The effort put in for the 07:50 - 08:10 part didn't go unnoticed! I know it must've been a pain to set the camera, drive by and go pack to pick it up again every time!
It looks like your having a blast this summer! Keep up the great content, it’s been so fun watching you have adventures and I can’t wait to continue following along ❤
Hi, Rosa! Congratulations on making delicious naan and the supporting cast of flavorful filling. Thank you for sharing good food, beautiful scenery and relaxing views of California coastline. Hi, Elrond!
Coastal weather is my favorite weather. It is the best! And what a view. Perfect. Big Tree and Tall Tree, what it lacks in creativity, it makes up for in factual accuracy
Yet another excellent video! The skillet bread looked great! You worked hard, lots of angles etc. Your timing is perfect, had coffee while watching you drink yours❤❤
You definitely have a knack for finding the most beautiful places in your adventures. I've never been to the West Coast... it's a bucket list item for me. BTW... that poor tripod😂
Your bread looked great!!! Just for the future .. you can make chapatis (which is another kind of flatbread) without yeast (it's much faster) and it's GREAT to eat with a meal for scooping, like you did, or with some butter and jam! Chapatis (Indian Flatbread) 2 cups whole wheat flour or drum-wheat “Atta” ▢1 teaspoon salt ▢1 cup water ▢2 tablespoons wheat flour (for rolling and dusting) Sieve the flour, add salt to it and mix well. Place the flour in a large bowl and add 3/4 cup of the water. Stir gently with fingers in a circular motion until the flour starts to gather. Add 1-2 tablespoons more flour if the dough looks too sticky. Add more water if it looks too dry and firm. Knead the flour until it becomes soft and pliable and doesn't stick to your fingers. You can put a little oil on your hand while kneading the dough to help with kneading. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let the dough rest for at least 1 hour, at room temperature. You may store the dough in refrigerator. Just thaw to room temperature before using it. Once ready to make chapatis, heat the griddle over medium-high heat. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal-sized dough balls. Working on one dough ball at a time. Roll a dough ball in the flour and flatten it a bit with your hands. Transfer the flattened ball to a clean flat surface, roll it with a rolling pin into a 6-7 inch disc. If the dough sticks to the surface, dust the surface with more flour. Place the chapati on the hot griddle and cook for 30 seconds or until tiny golden dots appear on the surface, flip over and cook the other side. Flip over again and soon the chapati will start to puff up. Use a folded kitchen towel and press gently on the puffy chapati to push the air to the flatten part of of the chapati. The whole bread should puff up into a round ball. Transfer the cooked chapatis to a serving platter. You may baste it with a little butter or ghee. Serve immediately (or not, it keeps well in a plastic bag or sealed container). If your chapati doesn’t puff up like a ball, it will still taste delicious. It may take a little practice to get puffy chapatis. You can also puff up the chapati on direct flame.
So I just woke up about noon when like half of your day is over and I get to have my coffee with you while enjoying your video. What a way to wake up! I'm going to age myself here..but then you are jamming out to Bon Jovi...that's totally my jam.. their early stuff.. the last few albums totally suck. Then you trip while walking & talking and I almost spill my coffee. what a great morning! When I lived in Cali about 10 years ago I would drive up the PCH (rt 1) on the central coast starting south by San Luis Obispo up to the redwoods & Bixby Bridge area every few weeks, just to enjoy the drive. It's a great drive with some great scenery. It's not Utah or Washington, but it's still nice!
Brings back wonderful memories of my 1st car camping experience with a bicycle. Camped, bicycled to Ferndale and back on the Mattole Rd then the washboard Lighthouse rd. The cows are really happy and are free range so watch for their crossings. It was magical cycling with the hawks flying at the same height. Can’t wait to go back.
I love that you're showing another part of California I've never been to. The Lost Coast. I've driven up the "good maintained" part of HWY 1 a hundred times, then cut over to good HWY101. "More cows than people" -- sounds good to me! I've made yeasted bread 100x in a house. I love hot fresh bread. I'm gonna remember to try making naan on the road sometime. For some reason, I never expected to hear Bon Jovi on your channel. hehe. Finally, LOL @ tumbling tripods :)
Rosa wake up lol. You are so lucky. Best wishes and kindest regards gosh I wish I was there, the sea sounds so relaxing 😌 💕 That is just like England. I live on the East coast, North Sea very rough and angry, sometimes like a mill pond. But sometimes it's like being in the Mediterranean as well. Until the current bun goes down (Sun) then everything turns blue. Lol 😁 I am catching up sorry to be behind the times. I love your sharing, I love the photography and hope you make your mark on everyone that joins your shared life. Take care we miss you, after all this make sure your Elrone is running every week whilst you take your feet for a beating, otherwise, I never know why you do this, except teaching your feet a lesson. Lol. There may be mechanical problems later if it isn' kept running. After all he looks after you and I am sure misses you like we do. Take care on your tor over the high lands. We all await your return. Kindest regards Tel. Safe journey
Loving your channel more and more. Just started watching it about a month ago and now I'm obsessed with it! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. 🤗🤗🆒🆒
Yep…. Dangerous 🌎 out there…. 4 legged and especially 2 legged creatures…. Facts….. I admire this girls sense of adventure though ; brave is an understatement …. Be Safe. 🙏
Rosa! 20k!! 🎉💜 I love how much your channel has grown! You make the best vlogs and I’m elated that others see it as well!! Keep doing what your doing!! So excited for you!
Great video!! I especially enjoyed the sunrise views. That juxtaposition of deep turquoise & rosy pink is breathtaking. And I had no idea there was a black sand coast in that area. In 2002 I drove from San Francisco to Eureka but did not continue far north enough to go through this area; I transferred from PCH over to 101 south of Fort Bragg. Thank you for sharing this adventure! P.S. I like places with more cows than people too. West Virginia has a lot of cows & I love it there.
I love your videos, I'm learning how to film my adventures as I do tons of solo road trips and worth sharing the experience. Setting up the camera to capture the drive by is cool I'm sure it's lot of work having to go back to collect it lol. My motto has always been Pass by life or, it'll pass you by ❤️❤️
You cooking from the back of your car blows my mind. I’m trying your recipes in my home kitchen. You make it look so easy. What a beautiful location! Perfect day with a cup of coffee. Life’s good. Those big trees reminded me of my visit to “Muir Woods”.❤❤❤
You just showed the marine layer, which is what I have been trying to explain to people for decades why San Francisco is so cold in the summer. That blanket of clouds comes in and poof, there goes the sun.
I'd like to get a sound byte alarm on my phone of your soft voice saying "Goooood Moooorniiiing." Then if I didn't acknowledge it after 3 times it would increase volume x5 and yell "Have a Nice Day!" 🤣 You and Elrond have a great time at the next Element meet-up. 😍
I just bought a Honda Element with a camper top custom converted in California and Google/RUclips algorithm knew to suggest this RUclipsr to me 😁 Perfect!
I have a confession The YT world brought me to your old YT. Im So glad you have your own channel. I can see you blossom and be creative in your own channel. I honestly dont think ppl got to know how awesome and wonderful you are. You keep it real, you say the facts and cut through the BS. Love ya and your channel. 🥰Cant wait to see you get your own youtube play button!
I love your channel and I am sure you know this but if you decide to leave the coast make sure to give your vehicle a good washing. especially the undercarriage. Salt air will absolutely take its toll on your car.. Happy New Year..!
Just found your channel, great stuff! Keep it up....I'm loving it. Been watching vids like these for a few years now, still haven't pulled the trigger and made it out full time. Done a few test drives so to say....I think it would be an amazing adventure to get out on the road even of just for a year or two. Thanks for the vids :)
This is your 81 year old friend living in the Maine woods. Still getting my suv ready for car camping. Got my tri fold mattress all set up today. That non bread would be so good with some of my good Maine maple syrup. A friend brought me in a jug of birch syrup. Never had it before. You be careful out there. Look forward to your next video. By the way can’t wait to camp in a snow storm.
Only in America - having to put up a notice to tell people a tree was tall. For your tripod, get a bean bag and place on the lower legs, the weight will keep it up in even moderate winds. (If on grass use tent pegs and paracord).
Hi Rosa , Ive been to the west coast but didnt care for all those rocks everywhere . Somebody should clean them all up . East coast beaches I think are better as they are all smooth , with the exception of pulling a shark hook out of your foot once in a while .
Something about the West Coast. I find it much more beautiful then the East Coast. Thanks for sharing!
Agreed 👏🏼
I agree! I mean the east coast will always have a special place in my heart, but the west coast is best ❤️

Your bread looked great!!! Just for the future .. you can make chapatis (which is another kind of flatbread) without yeast (it's much faster) and it's GREAT to eat with a meal for scooping, like you did, or with some butter and jam!
Chapatis (Indian Flatbread)
2 cups whole wheat flour or drum-wheat “Atta”
