Not many of us can afford a new aircraft. You are bringing aircraft back to life, that an average pilot can afford, and safety fly. Keep it up, we enjoy!

When the attack began, this poor guy, in his early 20's, didn't know what to do! (None of the Trainers had radios back then!) So he just tried to put the plane down anywhere. Jimmy excellent choice in colors on the wrap, looks 200% better. And yes you can wrap an airplane legally, we have in the past wrapped an entire helicopter, only draw back is at the annual you have to pull it all off for the inspection, but it works out as the boss wants a different color anyway. Saving the 310 is going to make a lot of people happy including me as I have a fondness of the old straight tail 310's. So you say your going down the path of a jet in the future, just remember with a turbine powered airplane the cheapest part of owning it is buying it! Maintaining it is a whole new level of costs, just do me one big, big favor; DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy a Hawker, they are a night mare to work on, trust me I know. You should maybe look at warbird, would kind of cool to see you bring back one of those to the skies.
Thanks for mentioning the "Navy Seals Foundation ".Been supporting them since a Seal friend was injured with a traumatic brain injury. The Foundation has been taking care of him and his family since 2004.Great organization
Jimmy I really love what you are doing with all of these old airplanes that you are finding and the fact that you are taking your son with you is really fantastic he is Learning a lot while watching you work on your airplanes as well as helping you and a lot of father-son bonding as well that doesn’t happen very often too bad more fathers out there don’t take time for their children and take them along with them and show them what they can do while they’re working and help them and teach them along the way like you are that is something that he will pass on long the way to his children when he gets married as well so nice to watch that in your videos keep up the good work love watching your videos love them all it’s just too bad that one V tail bonanza had to be destroyed by taking it apart the way you did though but I understand why to rotted that I understand but keep up the good work keep the videos coming and save the 310 that is a good air plane Who knows maybe you’ll make some money on it.
OMG, N59KS! 20 years working at KTPA and that guy was always a "Difficult Customer" that no one wanted to deal with, but I never had a problem with him. Im a sucker for the MU-2.
Jimmy... You're insane! OK, now that we've resolved the unimportant stuff, welcome aboard. I LOVE your channel. For the (your) records, put me in the Army/Vietnam veteran column. Dak To, 1968-69... "Never neverland," because you never NEVER wanted to go there! Glad the 310 will fly again. About 1,500 hours in 310-320-401-402 series. Keep up the good work, buddy. We need to save all these old planes... when they're gone, they're gone forever.....
Buying a Save the 310 sticker now because I was so adamant about it from the get go! haha 310's For EVERYBODY!! Thank you for your service and fun content. All the best.
As a veteran I came across your channel and was impressed on how much you know. I hope you have sponsors because this project can break you quick. You must have a very understanding family to pursue this career. Good luck. Stay safe. CLEAR PROP.
Glad the 310 can be restored to airworthy condition. From the first video my concern was corrosion in the center section. Never imagined the expense involved in replacing the props. It has been a long time since I had a new Hartzell prop and governor installed in a Bonanza for approximately $2,000. Having flown a '56 model 310 back in the day when both the airplane and I were much younger, still remember what a nice handing airplane it was. Had flown 3 or 4 later model 310's prior to the '56, all were good, but the original was fun to fly.
As a big gust of wind took my drone up into the tallest pine tree top this evening I decided to come back inside and watch aviation videos. It is about 310 yards away from my front porch and it is night now. I still go out there every once and a while to check up on it and it is still blinking green and white in the distance. My heart condition will deny me a pilots license but it is still OK to dream and watch others. Others will say "maybe you should stay on the ground" Probably right! God Bless All!
Great video, lovely aeroplane, great insights. 👍😊 My family and I have long supported various military charities - we're a military family basically, or were. What's struck us during the pandemic are two things:- 1) Two main UK charities are sat on huge amounts of cash, whilst some veterans are living rough (nothing being done about such by said charities). 2) Even with the good charities and the fact that our boys and girls sign up for service/military action, it's our govts that send them to war, govts that we all, one way or another, fund, said govts then do the bare minimum to help or rehabilitate veterans, and only then after lots of lobbying. What a criminal act therefore for govts to send people to war and not then pick up the pieces afterwards. The pandemic has made me rethink how things are done and how they should change. A great 'reset' IS needed but not the one driven by govts and tptb, but by the people, for the people, of the govt! Not by and for tptb (govt et al)! We are many they are few and they abuse privilege and power.
I just found this channel and at first I was not sure how to handle Jimmy. After watching a few videos he grew on me (like a rotten fungi)! Not really, he is actually very smart, extremely courageous flying a plane just out of a MAJOR maintenance. Keep up the great work!!!

Just stumbled across your channel. Thank you for your service. Congratulations on selling the business and having the mid-life crisis. I too highly recommend it. Nice to hear you support and have among your group of helpers lots of Veterans. Not to mention you yourself are a Reservest. You mentioned several branches. Now you just need a member of our countries oldest continuous branch, the U.S. Coast Guard. In my day the rate was Aviation Machinist Mate. Or an Aviation Structural Mechanic. Both rates were combined into one sometime ago. I myself was a Flight Mechanic on both the Grumman HU16e Albatross seaplane and the Sikorsky HH52a Seaguard helo. My first helo hoist rescue mission was on Holloween night 1979 and this last February I found out it made the front page of the New York Times. Woohoo.
Hi from the Uk. As a vet I find non vets a pretty sad bunch - they have no imagination, spontaneity, and cannot understand that it can be fun for yourself and others (RUclipsrs) to spend sixpence on something worth tuppence ( it’s a old Uk thing) just for the pleasure of seeing the end product. My family motto is “nil iligitimi carborundum “ - (don’t let the ba**ards grind you down). I bequeath it to you inpertuity.
Jimmy. I heard what you said the viewers ask you, they are jealous because they cant do it ! You drive on brother,, get that 310 in the air ,I'm a viewer for life ! God bless ya ! We need more avation enthusiasts like you !

Hello Jimmy, your YT chanel is my favorite ! what a pleasure to see those old airplanes back in the air, that give me idea for a project ! RESPECT for your work !
Hello Jimmy, you just has fans oversees! I'm from The Netherlands and found your channel a week ago and i like it. Way better content than on Television! Greetings from The Netherlands!
My father was a rancher/beef/horse trader, and kind of a car nut (street rods, corvettes). Later he bought an old Cessna 180 (?) for 8G. He never had a license and kept it under a lean-to of the barn. I always found it odd that he was afraid of heights but had no problem going up. I kind of lost touch with him his last few years, but I had heard from mutual friends that he’d traded it for a small herd of Mexican Corriente steers down in Agua Prieta MX. Knowing his penchant for unsavory characters, I’m sure that plane became drug running vehicle.
Hey Jimmy. I am a veteran. I field of specialty while with the Air Force is Avionics. Also a certified Aviation Publications Technology. I have performed troubleshooting, testing, repair, overhauling and calibration of AIRCRAFT Avionics instruments and indicating systems. My aircraft resume consist of the EC-121, F-100, F-4C, D & E models, T-38, F-5, F-111, F-15 and the F-16A, B, C & D models. The F-16 has one unique feature which no other aircraft has and that is a G-Limit override.
RUclips, with its ability to get people together to crowdfund things, is absolutely the kind of place for fun projects like the 310 that in a 'normal' situation would be a terrible business decision.
Just subbed, love the crazy-like attitude to save these beautiful airplanes!!! Awesome job on the blue and silver colors on the Beechcraft!!! Looks super fresh!
Jimmy ! Wat up ? Really enjoy your blog. Flying has been my go to place when the ptsd and or depression hits. I used to fly with friends as a young adult but have never been able to afford one on my own. That being said, I live thru others who can. Great job, keep it up !
Jimmy, love these videos! I’m flying down from DC to get the same treatment on my airplane. Can’t wait to get her freshened up. I would have never heard about Wrapper Jimmy if not for your videos. Thank you!
It's quite obvious that this fella is financially stable, probably well off, judging by his car(s) and the fact that he can purchase multiple planes and the mechanical costs that come with it. He is self made. Congrats to him for that and KUDOS!!!
Nice work on the Sierra, looking real good Jimmy! BTW - happy to see Zach de la Rocha from rage against the machine wearing one of your Save the 310 Tshirts. Man, everyone is helping you out!
I was just about to ask the question about the jet… yet you said it at the end of the Video, amazing work, best YT channel I’ve ever encountered. Hungry for more !
Oh man you are awesome! I just hit 46, told my wife the other day I want to fly....she gave me this look...thinking of buying a plane to train in, maybe cherokee 180? Really want that sweet 6 seater you have, that would be perfect
Great videos, I love seeing them revived! I took my private rotorcraft check ride in a 1952 Bell 47 D1, a pretty historical helicopter. It would be cool to save some choppers too! Please, please, please?!?!
I am gonna ask the wife and son to pick me up some 310 items for Christmas. I don't usually get gifts but maybe this year they'll take pity on me or just want to support you and make me feel loved too! I am a coffee cups and beer mugs kinda shoppers but if none available I'll pick something else.
I've watched a few of your videos now and I really enjoy it I enjoy the your humor and your upbeat take on everything I especially watch the flight from I forget where you're picking up the airplane Arizona I think to flying to your home base in Florida through some storms I am a former Private pilot took instrument training and commercial training but I never got those certs and did a little bit of aerobatic flying in at pitts that I owned I'm 76 now so too old to fly but wanted to know how you were getting through frontal system so I followed your flight all the way through. My question is where did you get your 8,000 hours what did you do and how do you fund your projects
Well now I figured out how you pay for everything, it's with other people's money. Awesome!! I'm so glad you took on the 310 because that's one of my favorite playing as my flight instructor used to fly me to Oshkosh and it's 3:10 r. Great memories
I’d love to own an airplane sometime in my life. Working on my PPL right now. I am living my aeronautical fantasy through your channel. You’re a legend and one of my heroes Jimmy. If you’re over over TKTI I’d love to meet you. -Jacko
As a future A&P. We're told at least when it comes to planes, cleaning them before diagnosing a problem isn't great to begin with because you may not be able to see where something was leaking from if it's was cleaned.
1st of all I’m not or haven’t been that interested in planes, until I picked up on your channel Jimmy, but I am subscribed and really enjoying this channel totally can’t get enough, thanks 🙏 jimmy’s world good stuff, cheers happy new year 🥳 regards Pete & Nuch Albany Western Australia
Love the videos and have always been a fan of aircraft. Being retired Army I enjoy the jokes too! Lol. All jokes aside, I’m big into motors and anything that makes power. Watching your videos has shown me a whole new side of aviation. Getting to see the small parts and little bits and pieces that can make or break a plane or any vehicle for that matter, its nice seeing these older planes coming back to life. Keep up the great work! One last question. I know everyone has a different opinion on what someone should start with, do you have any opinions pertaining to what type of aircraft such as a Cessna 152 or 172 as well as the condition? I know I see a lot of the planes that are out there and for sale with prices that vary depending on what you’re getting, just like a car. Being mechanically inclined, working on something is not an issue however some thing with four wheels and some thing with a propeller I imagine has it’s differences.
Thanks for the comment and question. It all depends… hahaha love that answer. Depends on a bunch of things. Your mission, goals, wallet, time, etc… figure out those and then find the airplane that fits. Go for it! Clear prop!
I have a question for you. I have been looking at a Mooney for the last 20 years of so and It saddens me greatly to see it just rot in the sun. Any suggestions on how to locate the owner. He live in our town but hasn't been seen for about 20 years or so. It was parked due to the famous leaking fuel tanks. I have contacted the FAA and they were help but not much. The tail number is now out of service but could be reactivated. I have made a list of what will need to be done to make it fly again, and it is a long list. Best guess to get it airworthy is about $40K. Any direction would be great. Would like to fix it and trade it up for a PA32. And yes, I too am an idiot...lol Love your channel. The 310 is an awesome project.
Love the videos Jimmy, I too wondered where you got the money to squander on these projects. Projects well worth it I must say. As a long time small airplane passenger and future pilot, I'm learning a lot about aircraft ownership and hope to be there myself some day, who knows. Maybe in a Jimmy rescue plane!
I’m new here ima gear head and completely hooked awesome channel man and absolutely love the great attitude and clean fun! Wish you many blessings and to always have fun with it!
vinyl wrap can with stand speeds of F/A 18 I used on aircraft while deployed to put Snoopy on front Nose landing gear door. and several other through out my days in service...
I cleaned and then waxed a frends Aztec years ago. It took me 5 days in the afternoon to do that. Too much work to do. Made it look better, but didn't go faster or worth more. By the way, I just separated being a licensed pilot 45 years, back on 21 September.
Jimmy.. As an old car and machine lover in general. I think what you are doing is great.. There is nothing like the satisfying feeling one gets Fixing up machines to work again as intended.. Keep up the Great Work.. P.S. I am still waiting for you to find and restore a P40 original Flying Tiger :)

dearly so I can see why you are so hooked to flying until you have done it there is just nothing to match it well maybe one nudge nudge say no more so all the best jimmy from john from Rugby Warwickshire UK.
Jimmy: Piper Saratoga II HP - PA-32R-301 How about 200 mph ish single engine and great for family times!
I LOVE your videos ... 43 years flying, 39 in a major airline.... retired for 3+ years and love your videos... you make me laugh and want to buy one!!
Great 👍 plane.
Jimmy...the 310 is my absolute favorite twin engine aircraft! Had a 59 C that was an absolute dream.
Every video just keeps getting more exciting and it's no surprise how fast your channel is growing, Keep it up Jimmy!!!!!
Just hearing you have friends in the military and you as well increased the amount of respect for you and didn't think that was possible
My family and I have long supported various military charities - we're a military family basically, or were. What's struck us during the pandemic are two things:-
1) Two main UK charities are sat on huge amounts of cash, whilst some veterans are living rough (nothing being done about such by said charities).
She looks SO SO nice with the new skin on her.. GREAT JOB!! Thank you so much for starting this channel Jimmy you're the best!!
I just found this channel and at first I was not sure how to handle Jimmy. After watching a few videos he grew on me (like a rotten fungi)! Not really, he is actually very smart, extremely courageous flying a plane just out of a MAJOR maintenance. Keep up the great work!!!
YOU ALWAYS HAVE A WAY OF PUTTING FUN IN THE THINGS YOU DO ,YOU WOULD MAKE A GREAT BOSS ,YOU GET THE JOB DONE AND IT IS DONE WRIGHT , BUT MAKE IT ITERESTING FOR EVERYONE .IM GLAD YOU GET TO ENJOY THE THINGS YOU LIKE TO DO .NOT EVERYONE GETS TO DO THAT .GOD BE WITH YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE.
Jimmy, great content and you have a gift taking complexities of aviation and making them understandable in a fun manner... getting these older classics repaired, safe and back flying is an awesome feat ...thank you.. a former taylorcraft flyer...
Jimmy, I love your channel and watch every couple days. I am not a pilot but thoroughly enjoy every episode, it is much better than anything on network TV. Keep up the great work!
Why do people thumbs down Jimmy? This stuff is great to watch.
For those that feel you should wash your planes before evaluating them. I quote David Frieburger from Roadkill. "Don't make it right, just make it run." Keep having fun with this Jimmy, I love your content.
Just stumbled across your channel. Thank you for your service. Congratulations on selling the business and having the mid-life crisis. I too highly recommend it. Divorced one wife and married another who’s 13 years younger than me. Lol. No business for me to sell. Just A320’s to fly 186 PI$$ed off passengers in. I miss GA. Maybe someday soon I’ll buy something. You earned my sub. Great video.
Said it before; I'll say it again! You're crazy, but you're MY kind of crazy!!! Just ordered a few shirts, can't wait for them to get here! Love you, man.
Jimmy: "I made a little bit of money . . . "
Jimmy's bank: "He made a lot of money."
See my above comment about that.
@@MikeBrown-ex9nh Your comment isn't above only on your computer.
@@MikeBrown-ex9nh nor is your comment below. Just flipped through the 199 comments and nothing.
@@jwyzdm I actually deleted it because of inappropriate language. It had to do with my hatred of people who can afford airplanes. I have a very personal reason for my feelings, but expressed myself in a bad way.

Hey Jimmy u rock mate,I'm loving your channel.Watching u and your son getting together tryn to get old planes going.
The things u say and do make me smile even the What Could Possibly Go Wrong saying!!
That was mine but I'll keep letting u say it.
What ever u do don't give up finding old planes that have been sitting for years and spark em up bud!!
Heyy Jimmy you are so inspirational .. You are a hero and my idle!!! I love what you do.. I do the same things just not with planes.. Anything i work on usually stays grounded or a float on the lake...
A fast morph into one of my favorite channels...love your stuff...Now if you would only do some older, taildraggers or maybe get into some fabric-covered aircraft like the Viking I would be a happy camper.
We also have in Germany one RUclipsr dealing with old Plans, he was making very big progress to fly from Germany to US in a " Antonov " Russian Plane maybe 🤔 Jimmy you have seen this Pilot ........ ?
I love also the 310 the sound from the two Probs is amazing on taking off........ !
But I still in 🚁 helicopters, I did Skydiving a lot from Plans long time ago, helicopters my faver............
Thank you all for your service. KAPF/NAVY Vet.
One of the best channels for aviation nuts - Jimmy you are a star
Hello Jimmy, your YT chanel is my favorite ! what a pleasure to see those old airplanes back in the air, that give me idea for a project ! RESPECT for your work !
Hello Jimmy, you just has fans oversees! I'm from The Netherlands and found your channel a week ago and i like it. Way better content than on Television! Greetings from The Netherlands!
Welcome aboard!
I would like to see a old ww2 war bird restoration
Looking great. Liking the new colors. Also like the colors on N9153J that I keep seeing pop up in the background.
Jimmy, love these videos! I’m flying down from DC to get the same treatment on my airplane. Can’t wait to get her freshened up. I would have never heard about Wrapper Jimmy if not for your videos. Thank you!
Jimmy, I’d love to get my 1961 Beech Baron wrapped like this. Can you please share Jimmy squared contact info?
That MU-2B in the background there. 😊
My dad used to fly the MU2 as a corporate pilot before he retired. He was a pilot for 50 years.
It's quite obvious that this fella is financially stable, probably well off, judging by his car(s) and the fact that he can purchase multiple planes and the mechanical costs that come with it. He is self made. Congrats to him for that and KUDOS!!!
Great work Jimmy ... thanks. You really make my week. I eagerly await your next instalment. Cheers from New Zealand.
Nice work on the Sierra, looking real good Jimmy!
BTW - happy to see Zach de la Rocha from rage against the machine wearing one of your Save the 310 Tshirts. Man, everyone is helping you out!
I was just about to ask the question about the jet… yet you said it at the end of the
Video, amazing work, best YT channel I’ve ever encountered. Hungry for more !
Every time I watch Jimmy's videos, I remember Mad Murdock... Enjoy watching these videos...
Glad you made perfectly clear what "the plan" is ....lol. Great video Reverend.
Oh man you are awesome! I just hit 46, told my wife the other day I want to fly....she gave me this look...thinking of buying a plane to train in, maybe cherokee 180? Really want that sweet 6 seater you have, that would be perfect
As someone looking forward to getting a private pilot license, I enjoy watching your videos! #savethe310
I have never flown in my 54 years of life but I really enjoy Jimmy's videos , I'm a mechanic by trade very interesting material to watch...
Paint with the wrap really pops! Do you do a new weight and balance with the wrap on?
Thank each an every one of you for serving! From my family to urs thank you !
I definitely want to meet you someday Sir, this is my new fav channel. I live in FL too and I'm also in the NG!

As a future A&P. We're told at least when it comes to planes, cleaning them before diagnosing a problem isn't great to begin with because you may not be able to see where something was leaking from if it's was cleaned.
@@KT111 as a plane owner I love my APs and IAs as there aren’t enough entering the skill. Kudos to you and all the others
Awesome, thank you!
I would contact the airport, they usually have owner info. The FAA record will have a mailing address, could try that. Good luck!!
Jimmy, have you ever thought of flying the 310 to Yuma? Badda boom! Yes, I am a Dad!
Been waiting for this video.
N20754 fresh blue highlite was so refreshing...like picin a day old scab...awesome!
Speaking about getting vets to help!
My brother started a non-profit called vets with wings. He takes vets flying around
I just love airplanes and by extension love your enthusiasm and can't wait to see what you come up with next. Keep making Aviation fun
vinyl wrap can with stand speeds of F/A 18 I used on aircraft while deployed to put Snoopy on front Nose landing gear door. and several other through out my days in service...
Yes this is awesome!!! Great looking Beechcraft there. Love the blue and silver.
Is it possible that a three blades, will work on the 310 engine?.
Yes, they had an STC. Do you know of any? Email me. Jiminize1@yahoo.com
There’s an abandon Areo commander in Kingman Az at the local airport if you even wanted a lead for one looks savable!
