once on box entrance, once just touching the line, and both times he was seriously penalized.
But not LH. He's the only driver I know who got helped by a tractor out of the gravel, after he got stuck. It's prohibited by the rules, but not if you're LH. Or defending through the chicane with 4 wheels off the track. Only him. Almost entire his career he was protected from penalties. Only recently he got a few, because of the outcry of the audience for justice. But that can't fix 15 years of protection.

@@UnknOwnParad0x do you not think thats just down to him being such a consistent driver? Wish people like you would just give credit where its due rather than bringing up little boy excuses. Every champion has had the fastest car at some point so to single out lewis is an absolute farce and you know it. The guy is the best the sport has ever seen and I think some people need to stop living in the past.
wow Lewis deserves it a lot , master gave charisma , leadership and strategy he has matured a lot and learned a lot on the track , i hope he continues to fight for the title not only this season but in the next ones
May you never lose your fire and racing spirit,❤️❤️❤️
Think he could've done with a bit more charisma ngl
The living legend, the GOAT, remember his name, Lewis Hamilton!!!!
We’re witnessing the GOAT. People didn’t like Schumacher back in the days. Jealousy is a bad thing but one day he will me praised by everyone. What a legend!
GOAT is Senna.
@ranger ratio + cry

DugBingo951
Nope. You can't compare him with Fangio. There is no GOAT in F1. Just you can say Lewis is probably the best in his era.
@@Chuyew The drivers from this era would absolutely demolish Fangio. He was no where near the level of these guys. Lewis is the goat and Max is the goat in the making
Like him or hate him, gotta respect him for the achievement. Congratulations Lewis!
The amount of wet race in this video showing Lewis is truely a rainmaster
Bah....He's just incredible. Period. The next generation of young talents should really learn from him.
Victorys in only 7 years To the debut in F1
Senna 🇧🇷 33 victorys 1984 - 1991
Schumacher 🇩🇪 33 victorys 1991 - 1998
Hamilton 🇬🇧 33 victorys 2007 - 2014
Verstappen 🇳🇱 21 victorys 2015 - 2022
Senna schumacher and lewis ARE GOAT🐐🐐🐐
coincidence? I think not.
The Djokovic of F1 ! Highly disliked by many fans but despite that achieving records. A legend !
What an absolute legend and inspiration.
What a masterclass in driving. Sir Lewis is truly the greatest.
to the people who say Michael was better: They both came from a similar background of working class families who were the underdogs between all the rich kid racers, they both achieved incredible records. They both will be always be the best of the best.
The only thing i can think of where Michael is better than Lewis is Team Building. He won with Benetton. He rejected a comfy McLaren seat to help build Ferrari into a powerhouse. He set the foundation for the most dominant Team in any f1 era. Lewis got most things handed to him, but that doesn't diminish his accomplishments. Because at the end of the day, you, as the driver, still have to finish and win the race. Lewis has superb consistency and knows how to minimise risk and incidents. Yes yes you can laugh at him being addicted to red bull rear tires all you want, but Michael did plenty of unacceptable things on track, even being disqualified from a championship for his antics.
I'm not even a Lulu Fan, I like Michael, but please can't we just accept that both of them are the Greatest in their own way? everyone can have their preferred champ, but that shouldn't come at the expense of other great driver's reputations
The Schumacher-Brawn-Byrne combination was SCARY.
Agreed, Lewis was and has been super consistent even with the dominant Mercedes, hence he's gotten to where he currently is. But since we're all just looking at race wins and/or no. of championships, I really wonder if Lewis would have won as many races/championships if he had moved to another team, stuck with Mclaren or if Mercedes hadn't been so dominant.
It'll be a dream to see all of those we think are great, to race in the same machine over a few races. At least for those who are still fit to race like Seb, Alonso, Kimi, Lewis, Nico etc. But I fear some of them might not be open to such a format as they have "more to lose".
"I'm not even a Lulu Fan, I like Michael, but please can't we just accept that both of them are the Greatest in their own way?" No. Lewis is the greatest.
@@ZenJuddhism besides the fact that this contributed nothing to the point i was trying to make, Lewis can't be the single greatest. Stats wise ig he has more records than everyone else, but as of rn he is tied with "most WDC's" so even objectively by that standard, they're tied for being the greatest
@@chickenindabox3169 Your point was incorrect, so I was correcting you. Even if two drivers or football teams finish on the same no. of points, there are other metrics that will put someone top. Lewis is on top in terms of wins and poles so is the greatest F1 driver of all time statistically and not level with anyone.
Can’t help but admire what this man is doing. He truly is rewriting the record books about what is possible for an F1 driver.
I’ve come back here after watching the 2021 championship
I just can’t-
Yeah…
Silverstone last year on 3 wheels? 😔😤 he did an amazing job 🙌
When he won last year with 3 WHEELS because one tire blew out and managed to do a lap on just 3 wheels I couldn’t believe it and the rain really puts your skills to the test and hes a legend at it GOAT
Lewis Hamilton is a living legend! Congratulations from the Netherlands to Lewis for this magical 100th race victory. It is truly an amazing achievement.
You may not cheer for him but you must admit, the man is a legend... Congrats, Lewis!
Epic Lewis Hamilton is an legend in F1 so far 7 titles & 100 race wins in 14 years, that's tremendou,s awesome & Legendary 🤩👍
He’s an absolutely fantastic driver. A magician behind the wheel. Sure, he has had the fastest car from 2014-2021, just like how Max has it now. But to be in a top team, you have to be a top talent.
Lewis didn’t have the fastest car in any of the seasons prior to 2014 and he still pulled off moments of magic.
Wow. Top 10 win compilation while most F1 drivers didn’t even win 10 Grand Prix in total.
History in the making feel so grateful to watch him race on Sunday!
My grandmother died just after the British Grand Prix, so she wasn't around to see Lewis make his century. So that's what made Sochi 2021 just that bit more emotional.
Congrats on 100 wins. Incredible
And now he has Brazil 2021, low-key his new greatest win of all time
100 wins is just a crazy achievement. Wonder how long it will take for it to be equalled
I think when he retires, he will have around 120 victories
@@matej9497 120 are a lot
Lewis rewriting history books is something this world might never see again.
I hope people would realize how lucky we're - like him or not - when we can witness this happening live. There's only a handfull of athletes on this planet who fall in a same category with him...
@@sbow2892 we will see in 5 10 years how people mind will change
@@sbow2892 People said the same about Schumacher. If Verstappen will have a dominant car he will beat this records looking on his age and that we will have more races in one season.
Outside of racing, he's also doing a lot to help black communities get recognition. GOAT 🐐 status locked in, for sure
What an amazing guy
Twaddle.
@Maxim N I guess you moaned about seb wearing just a rainbow t shirt and how that doesn't help the lgbt community. What's wrong if they want to kneel or whatever. Nothing personal to you is it?
He's only get recognition for black drivers. He's actually said once he's the only diverse driver on the grid. Which is not true..
He also goes on about the environment etc. Yet after Silverstone he jumped on a helicopter and off to the airport. While vettel stayed behind cleaning up things.
After the Belgium gp he. Juumped on a plane to go to America for s fashion show. Very environmental friendly
Hamilton is the biggest hypocrite in the business. Do as I say not as I do kind of guy
This is the reason Lewis has so many fans but so many haters!!!!!! Still we rise!!!!!!
Brazil 2016 is such an underrated Lewis win. Everyone talks about Max during that race but Lewis was flawless
This vid was expected tbh, we're witnessing a legend
There is no argument, Lewis is the best to do it in F1. His numbers are insane, he’s beaten all his teammates who are all world champions (except Bottas) He continues to improve after all these years and love or hate him it’s highly unlikely you’d bet your own money against him. Not the biggest fan but this man has over delivered on so many occasions we’re watch history unfold in front of our eyes.
Yes I knew there was going to be a video for top 10 hamilton wins, after the gp
(Lewis Hamilton stats)
7 world titles so far. (Joint best with Schumacher)
100 GP wins so far. (Best in history)
101 pole positions so far. (Best in history)
57 fastest laps so far. (Second best in history)
5232 laps led so far. (Best in history)
176 podiums so far. (Best in history)
9 consecutive podiums in debut season. (An all time record so far)
4 wins in debut season. (Joint best record)
109 points in debut season. (An all time record so far. This was done when less points where given.)
Has won a GP at most tracks so far.
If he was to retire now, he'd be the only F1 driver in history to have won a GP in every season they have competed in.
(If I have missed any or gotten some of these wrong then let me know.)
The moment you realise that this list is only a tenth of all his wins
Sir Lewis is the greatest driver of his generation and that is a Fact. 100 wins and counting that i cannot beat Sir Lewis records not in my life time and I never thought Michael Schumacher records would ever be broken but what Sir Lewis has achieved is totally remarkable and as I have just said he is the greatest driver of his generation
