Why is it a bad thing that Nash was about the money? When a football player or baseball player gets a mind breaking contract, we all say get your money, but Nash tries, and he's the bad guy. Why?
It's not bad to a point on one hand as anyone not in business for money is a fool. But, the criticism of Nash is that even when he was making more money than anyone in WCW except Hogan, that he went about things in a way that was self-serving at the expense of the business. I wasn't there and can't say, but that's the criticism, not simply that he was in the business for money, as everyone was. Nash isn't the reason WCW died. He's not even a part of a reason. WCW was run by a TV studio that, after the Time-Warner/AOL merger, decided it didn't want to do wrestling anymore and kept cutting funding, as well as sending suits to the creative meetings to kill every idea they had. Kevin Sullivan and Dusty Rhodes spoke of this at length where they were undercut at every turn, and profits from WCW were used to float other sinking departments of the TV studio. Bischoff talked about how different it was when he returned to the company and wasn't allowed to speak to Turner or any higher ups for anything anymore. In Wcw Kevin Nash worked over The Giant by power bombing him on many occasions so nobody other than him could do that so yes he's definitely a badass mother F. For sure period
You know, Kevin doesn’t get enough mention for the legit tough guys of wrestling. Maybe it’s because of the quad jokes or how laid back he appears to be. Honestly I didn’t think much about it until I watch this video.
If Nash was so Legit then why is it that he was afraid to face Jerry Sags? Why did Nash beg Eric Bischoff to fire The Nasty Boys instead of Nash facing Jerry Sags in a fight? The answer is simple. Nash knew that Sags was going to beat the living sh1t out of him and that there was nothing Nash could do about it because Nash was nothing more than a bully that picked on guys that were afraid of losing their jobs. Go ask Jerry Sags if he thinks Kevin Nash was a Legitimate Badass. Sags will laugh in your face and ask you if you've been smoking crack.
@kevthegoat8774 I don't think he was there, but I could be wrong. On the other hand, Waltman was there when the infamous Syracuse incident happened and Bulldog said he hid under the car most of the time ("he was checking the fuc*in' muffler!") and when he did try to help, he "threw some weak karate kicks but they just tipped him over like a scarecrow" (exact quote from Bret's book).
@@VeryStupid4547 Nash said The Harris Brothers came up to him about it after and told him, neither of the Harris Brothers were guys you wanted to mess with.
@kevthegoat8774 I guess they wanted to be straight with him and see if there was any beef. You can look at it as Nash letting bygones be bygones, or knowing who to not fuck with. There's probably a mixture of both there. I honestly doubt he would've just stood there and let it happen if he were physically there though.
Seems to me that if you get Kevin as a friend he will back you no matter what. If you get on his bad side, you will feel it. All these stories, it seems most of them happened for a reason. Either provoked or to help someone in need.

Was at one of TNA’s early shows here in Michigan sick with a sinus infection and runny nose with a corner seat in the 4th row and ran up to the guardrail when Nash came out. He saw me drinking a beer and signaled if he could have a sip and when he grabbed the cup it disappeared inside his mit of a hand. Still the biggest hand I have ever seen. I’m 6’3 and he dwarfed me, fingers the size of bratwurst, mountain of a man.
Awesome, you are the kind of person I would have watched wrestling with back in the day. I love the big, badass tough guys. I respect people who can kick your ass. I don't want to watch Jericho still trying to look tall after 30 years.
I see you found and used some of my research. Very well made and put together video btw. Usually I'm not a fan of these type of fan doc videos, as they're filled with misinformation. But I got to end of your video & don't have any complaints which is rare. So you earned yourself a sub. There is still a lot of information you left out on Nash being a badass however that you could probably make a part 2. For example Nash had an unlicensed boxing match and used to spar with WBA heavyweight champion John Tate, the incident with PCO in 1995, that time he threatened the Nasty boys which Sting is on video describing, Russo saying Nash made Joe cry when he slapped him, and the time he got arrested in May 2011 for battery for subduing a guy who came at him with beer bottle, etc. Feel free to get in touch if you ever decide to make a part 2. I'll hook you up whatever knowledge, footage, etc. I have.
Hey man, thanks for the kind words! Yeah I did find some very useful information in your videos so thank you for putting in the time and effort! I'll drop a credit to your channel in the description! Thanks for the offer for collaboration as well! I'm a Nash fan and I find his story very interesting. I'm sure I'll be doing another video about him or other nWo/Kliq members soon! Let's make something happen! Thanks again!
He's one of my favorites he's really good actor also I was hoping to see him in more movies after the punisher unless he did and I just didn't know about it
Nash was not the reason WCW died, and he loved the wrestling business. He was just a smart businessman. Kevin just never saw himself as a wrestler growing up. He thought he was going to be playing basketball basketball and people misinterpret that all the time.
Even though hes kind of slow and he was never really good at the technical wrestling, hes still not the type of guy really anyone would want to F with.
He was also Super Shredder in Teen age mutant ninja turtles..Also a bouncer at a bar called Lacy's in Michigan...He hung out with a kid in TNT-- Tough North Trenton I lived on Roehrig he was HUGE as a kid i am 3 years younger than he was. we would play with our stomper trucks at lunch time..
The whole Samoa Joe incident, Nash got off lucky, cause while Nash was in his 50s, Joe was between 25 to 30, and all Joe had to do if he wanted to, was kick Nash in the knee, Nash would've went down to one knee, and Joe would've put his MMA training to use on Nash's face, not saying Nash isn't tough, but he got lucky when you think about it.
Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair have both denied the incident of Nash slapping Piper, Bischoff was actually really annoyed about it when talking about it on his podcast, he said that they were close to fighting but it was just shouting, that's it.
Nah, Piper would have taken him. Nash had very bad knees most of his adult life. You can see this in the way he moved around. I really like Nash. Dude has some great mic skills.
Nash was afraid to fight Jerry Sags. Nash begged Eric Bischoff to fire The Nasty Boys so that he could avoid having to face Jerry Sags. Nash is nothing more than a big man that is easily put in his place if you actually stand up to him.
This guy never had any formal kung-fu or MMA training but he had natural size and more importantly, he had the attitude. That's enough to carry you a long way, whatever size you are. Look at Brian Pillman, Bob Holly or Kid Kash, and none of those guys were over 6'9'' and well over 300lbs.
At 6' 9" of course this guy is a freak of nature especially if experienced. But of course being this big also makes you a big target. Gotta know your limitations and stay composed or it can go bad really quick.
He's kind of a badass but putting him next to Meng in the thumbnail might give the false impression that Meng wouldnt woodchipper him. Nash is smart enough to pick his spots.
I know a large group of independent wrestlers and i can safely say that all of them are legit tough guys compared to normal people. It doesn't matter what their build is, from the big and fat, the small and skinny, they are all tougher than average people working a 9-5
Kevin Nash and Scott Hall where the best decision WCW made bringing them back they both could do promos especially Hall "one more 4 the good guy's "

The company that owned WCW no longer wanted to be in the wrestling business, so they milked it's profits to pay for everything else until it was dead, and then sold it to Vince.
I like Kevin Nash. Nobody Cares, but still I like Kevin Nash. Hogan kinda sucks 😢 sad for me to say that because I’m a lifelong Hulkamaniac but damn he needs to learn when to lay low.
I remember, there was a story in 91 or 92 I think, during the summer in detroit, a gang of dangerous men tried to attack Nash, but he was able to take them down without throwing a single punch.
Dude was a legit badass according to some gang members, they couldn't hold on to BIG SEXY.
That happened in 1992 and they ended up attacking him
In Wcw Kevin Nash worked over
The Giant by power bombing him on many occasions so nobody other than him could do that so yes he's definitely a badass mother F. For sure period
You know, Kevin doesn’t get enough mention for the legit tough guys of wrestling. Maybe it’s because of the quad jokes or how laid back he appears to be. Honestly I didn’t think much about it until I watch this video.
Great video and editing….new subscriber in me
They guy was a bouncer before getting into wrestling. What do you think he's going to be like?
You're exactly the type that needs him to protect you
@@arthurmorgan7086 and your point is?
@@NoobGamerTopG that you're a wimp
If Nash was so Legit then why is it that he was afraid to face Jerry Sags?
Why did Nash beg Eric Bischoff to fire The Nasty Boys instead of Nash facing Jerry Sags in a fight?
The answer is simple.
Nash knew that Sags was going to beat the living sh1t out of him and that there was nothing Nash could do about it
because Nash was nothing more than a bully that picked on guys that were afraid of losing their jobs.
Go ask Jerry Sags if he thinks Kevin Nash was a Legitimate Badass.
Sags will laugh in your face and ask you if you've been smoking crack.
So was The Rock lol He was a bouncer during his CFL days in Calgary. Believe me, he was just as much of a cocky @sshole then as he is now.
Bulbasaurs
KWAB
Kevin Nash was one of the dopest super stars I have ever met.
Really good video, never knew any of these Nash stories
6:58 bruh seeing him run made me wanna run away lol 😂
The Great OZ, Vinny Vegas, Disle, and Big Sexy are too sweet!
Great video. Really good voiceover, music and editing with slow mo video clips! 👍
Great doc
Thank you!
wcw died because nwo got too big kevin nash was & still is a badass
Nash is definitely one of my favorites
Good vid. Liked and subbed
“This was not his quad” funny af.
"Not everybody's favourite guy" a picture of Matt Borne flashes....I see what you did there.
What I remember is that he was normally slow but when he hit a move his opponent would sell it so good. Kinda like Jason Vorhees from those movies.
He, is actually very agile, just like Paul White was but was told to not jump out of smaller wrestler way and just be a GIANT
Being Shawn's bodyguard was a shoot.
Did nothing when Ron Harris goozled Shawn Michaels
Hall & Nash looked so Big, cool, & badas$ @ that 1st BATB
[I say that as a grown straight man in his 40s]
Nash is the real deal
KWAB
Meet him at comic con few months back. He was very respectful and nice.
Two of my fav nash and Hall.
I'm a big kevin nash fan and I always will be a fan of his
Seems to me that if you get Kevin as a friend he will back you no matter what. If you get on his bad side, you will feel it. All these stories, it seems most of them happened for a reason. Either provoked or to help someone in need.
Super Shredder!!!
Learned a lot from this. Nice vid
Food for thought. Don't credit or show anything wikipedia. Legitimate sources only. Love your channel bro. Fan here
Good point! I don’t use it too much, I only use it for some basic info, the rest comes from first hand accounts and whatnot! But thanks for the feedback! I really do appreciate it and it’s good to keep that in mind!
Thanks for watching and being a fan of the channel!
This changed my opinion of Nash. I never hated him or anything that extreme but I wasn’t a fan. Now I see that he’s not just a tough guy. He’s loyal and has a big heart.
Don't confuse the character with the man. Kevin is a great guy, a family man. We all have a past, dont let it ruin your future.
Yeah I saw that family guy come out when he beat up his son
The mt Rushmore of wrestling: The undertaker, Bret “the hitman” hart, Sting, and Kevin Nash
Hope he’s doing well. Ik his son passing shook him. Let’s go Kevin 💯
i worked with a guy who looked alot like kevin nash and when i met him he was in his mid 40s or early 50s, dude lived a fucking crazy life and was a unit.... this past year i found out he passed
My favourite wrestler. No technician but the kind of bloke you want in the pub with ye.
He is still my favorite too. I'm also a Test fan because he reminded me of Nash and had the best Running Big Booty🫡
You could definitely pick a better person to start a bar fight with!
KWAB Kev was always badass
The problem was the nwo angle hit a peak that could go no higher and had nowhere to go but down and they had nothing else to follow it
I see you found and used some of my research.
Hey wolfie why do you have a crush on Kevin R. Nash?
It happened, it really freaking did
@@KWABWrestlingEntertainment Wait is this true??????
Wolfie and nash sitting in an alley
It was a BATTERY 🔋 that the dude threw at Nash’s head, not rocks 🪨
Lots of guys make it rain in strip clubs, those Marines chucking quarters were making it hail.
If Kevin Nash is a "Legitimate Badass" then why did he run crying to Eric Bischoff instead of standing up to Jerry Sags and fighting him?
I watched more wrestling with Hall & Nash than I did without them!! 👍
Nash and Hall WERE WCW
He's one of my favorites he's really good actor also I was hoping to see him in more movies after the punisher unless he did and I just didn't know about it
He was in the football movie...The Longest Yard and Magic Mike movies and a few other movies
Kevin Nash. Way to go
Kevin has balls of steel. He got stabbed legit on a movie set. Still finished the film. I don't care who you are. That is fully bad ass.
Nash was not the reason WCW died, and he loved the wrestling business. He was just a smart businessman. Kevin just never saw himself as a wrestler growing up. He thought he was going to be playing basketball basketball and people misinterpret that all the time.
i never had a problem with Nash
Never had a problem with him!
Piper would have knocked Nash out he was a boxer and trained in Judo.
@@indyphillipconner6252In his younger years maybe, I don't think so back then in 1997.
2:18 hahaha “Not his quad”. Nice.
His mother’s family is from where I’m from, Western Kentucky.
Didn't something happen to this guy in the summer of 1992?
Afraid so!
KWAB
Yeah a group of African guys tried to make him pregnant 🫄
heart attack at 36 is terrible, rest in peace Robert Nash
@10:40 so he slapped and papped the pide Piper 🛂😮😅r,i,p to Roddy
Good thing Nash wasn't stabbed in the heart on that Punisher scene.
He may be tough but he always reeked of scumbag. Samoa Joe could've tied him into a pretzel back in TNA, thankfully Joe showed great resolve.
The Man of Four Moves
Kevin Nash was always one of the best!
He's kind of a badass but putting him next to Meng in the thumbnail might give the false impression that Meng wouldnt woodchipper him. Nash is smart enough to pick his spots.
Sounds like an awesome friend.
Nash is a real one a savage a beast bedside being bigger and stronger then everyone 💯
Well researched and detailed video 👍I didn't know he served in the military 🤔👍👍👍👍
I know a large group of independent wrestlers and i can safely say that all of them are legit tough guys compared to normal people. It doesn't matter what their build is, from the big and fat, the small and skinny, they are all tougher than average people working a 9-5
Who’d have guessed that men whose job is to be fit and strong would be strong? Fascinating 😂
How can anyone doubt that Kevin Nash is tough?
He also played the super sized shredder in TMNT 2
Lmao! No buddy, Joe Knew better!
Big Daddy Cool 💪
I love the absolute beautiful Jacknife powerbomb of his❤
