I ❤❤❤❤watching your videos at the auctions How the auctioneers speak so fast- that’s the skilled training Also you get to know the 🐑 farming community just like you 😄😄👍 👍 🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴
Hi Sam, we love Oliver and think he's really down to earth! We didn't see him buy the two tups - how much? Now that's the 64,000 dollar question!! xx Malc and Ann North Lincs xx
Hi Sam, ... another great video.... I believe that if you have knowledge it is worthless until you pass it on, you may never know how valuable that knowledge was to the person you gave it to. . But you can enjoy richness beyond your wildest dreams, that without the knowledge you passed on that persons life was poorer..... 😊
I watched the podcast, it was good! Oliver explained his thoughts on swaledales were bang on, really. I bet he did get some funny looks at the auction! 🤣 I noticed the gasps around the ring when the auctioneer jumped the bid £5000 for that tup to reach £25000!
I can assure you it's all for show nobody has ever paid that for any tup you bid mine up and I will bid yours up and Sam might buy a tup every bit as good for 1400 pounds
@johnmchardy4502 Oh, I know that. There will be some serious amount of luck money involved, too. It's all just to get a "name" and more interest from buyers in future sales.
I dont think it does the farming business any good at alll because if a farmer spends his life breeding champion tups or bulls they will never get a record price unless they are in the loop or. Its who you know rather than the quality of the animal that gets the high prices and nobody actually pays the money its just a cosy agreement between the seller and the buyer and the auctioneer and the sheep game cammy actually explained on one of his videos how they fool people with their fake deals 😊@FarmersSss
Well I’ve been watching Cammy‘s videos for awhile now. I have come across you now so interesting looking at northern hemisphere farming compared with us down here in New Zealand. Never heard of that breed of sheep not down here and they are crazy prices. We call them rams down under
Going to a swaledale tup sale after FBF podcast at least Oliver now knows what a fart feels when trapped in a crowded lift 😂😂😂 keep up the good work ex-pom john in Tasmania
It's also not what Oliver says, its what he doesn't say 😂 Even when he isn't swearing now I can guess what he is thinking even by his whistle! 🎵 Give a little whistle 😙😙🎵 It did make me chuckle 😂
Hey Sam grate podcast 😅dear nice to no ur making cabbage 😋 from RUclips 😅that money in Ireland lol your oliver spoke well and noes his stuff on fuckin sheep farming 😅hate sheep 🐑 😀 my self am get that georguse valtra under cover out off winter rain 🌧 spend ur RUclips money on machinery she Sam keep that fine valtra looking sweet 😋 dear oliver is getting good 👍 on video 📹 to I'm worming little more to him as time goes on lol 😆 kind regards from Mr valtra South Ireland 🇮🇪
Do you ever go to Hawes tup sales,we usually go to one of the days, there's always some huge prices. Not going next week though as we,re of to Chester for a couple of days.Absolutely loved the podcast,Oliver came into his own.x🙂
I'm new to the sale of animals, but am I the only one here troubled by how some of the sheep are treated in the ring? On a previous video where you were selling, Oliver was great...no poking with a stick or pushing them around.
@pksaal if you're selling, you want to show your stock to the best. So making them move in the ring, it's so buyers can see all around them. And see how they walk, etc. It doesn't harm them at all.
I'm a sheep farmer from the south of lreland and love to have a barrel of Guinness with oliver and solve the problems of this sheep game that we love to hate.😂may all your sheep hold.
Hi Sam, Oliver and family, it's so nice to see more of Oliver in front of the camera and talking. He definitely is a shy man but a very enjoyable character with his banter. He jokes with you a lot and it's a very clear sign of two hard working people enjoying each other's company and in love. He's a family man and you both are perfect for each other. Sam your so easy going that's why you work so well together. Beautiful video thank you for sharing.
i know i'm a bit dumb when it comes to sheep but i couldn't really see a massive difference between the ones making a £1,000 and the one that made £34,000.......all about the breeding i suppose........hope he doesn't turn out to be jaffa at that price. just a idea .......could you not breed a few swaledale Rams and have a go at selling a few that way.......looks like there's money to be made at those prices
A great video and I enjoyed the podcast Shila was like the baby jesus in the straw in mart
Haha yes fast asleep and gave my arms a rest 🤣

Good to see Oliver happy being miserable.
What's the little box fixed to the side of the auctioneer's box, Oliver's stood by it at 27:27?
It puts their lot number on the big screen
Who got closest to guessing the average cattle price ?
Will mention on the next I forgot!
Tups will be cheeper in Feb as it's too late they will want them now nov for April lambing
