Ahhh, the nostalgia of doug and the 360
how is doug nostalgic
I remember!
@@alalal123421tell me you're not an old Doug fan without telling that you're not, he's referring to the old days where Doug had a red 360

Doug is the kinda guy who makes a car sell for MORE because he sweat all over it.
Doug, visibly drenched in sweat: the air conditioning always works and works well
Ahhhhh my 1st laugh of the day. Thank you Sir!!!
I think he actually got rained on.
Cars and Sweat.
@@aaronvanzile3824I had the exact same thought!
Saw this car's big brother, the F430 at my local gas station a couple days ago. Up close these era Ferraris give you a 'feeling' that a lot of modern supercar designs don't. Very striking car visually
F430 and F40 are some of the most underrated Ferrari cars.
@@purwantiallan5089I wouldn't say that the F40 is underrated.
Drove an F430, amazing grip
I may be mistaken but I first watching Doug when he bought his 360 and I still go back and watch them sometimes, it’s amazing how far he’s gotten in these 9 years. Love what you do Doug.
Calm tf down ok
I’ve watched him from around that time too, him, Regular Car Reviews and Mighty Car Mods were (and are) the only worthwhile car channels on RUclips.

This car was the reason I discovered Doug's channel back in 2018, when I watched his video about the problems he had faced with his then-own Ferrari 360. Ah, memories...
Thats great that you thought you had to share this with everyone...
Dude doing some serious sucking with this comment
@@bobhey4969 What's your problem, dude?
@@moe7789 That's what RUclips comments are for.
Hey man I also started watching Doug videos the exact same way and I enjoyed reading your comment and I hope you have an awesome day.
Favorite Ferrari. It was in the intro of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 and for some reason it was treated as the hardest/final car to unlock. It was treated as the "NFS: Edition" version of the 360 Spider so it had improved acceleration and a slightly higher top speed. Oddly enough, even though all of the rest of the "NFS: Edition" cars had only one default color/livery; the 360 Modena was the only one with 5 full color options.
Ahh yes I remember on the ps2, that car was also the only car later u could drive in first person mode. Memories
And bad boy 1
@@warfieldconstruction7424 that's a bicycle
@@xavierviper No? u could drive first person with any car on hot pursuit 2.
That isn't true. It was among the best cars, but the 2 top cars where the McLaren F1 and the Mercredes CLK GTR. Both had 2 versions as well
This Ferrari has aged absolutely splendidly. And the more intricate and crazy they look with every new generation, the more they stray away from a achieving timeless look
Exactly. They were beautiful in a timeless way back then. Now they're impressive looking but not pretty. Except for the Roma. That's the only truly beautiful Ferrari they made since quite a while.
@@AxLWake2023 cars are no exception.
I think the exterior looks are the only thing about this car that haven’t aged. Everything else certainly did.
@@AxLWakeone of the most beautiful cars ever made. I like the looks way more than the 430.
This is really the Ferrari you want all around. You get one with relatively low mileage like this that’s clearly being taken care of and you can trust to own it for maybe a year and really enjoy owning a beautiful Ferrari and being able to afford to keep it that long without losing the value you put in and maybe even daily it for the time if you feel safe enough to do so until you’re ready to sell it with maybe only about 10k more miles on it. But that was 10000 miles of an absolute childhood dream come true experience that doesn’t make you regret having it before you let it go to the next enthusiast that would truly enjoy it.
Doug is the type of guy to say the air conditioning works but doesnt use it
My man is STRUGGLIN.
His Aspergers is showing every time he does that
To be fair, the fan blowing strongly might have interfered with the audio. If so, I'd have driven the thing around until it cooled off inside, lol.
I think it's because if he did use it, the fan would be blowing on the camera, interfering with the audio, and same thing would've happened if he opened the windows.
@@roddydykes7053 Does he really have this condition? It would explain a lot in terms of his speech patterns. Not trying to diss this dude BTW.
This, the 812 Superfast, 599 GTO, 458 Italia, and the 575M are among my favorite designs of Ferrari’s of the past 25 years.
F12 is amazing too
And F12
Yessir that 458 is definitely one of my favorites
I’ll be honest, after the 812 came out that design started to age for me in a way I didn’t like, as ironic as being a fan of the 575 and 599 sounds.
612 scaglietti is wierd
In my opinion, one of the most beautiful Ferrari's of all time. I can remember watching Doug reviewing his 360 especially when he drove every day for a week. 😂
The styling isn't excessive. It's just the right amount of swoopy exotic and subtle refinement. It doesn't scream "look at me! I have money!" like newer Ferraris.
@@bwofficial1776I agree, it's not screaming in your face, and it's not dull. It's subtle. Also you can't forget about the gated manual.
It is the best looking modern Ferrari, and definitely looks better than the F430 which came after it
I just want to know how doug thinks, that way I can decide if modeling that behavior will put a Ferrari in my driveway. Beautiful car, great color, even if it won't crank it would be beautiful sitting in your driveway.
Ferraris, no apostrophe. So, you make a word plural by adding an S or es in some cases...never am apostrophe.
An '04 spider in red over tan was my first exotic. It had its share of issues and wear but was a fantastic car to drive. Felt almost like a go-kart. Nothing like a 5-valve flat-plane V8!
Is that the ferrari that can be seen in the background of your videos?
@@mrfleagalwhy do you care

"Nothing like a 5-valve flat-plane V8!"
Even the BMW e60 M5 has more impressive engine than the 360 lol.
This was the main Ferrari being sold when I first remember being interested in cars and dreaming about what I wanted to drive. So the 360 has always been one of the primary images in my head when I think Ferrari. I remember ogling a red one that was a giveaway prize or something on display at Mall of America. The see through engine cover was awesome at the time.
I remember seeing that car at moa too
@@brien1254MOA?
I once read someone who remarked that this was the “lowest point” of Ferrari design. Imo I think this and the 550/575 have aged incredibly well. The 360 looks at-least half its age. The giant clear headlight covers almost remind me of some kind of 60’s LeMans racer prototype, and those massive side air intakes are perfect. Whenever I look at the F430 I can’t help but think how it goes slightly backwards with it’s skinny little lights and strange grinning front end.
1999 to 2005 . When life was good
The glass engine cover was the coolest thing ever to me as a kid playing NFS Hot Pursuit 2
I remember Doug owning this car in red in his older videos and also the stuffed animal monkey in the child seat
All the OG's from this channel got that nostalgia kick instantly.
I strongly recommend XPEL clear PPF on the headlights because you don’t want anything to happen to them as they are no longer available from Ferrari. The lens is glued on. The inside is color matched to the car. And they run $3-4,000 apiece used if you can find them.
My dad has owned a manual 360 spider for a couple of years, it's such a fun car. He's toyed with the idea of replacing it with a 458, but the gated manual is irreplaceable. Also, this is the car that will remind you that 400hp is plenty for a road car. Sure, it could be faster, but this is approachable and doesn't get you to felony speeds if you floor it for more than 2 seconds.
As the driver of a daily with 565whp, I truly enjoy the acceleration when I downshift a gear or two and disappear.
Love this color. Might be the prettiest gold I’ve seen on an automobile.
Thats yellow

I still want this as a dream car. Ever since I played Hot Pursuit 2 on the PS2 (best version btw) I’ve been in love. It’s a goal for myself to even drive one. Seeing Doug review it again just puts a smile on my face like no other

I've always had a soft spot for a 360. They just look great IMO... especially in white or silver.
Honestly, it's probably the best looking Ferrari that's still reasonably modern. I really like this yellow but the silver is awesome.
@@the.villanthe 360 much like F40 and F430 always nailed their sweet points.
Same here. It's the super car I've always dreamt of owning since it came out. 2nd best sounding also, especially with a Tubi exhaust. LOVE that wail! But it's gotta be rosso corsa for me, classic Ferrari.
I just love the design of this car -- from the front to the back, everything. Beautiful.
You only have to turn fan knob to the fan symbol position and everything shuts off. Putting it to “aut” will auto run the system to whatever temp you set on the middle dial. Pushing the “stop” button turns off the AC compressor but allows you to run the fans if you just want to ventilate the cabin with air from the outside. You don’t have to touch the “stop” button to turn off the AC system.
Doug - it never gets old watching your face light up when that engine roars. Your passion and excitements jumps through the screen.
This is my favorite Ferrari model. I wanted one when it first came out, and I still want one. A sensible, yet fun sports car. I love the color. Thanks for the review, Doug!🙂
You can’t afford to buy one or can you ?
I wouldn't say it's a "sensible" sports car.
Maintenance will still be absolutely crazy expensive and the car will probably need a lot of it.

The SOUND
I didn't particularly like how the 360 looked when it first came out but I've softened on it quite a bit. The front is still a bit gangly, an aftermarket 360CS style bumper (if such a thing exists) would be a very tempting modification, but it does have some very nice lines to it.
I was never a huge fan of the design of the 360. But now that I'm starting to pick up the various styling details that pay homage to the 246 Dino, it's growing on me.
Doug: If you don't want sticker price shock, this is for you!
Also Doug: This is the final year production, gated manual one, everyone wants! Lol
Doug, seriously, don't head straight for the final Dougscore, we all need to know why a certain score is given to every category
Completely agree, really miss that
Hot Pursuit 2 babyyyyyyyyyy what a classic design this car has!
I used to commute to a genomics company in Palo Alto from the east bay. This was just post the new millenium and I always took 280. One of America's best scenic and gorgeous superhighways. And when I saw a newly minted Modena I'd start chortling, "that better have the F1 gearbox!! CHE BELLA MACCHINA!, and "oh that's probably some Oracle nerd".
To exactly no one. Exceptin' my cup of Peets. By the way 'y'all, a Peets will Keep in a hot roasting car parked carelessly in the sun. The only negative at the literal end of the day is that the now hot again Peets just don't go down right on a scorcher.
That clunky Gen 1 F1 'box was like goll darn rocket science then.
"Wah....but nothing like dual clutch boxes Stefan."
Yes. These dual clutch boxes and logic are insanely good. You gotta remember this is a guy that took an oath to never buy a wuss mobile with a slush box. Evah!
So Godly inefficent. I literally applauded when full lock up TCs appeared. Finally...some fresh thinking from the big three was the last thing I wanna remember about. And yes, today's 10 gear wunderkind TC autos are really good. I simply hate torque converters for reasons known only to Saint Petty. ┐( ∵ )┌
Oh but wait. I did own one slushbox. The first car I bought was a '69 Mach One with the C6 tranny and the 428 Cobra Jet. With the shaker scoop. Some clown heisted the scoop in Oakland back in ''85...a mere 50 feet from where I snored.
Even then the replacement was 900 bucks. Used of course. Back then you had to call ALL around to locate vintage and specialty parts. There were a few OEM scoops floating around in the pre-internet world, but you could spend days chasing after them and I heard a price around 3 grand for a new but well aged shaker scoop. In the 80s.
That thing was a beast and I was lucky I never stacked her up. Mucho fun was had though...trust me. It had a shift kit and the guy I bought it from had tossed in a set of TRW 10:1 dome heads. I never dyno'ed it, but it was good for mid 12 et's in the 1/4. The torque and the sweet aftermarket tach on the steering column were some of the memorable aspects of that car. Those 69 and 70 Mustangs are up there in the muscular curves and bad ass sexiness quotient in my book.
"A stick to stir it with". And this is why we love Doug.
The 360 was my first supercar love. I was a huge fan of sport compact car magazine and every year they did the ultimate streetcar challenge. James Chen brought a stock 360 with upgraded tires and an aggressive alignment and beat up on big turbo supras and GTR sky lines posting leads of almost 10 seconds in lap times better than the rest of the field. I always assumed a 900 horsepower Supra would destroy any super car but it was the 360 that put it all in perspective for me.
Ppl forget supras are very heavy and the engines are like boat anchors a viper engine is almost 3 times the displacement and weighs probably less
@@user-hc5si5tw5p 507 lbs for the 2jz vs 625-650 lbs for the viper
@@Nathan-mg7ho is that fully dressed for both including transmission etc?
They are an underrated and really important transitional car for Ferrari. Lots of new tech including the aluminium construction, easy service access etc but old school mechanics and no buttons on the wheel. I’ve never been a fan of the look of the front straight on but even that’s growing on me…….and the cycle back from excessive angular HyperCard to the recent curvier 296 hybrid makes this look surprisingly modern. Especially if you can get one with the factory carbon sports seats.
When Doug flashes to the 355/348 interiors my eyes widened and the voice inside me said “THAT, is where I want to be....home”
I know there are 360s with tan interiors....but it’s everything else as well
The 355&348 are just perfect
I've been following Doug since he owned a 360. It's good to see him fully explain the "quirks and features."
Now we just need him to review his Nissan Cube and S-Cargo, and who could forget the CarMax bumper-to-bumper Range Rover?
WHY DIDN’T YOU TAKE IT TO THE DEALER?! Although, I also remember the cookie. It was said to have been a good cookie.
I think that this is one of the coolest Ferraris out there, even tho it's not many people's favorite. After all, it was the successor of my favorite Ferrari (along with the Testarossa), the F355
It really is beautiful! Great video as always Doug!

Your videos when you had your 360 is when I started to watch your videos. You were my favorite then and hasn't changed!
Doug’s 360 Modena reviews is what got me hooked on demuro videos from back in the day. Remember the video where he said can a Ferrari pick up women? And the result was no and his advice was “get a dog”. Took his advice got a dog and I have got laid twice since than.
I love this car. Was one of the first supercars that got me into cars
I really like that 360 and the fact that it's a manual makes it that much better I wish I could afford a car like that right now it would definitely bring my spirits up
Hell Doug, it's hot there, you look like with 200 degrees fever dude LOL. I remember your 360. man I've been watching your stuff since day one! I went through hard times when you were starting and it was always like my hiding relaxing place. I never looked back ever since and for that I'm extremely grateful.
Original fans will remember Doug used to own one of these, the nostalgia!!!
The Doug we love , in the Ferrari we love. After spining the world and see every supercar from 1980 until today i finally decided , a 360 Modena with a simple 6 speed manual transmition with the beloved V8 engine is the best choise for me. Nothing more nothing less , not F1 gearshift , no Challenge Stradale , no extra things , no lightwight , no other rims , no more performance , no nothing , just a pure an original Ferrari 360 Modena with black interior and red , yellow or black exterior.
This is probably my 2nd favorite Ferrari model, just behind the 458 Italia. In my opinion these two cars have the nicest styling of anything Ferrari has ever made to this day.
The videos that you made with your ferrari was the reason why I started following you

I've had my eye on one of these for when I graduate and can treat myself after a few years work. I've loved them for all the reasons Doug mentioned, and it's even better to know they're relatively reliable and that I should aim for a later production model for better even better reliability. Couldn't agree more about how this car is the perfect sweet spot Ferrari for the cost!

legitimately my favourite ferrari after the Enzo. NFS HP2 intro movie memories ! thanks for this video Doug !
I LOVE the angle at 1:15 ... such a beautiful car, great wheels and the paint in this shot is spot on - nice and flat. unfortunately it appears to be far more saturated in other shots. apart from the sidemarkers this is the sexiest 360 i have seen. really diggin it and i wish i could afford one.
After a couple of good work bonuses I was able to rent both a Ferrari 360 Spyder, I think an 03 and an ‘05 430 hardtop. Both for 2 days each. The 360 was really let down by the F1 transmission. It was horrible in traffic and only shifted semi fast at full throttle. The 430 was fantastic though. I had no idea the manuals were that rare when I rented it. At the time(‘07) I’m sure the manuals were probably the cheaper option.
GG Doug, sold his business and could live life away from everyone but still makes videos for everyone!
I owned a 2000 360 Modena 6 speed bought at 17xxx and sold it at 45xxx miles over 7 years and had absolutely no issues. Oil change and regular maintenance every year...that was all!
This is probably my favorite Ferrari. It’s the Ferrari that was out when I was a young teenager and it’s always stuck with me.
Growing up in the 2000s, the 360 was THE Ferrari. The Ferrariest Ferrari to have ever Ferraried
The 360 and the 430 are also two of my favorites aesthetics-wise. At the top of that list is probably the 458 but those will never be "approachable".
Back when Doug had the 360 I was on a kick looking for videos about exotic car ownership because I hoped to buy something in the exotic category one day as a fun weekend car. Still haven't made that purchase, but its how I found Doug Demuro.

we went on a trip, and actually with soft bags if you organize them well, putting shoes and rigid things underneath you can put up to 4 soft bags for a total of 100lt behind the seats... 😁
I’d love to just drive ANY Ferrari for a day. Owning one would be an absolute dream. It’s amazing to me though, how much the exteriors of cars can sort of stay so evergreen, but the interiors now change SO much and show their age. Not just with styling, but much more so with technology. I’ve only owned 4 brand new cars in my life, but each time I’ve gone to look at a new one, my mind is blown by how much more modern the interiors have gotten. From my first car that had a CD player, to Bluetooth for my phone, to the first with built in GPS, to many other things like backup cameras and proximity alerts. Now cars have adaptive cruise control, screens all over than can be customized, and all sorts of things that when I was a little kid would have been total fantasy. And I’m only 44. It’s not as if I’m 95 or something.
Can't wait for your db12 review! Hope you get it early like the db11!
You own one caught on fire 🔥 I remember been watching since range rover days. When live in east coast
The 360 has been my main dream car since I was a kid because I was between 6 to 10 years old when this was the top dog. I remember seeing it in all the magazines and falling absolutely in love with the way it looked. Crazy to find out that it's one of the most "reliable" modern classics now and arguably the best first Ferrari. Maybe by the time I'm 40 I'll have figured out how to make enough money to afford one haha. 😭
