- Who would ever think this pristine 7k original mile Camaro Z28 would be a mid 10sec beast ALL MOTOR!?!? A Cartek 416ci LS3 with a RPM built 4l60 trans makes 10s look EASY.
Finally! Someone else actually not scared to utilize the 4l60e and prove the critics wrong. (Mines also gone mid 10s on motor and 9s on spray)

Not much tuning wise on a 60e. Make sure its built right and it'll work.
A year late, but this still applies to me at least; I don’t know anyone that can build one that will take more than 650 whp reliably. Trans shop that I know has a great reputation has built plenty of simple 4L80e rebuilds that hold 700-900whp with ease and has lasted around 5k miles at 1020whp in a 4800 lb truck . Not mine, bosses truck. He switched to the 80e from the 60e when his “Stage 4 750RWHP Built 4L60E” destroyed itself at 630hp on the dyno.
@@zachawge8576 performabuilt can make a 4l60e that will hold 1000hp. I am running a level 2 in my crew cab truck

Very simple to go fast. You don't need to over do it if you are smart with your parts selection.

LS3's are no joke in an F body. I have a cam only LS3 with a gwatney performance custom grind. It is a carb setup on E85 with a Th400 and a 4500 converter. Went 6.45@104 and 10.26 @132. Out ran my previous motor which was a 402ci ls2 stroker

Qa1 single adjust front on 6 and both rear on 5, bmr lower Aarm, BMR springs in the front, GM 6cylinder camaro springs in the rear. Front sway bar removed and a TRZ anti roll bar for the rear
