@@daviddumbraveanu589 They are actually making up the rear of the band contingent at that point but there are then three guards for the colour in the ranks. The RAF parade slightly differently in that the three colour guards are behind not alongside the colour as say the Navy do. Each branch has its own fifferent way of presenting on parade.

What I love about the military bands( in addition to the music, of course!) is that it makes people smile.
Sadly, not that of the Legion D’Etrangers. Melody-less, morbid, dirges as they slow march. (Taking nothing away from their fighting prowess).
