Had my first time with this beast-- and the rest of the park-- on July 20th & 21st with one ride on KDK each day. First ride featured a 20 minute bonus wait in the station only 2 trains from getting my turn, and day two saw us spending 10-15 minutes on the brake run, only to find out we were the last ride of the day! I cannot stop thinking about this ride, it is a ride I can truly look past the downtime for, even when it affects me all too directly, haha. Great vid, always nice to relive those experiences, especially these kind of blink-and-it's-over ones complete with all the build-up.
RAZ Thanks alot! for the compliment! and as for your experience, im sure it was amazing! but i very rarely ever scream on rollercoasters except KK. because of how intense it is and the amazing rush it gives me! And if you get on the right train and the conditions are right you can get the best Kingda Ka experience any coaster fan would gladly trade their left testicle to experience... The song at the very beginning is called "Saved the World' (xKore remix) and the song where we launch is called "Lights' (dubstep remix). And I will ride TTD and make a vid if I get to go to Cedar Point at all anytime soon. I have a pretty demanding job so it's hard to go on cool trips not to mention make videos. Haha thanks for watching though!
mike C I would say the slingshot is more scary. You go through the drop and over the top so quick you don't even really notice. You don't have enough time to freak out about how high you are
Top Thrill 2 is the New king of coasters as far American and Europe is concerned this coaster Kingda Ka is a Great one too having ridden only this strata Coaster and not Top thrill Dragster this coaster gets at it’s peak speed and height even faster than both top thrill dragster and The brand New Top Thrill 2 and that’s what i like about Kingda Ka
Dirf Dirf yeah TTD is so much better! Better theming, smoother ride, comfortable restraints... etc etc. it's miles better than Ka! Ka is so rough now I can barely ride it
I wonder how many people mistake the six flags great america and great adventures abreviation and accidently go to great america and be pissed over going to wrong park.
I believe they put the cars they are not using on those tracks, the track before the actual launch section moves to the side so the car can move into the track that you see on the left. :)

I believe they put the cars they are not using on those tracks, the track before the actual launch section moves to the side so the car can move into the track that you see on the left. :)
