Love the flamethrower! I made one for michael reeves a couple months ago that was shaped like a youtube buddy, which I only mention because I used “wax lighting tapers” for my pilot light!
They’re super skinny, making them less noticable than a big candle - and they’re also really long so they last a while. Plus you can get a shiite tonne for like 8 bucks on amazon.
Just figured I’d give you the tip-off in case you do another project like this one :)

Gotta love this ingenious creation! Reminds me of when my brother dropped his Charmander plush on the night light when we were younger causing it to get burned and then needing to be sewed by our grandmother because he couldn't part from it's adorably deformed face.
The first time I saw both of you guys together was on tv on that MythBusters show and I got more excited than I like to admit, it was a pretty neat crossover in my eyes. And now you guys are eating lunch and battling your pets to death together, oh how small is this world.

A Darlington transistor (which probably shouldn't be called that since the word "Darlington" only applies to a way of connecting two bipolar transistors) in particular is controlled with current (because bipolar transistors individually are controlled with current), but other transistors, like the MOSFET(The "T" in "MOSFET" stands for "transistor") aren't.
You (as in the video creator, not as in the comment-reader) probably know this and just left the word "Darlington", but viewers probably don't.
