was on a positioning flight with elal airlines Boeing787 900. Was seating in business class. The RR enging was just next to me.. this is how its looks..
Despite all the crap the airlines pull (fees, overbooking, etc) modern flying really is a marvel. Quiet, safe, cost effective. I think we've come to take for granted the hard work and engineering prowess and sacrifice of the pioneers who helped build modern air travel.

Captain Boeing can I tell you what I saw on my way back to ATL from Orangeburg. Either a C-5 or C-17. I stopped on I178 and took pictures. It landed at the North Airfield Station. Yes, I was smiling and waving.😇😇😇😇😇
Flew three Dreamliner flights One on a United 787-9 from SFO-IAH and back and another one on a United 787-10 from SFO-EWR and flew a 777-200 back to SFO

ricky Brown that’s an intentional design and part of the reason the GE engine is almost 25% more expensive than the RR Trent on the Dreamliner. GE engines are the best in the world for commercial aviation.

Flying old planes IS REAL FLYING! I like the 787 a lot but i hate the modern hush engine sounds ;-;
Modern planes can have a lot of issues the 747 sp is 44 years old and is very safe (same with the 743 744 and 748)
Be happy that we haven’t completely switched to electric yet!

I saw all the oil containers down below on the side of the interstate. As a matter of fact, I just met a nice young lady from Newark in SC Wednesday.
The RR Trent 1000 was speed engint at 185,000rpm for take off and 75,000 rpm for landing and 15,000 rpm for taxiing
