For those wondering what happened next they built the gun by modifying the Altor, tried it a few times, built it into a glove, and punch some watermelons and milk jugs with it.

Don't say r/woosh but as someone from Florida it is illegal to kill gators until gator season which is only a few days. And you can only kill them to eat them.
Careful with that QuikClot. If it's the powder and it gets in your eyes, you'll weld them shut. When you use the gauze, they basically instantly clot your blood together. If you use it when you really don't need to, the doctor will not only be pissed, but it's going to hurt when they essentially rip a huge scab off your already damaged skin. Only use it when you think you will die without it.

Here in finland we had guns inside the gloves, and instead of a crappy small pistol it was just a normal one.
Alot of soldiers were taught "kintaanläpianpuminen" wich litelarry means shooting through the glove. It was in case that you were captured by soviets that you could kill a few and capture the rest. And that idea was actually used.

something I notice about the inglorious bastards scene is the pistol seems to be mounted further forward on the glove, has a larger brace plate IN the glove so it moves less/protects the hand more and has a larger plunger/trigger so there's more room for error. doesn't mean it'd work any better but the difference in the design is interesting to note an I wonder if it'd change the outcome

The fact that phonetically it's literally called the "Hate gun" is really fitting because you really have to mean it to kill someone with this thing.
You want them to know you punched them. But then you also want to kill them immediately afterwards.

ironically enough, I believe this gun breaks federal gun laws. It seems to easily fit the title 2 firearm category of "any other weapon" (dumb name i know, blame the senate in 1934) because it could be called a "disguised weapon", as in, its not in the shape of a traditional gun when it can be fired, just like a cane gun or brief case gun.
