My cheapest shoes are 11 dollars, so I am not a shoe snob by any means. However, the difference between 25-dollar and 200-dollar shoes is VERY noticeable for certain things. Running shoes, for example, or hiking boots. I will not run 40 miles a week with cheap shoes. Kudos to you if you do, but I would kill my knees.
