Any of you ever have any of these smartphones? Any more phones I should've included on this list? Make sure you go follow me over on Instagram & Twitter or my puppy will be very sad @91_Tech
Good list, I might have also included the Sony Xperia Play. They never released sales numbers but it definitely flopped compared with the hype. Also they stopped updating it within a year and barely sold any games, so probably a big loss for company.
I still remember the god awful ad campaign they ran for that phone. Even if a phone is great, should the ads be burned in my brain a decade later it’ll always be a no from me
@patriciakyledones461 i agree. It was sad to see the mighty RIM rebrand to BlackBerry and then drop BlackBerry 10 for Android. Although i was a huge fan of the legacy BlackBerry operating system. I tried to like BlackBerry 10. I just couldn’t. I then switched to IOS and jailbreak.
@shapelessbb Being one of those who joined during the BB10 era, I quite liked BB10, TBH. I miss my Passport to this day... might buy one from eBay just for a fun joyride once in a while. That keyboard was weird and obviously had a learning curve, but it was a joy to type on, in my experience. The KEY2 just can't compare to it, even though I loved that phone almost just as much.
I loved the UI of my BB Z10, and the typing experience remains the best I’ve had to this day. I was so sad when my Z10 bricked after less than 2 years…RIP, BB10.
Fun Fact: Back when the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had its failure, I couldn't even take my Samsung note tablet onto the plane as they took it from me and put it in a heavy duty suitcase and put it somewhere else.
I remember those days. Hopefully they gave you your phone back on landing or something? I always wondered what happened with folks who had those phones.
Totally realistic scene. I get on my plane in 2016 First thing they say to me “Please don’t take that bomb on this plane as we don’t welcome Kim Jon un (of however u spell it) on this plane.
I based that story off a similar story happened to me as my iPhone 7 was faulty so I had to buy a Samsung a20 for the time being but then I went to a football match the security guard said that it was banned from coming into the building as I was putting the people at risk when it wasn’t a note 7
The biggest one that I remember is the Fire phone, it had potential if they launched it about half the price that they started it at. Not to mention the entire phone was pretty much a giant way for people to spend money on Amazon.
The HTC Thunderbolt did have a beautiful UI though. I got one on Amazon to play with in 2020. Since only the LTE radio works today, battery life was actually decent. It was the CDMA radio that killed it especially with no signal.
@stephenhester9804 not at all, the GUI was basically Material years before Google ripped it off. Transparency, tons of motion and color customization, etc, genuinely useful live tiles... And it absolutely predated most of what we now consider as modern design concepts
Yeah, tying WP directly to universal apps just failed when universal apps died out. If they had instead built it around android dev compatibility, it might have had a chance, but frankly it's damn hard to break into a 2 party monopoly weirdly late. If Microsoft had been much smarter around windows mobile back during the early days of iOS/Android development, they could have been able to leapfrog, but dumping all of that put them behind from the start
@urbanarmory I worked for MS, as a North American Manager over Microsoft stores back during the Windows phone hay day. Thanks for your comment. Windows phone had tons of potential and the tiles served a purpose, as you point out predating much of what we see today, but... the platform jus didn't have third party support ie lack of app development. This compounded the uphill battle MS already face by entering the smartphone race late (production logistics, manufacturer buy-in, etc)
When several of mine friends had windows phones between 2015~2017, i do now, wish that i had one as an seccondary phone at that time, when i've have moto x2, droid razr(the original, named in brazil as moto maxx), and after moto x style and moto z). I admire until today the beautyness of the windows phone interface and praticality
I had a Windows Phone in 2013-14 and really loved it. It was a bit buggy but the UI experience and design was lovely. Their own Spotify-esque app predating Spotify was really good too and I didn't find the lack of app options anywhere near as bad as reported. I'm glad I had one for a couple of years, it was a really nice experience.
Used to have a Lumia 1020, it was the time I took the most photos in my life, it was pretty decent, and that polycarbonate body was really nice, even if it didm't feel as premium as the aluminum phones at the time
@glynch1263 Yes. For some reason Americans can not pronounce it, so they just change it for themselves. But for the civilized world it's called aluminium.
I'm 12, my first phone was a Nokia lumia 520 now I have a 2014 Sony Xperia e4, they are both terrible but they are very cheap and are good for a first phone
I remember the HTC 3D. That was around the time when the 3DS really it its stride, and I'm willing to bet they were trying to steal some of its thunder with that phone.
My Mom had the 8gb 5c for a couple of years, until I gave her my SE when I got a new iPhone. She only had like three apps and some photos and she had no space. She now has an iphone 11 with 64gb which is plenty for her.
I loved my pink 5c. It was my first iPhone and I used it for nearly 6 years. It was still running fine. I now own and Xr and I don’t really enjoy using it. I wish I could afford the 12 Mini, but after taxes it’s more than $1000 in Canada!
I scrimped and saved for two years plus, and finally replaced my ageing iPhone 6s Plus 128GB for an iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB. I certainly wasn’t disappointed!
I used 2 windows phones when I was growing up. A bully tossed one in the toilet so I got another one. I definitely liked it way more than android. Nowadays I’m an iPhone user. The sad thing was 100% the app support. All the popular games were never on windows phone
If windows phone had the same app support as iPhone and Android it would have easily taken off. Especially because of the camera. I mean one model had a 41MP camera, at the time you only saw that with DSLR cameras. The Nokia Icon had a 21 MP camera, which again not even phones today have ones that high quality.
FINALLY someone talking about the Kyocera Echo, my dad had one (I don't know if he ever used it as his main phone) and I was confused when people said that ZTE folding phone was the first one when it wasn't.
You forgot about the Xperia Play, I had one and it was a great phone but Sony pulled the plug at the last second for the majorly anticipated 4.0 ICS update leaving users stuck on 2.3.3. It was definitely a fever dream of a phone and looking back I couldn’t understand why they put a single core cpu in this gaming phone
I remember buying Lumio 930 when it was new just to find out that there is no timer. They has to add it in future update as people were complaining and none from the store worked correctly (you had to stay in the app for timer to work) 😂
The biggest issue with them, that he covered in this video, was app support. That's at least 50% of the reason that your average consumer buys a certain brand of phone, the other being price. I think a lot of people looking for something new didn't consider this until after and without support of the average joe you don't have a mass market product. No matter how good it is otherwise.
I loved my Windows Phones. Man, that OS deserved so much better... I switched to iOS in 2018, when Microsoft actually gave up on it, but I want it to be reviewed so badly.
@TensaZangetsu1200 ditto, if anyone reading this is interested in trying out glassesless 3D and 3D picture-taking the 3DS is probably the best bet for it, and hopefully it's cheap enough by this point that the novelty wearing off quick won't matter
Gosh, I remember joking about the Windows phone back in 2014. It was a total disaster, especially aesthetically (Windows 8 itself had just an ugly UI) especially when there were cheaper and nicer alternatives with Android
I like how you presented this list. It was interesting and I was glued until the end of the video. Contents like these are what makes the smartphone industry be more creative. Great work!
i broke my 5s when i was in middle school, so my parents decided to get my little sister an upgrade and gave me her 5c as punishment. Had to use it until 2018 when I finally got a job and bought an 8 plus. Sucked hard couldn't even play pokemon go.
Let me just get this clear: The second batch of Galaxy Folds were in no way a disaster. Sure, it wasn't optimised and all, but in no way, it was a disaster. People who actually bought it really enjoyed it.
Because overall sales for the 5C were not that good. Compared to figures for other iPhones, it's abysmal. And it wasn't long before carriers started slashing prices on them, and practically (or in the case of a few carriers, literally) giving them away by the time the 6 rolled around.
At the time the newer, best iPhone model (5s at the time) will cost $649 and the 5C was $549 the price. The iPhone 5 was discontinued by Apple but it was still being sell by every network company like Verizon, att, spring etc. At the same price as the 5C. So the price of the iPhone 5c was to expensive for a plastic phone at the time. So people would either choose to buy the iPhone 5s for $100 more or buy the iPhone 5 for the same price of the 5C with better quality. If the phone would’ve cost $449 that would’ve been a hit.
About the time MS gave up on Windows phone the app gap really stopped mattering. You could use web sites for all the social media sites because 4g was that good. Honestly apps are just a bit overrated when you can have all the features at the web site. You could use a windows phone today without much problem.
Unfortunately the platform is dying hard because of the very outdated web browser, currently there's no way to use Messenger because of the outdated web browser
i owned the Kyocera Echo and man let me tell you thats a phone i really wanted to love, the battery never bothered me since it came with a 2nd battery and a charging case for it but what ended up breaking it for me was the mediocre camera, no 4G, and no front facing camera. right after this the Nexus S 4G came to Sprint and I just couldn't justify using the Echo as my main driver but it had so much promise.
It didn’t really need to exist though. They could have just sold the 5 for cheaper. And that’s basically what they do now, just offer last year’s model for cheaper alongside the new one.
Nah the 5c could’ve existed. It was basically 2013s version of the iPhone XR and 11. All 3 phones wanted to serve the same purpose which was being a cheaper option to their “pro” model but the thing is the 5c didn’t get the A7 chip like the 5s and got the A6 from the 5. Also was $100 less
It was a while ago now, but when my mom and I were at an AT&T store, we ran into one of her friends, who was buying a Windows Phone I feel guilty that I didn't warn her about making a bad purchase...
Let’s just say that I was ready to and pumped to spend my money on a blue Galaxy Note 7, and I ended up with a gold S7 edge (witch honestly still is the prettiest phone I’ve ever owned in my opinion)
@TechnoGeek209 I actually wanted the black one a friend of mine had the flat small one in black. but they where out of stock. Nice gold it was nevertheless though and I don’t think there’s a color the edge looks bad in tbh
I had an HTC Evo 3D. You pretty much nailed it. The 3D was a party trick and the rest of the phone suffered for it. It was so buggy and so slow at times. Real shame because HTC had made some absolutely amazing phones over the years!!
The thunderbolt was one of my first smartphones I loved it at the time but then again I was a middle schooler lol, my first smartphone was the Motorola Droid X
I had Windows Mobile running on an HTC Star Trek. It was great at the time, and meshed well with my work PC. The operating system was intuitive. This is the first phone I recall calling up an internet webpage on.
I was a diehard win phone guy since the Lumia 920, loved the OS and it was wildly ahead of it's time. The snappy, super responsive, motion focused design and lovely usability... But because of the failure of the whole win 8 universal app platform in general there was no chance for any serious development and it just became a pain in the ass, constantly. Still, I have a lot of good memories of those phones.
I was just barely saved from the Note 7. Divorce caused me to need to delay on upgrading from my Note 4 by a few months during which all that went down.
Any of you ever have any of these smartphones? Any more phones I should've included on this list?
Make sure you go follow me over on Instagram & Twitter or my puppy will be very sad @91_Tech
Yeah actually, Nokia in the 2010's
I had an iPhone 5C it was my fist phone
Good list, I might have also included the Sony Xperia Play. They never released sales numbers but it definitely flopped compared with the hype. Also they stopped updating it within a year and barely sold any games, so probably a big loss for company.
i had a lumia 530 as a kid . btw i like your commenting and the whole non- extreme (non- fanatic) opinion of yours
You should have included the iPhone 6.
I remember boarding a Lufthansa flight back then. They had literally announced: “Any Galaxy Note 7 must be completely turned off and stored”
@Igor Rogovtsev No
@Igor Rogovtsev oh
@Igor Rogovtsev what did they say
@Igor Rogovtsev oh
@Igor Rogovtsev I don't even know why anyone would want it especially if it explodes
I really love how the “Thunderbolt” had terrible battery
lol
The irony
I still remember the god awful ad campaign they ran for that phone. Even if a phone is great, should the ads be burned in my brain a decade later it’ll always be a no from me
I remember wanting one so bad and a friend's mom got one and she let me check it out and I could just about watch the battery die. I'm like ehh.
Yeah I got one when it came out, SO over hyped. As you mentioned, the battery didn't last and would get hot.
Being a Canadian like myself, how could you have missed BlackBerry’s “relaunch” of their new OS BlackBerry 10?
Had fond memories of it despite being only part of it when BB was in its last legs but... You right
@patriciakyledones461 i agree.

What
How
I remember those days.
Hopefully they gave you your phone back on landing or something?
I always wondered what happened with folks who had those phones.
@imnoteamplayer no it wasn’t a phone it was the galaxy note 10.1 tablet
Totally realistic scene.
I get on my plane in 2016
First thing they say to me
“Please don’t take that bomb on this plane as we don’t welcome Kim Jon un (of however u spell it) on this plane.
The iPhone 5C had cute color options 😭
A light purple like the 11 would’ve been amazing too
They just copied the early 2000s colorful flip phones
That’s why I’m glad I have the blue XR... such a lovely color
Stop accept it ok its true mate.... I'm sorry that was rude
Just like the XR which was...something
I must be a glutton for punishment as I've had three of these phones, the Note 7, HTC Thunderbolt, and the HTC Evo 3d ...
Nah I just feel bad (the note 7 was good though as long as it didn’t blow a hole through your leg)
The HTC Thunderbolt did have a beautiful UI though. I got one on Amazon to play with in 2020. Since only the LTE radio works today, battery life was actually decent. It was the CDMA radio that killed it especially with no signal.
I'm glad you talked about Windowsphone devices. They had so much potential but Microsoft really disappointed users.
And the GUI was hideous, it looked like it was designed for 5 year olds.
@stephenhester9804 not at all, the GUI was basically Material years before Google ripped it off. Transparency, tons of motion and color customization, etc, genuinely useful live tiles... And it absolutely predated most of what we now consider as modern design concepts

They just didn't have the apps. I remember I didn't get one because they didn't have Snapchat.
“Don’t fight. Switch”
Would’ve been a good motto for the Switch
Edit: I didn’t want a war down there
@eithw5100 why you pc?
@eithw5100 dude don’t fight, switch
@eithw5100 *Shut*
@eithw5100 and?
When several of mine friends had windows phones between 2015~2017, i do now, wish that i had one as an seccondary phone at that time, when i've have moto x2, droid razr(the original, named in brazil as moto maxx), and after moto x style and moto z). Aluminium*
The camera ring was aluminium though.
@Osama Ali 'For them' yes, but the element is called Aluminium.
@Paniekzaaiertje no
@glynch1263 Yes. For some reason Americans can not pronounce it, so they just change it for themselves. But for the civilized world it's called aluminium.
I had a Fire phone and just looked back to my old pics took with it and I’m still impressed how good the Camera was
Windows Phone software and Nokia-hardware was impressive, but the lag of apps was just so sad.
my first proper smartphone was a nokia lumia 820 and I really liked that phone! it really is a shame windows phone didn't catch on
It was somewhat catching on in 2013 and 2014, but it died when Satya Nadella decided to discontinue it in late 2014.
My first smartphone was Nokia Lumia 800 and my second was HTC 8S. I really thought Windows Phone would catch on eventually.
I'm 12, my first phone was a Nokia lumia 520 now I have a 2014 Sony Xperia e4, they are both terrible but they are very cheap and are good for a first phone
@ferchinvel *late 2017 and it still got updates until 2020
My first phone was the Nokia lumia 520 I hated the fact u couldn't download most of the apps like candy crush didn't even come out until 2015 or 16
18:00 ok that’s a genius commercial 😂
youtube comments when new iphone released :
Oh, I HATE it.
But i guess there's little enjoyment to be found in it
I honestly would buy a lumia because of this ad
@ Terminal Apotos it’s ads
Ok no but seriously I had a laugh with that ad
these ads are just so damn funny (the older ones). The Nokia ad was hillarious
I had a wave of nostalgia rush over me with that Thunderbolt one, hard to believe it was 2011
I remember the HTC 3D. That was around the time when the 3DS really it its stride, and I'm willing to bet they were trying to steal some of its thunder with that phone.
Everything was 3D back then
Love the style of content! I’m a huge fan of informative and interesting videos like this so I’m looking forward to these newer videos
My Mom had the 8gb 5c for a couple of years, until I gave her my SE when I got a new iPhone. She only had like three apps and some photos and she had no space. She now has an iphone 11 with 64gb which is plenty for her.
When I eventually get married, I hope to start off my marriage with my wedding guests brawling over smartphones
The 950xl had so much potential, loved mine, wish Microsoft kept developing the os
I loved my pink 5c. It was my first iPhone and I used it for nearly 6 years. It was still running fine. I now own and Xr and I don’t really enjoy using it. I wish I could afford the 12 Mini, but after taxes it’s more than $1000 in Canada!
Why don't you get a xiaomi instead. Their great phones. Even my cousin who's got the iPhone xs likes my xiaomi.
@Space_Novel_Distribution because chinese phones aren’t marketed and sold in the US also maybe because iphones are better in some ways? calm down
@lifeisshørt_420 Canada is part of the US now?
Got a green 1 still usin' it
I scrimped and saved for two years plus, and finally replaced my ageing iPhone 6s Plus 128GB for an iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB. I certainly wasn’t disappointed!
Seeing the RUclips website on the kyocera section brought me back
18:05 “do not attempt”
The windows phone was a good idea and I loved the UI I couldn't believed it failed
They just didn't have app development.
I liked the ui too.
Apps fell short! I loved my Windows Nokia with is great camera but the lack of apps killed it!
The only flat UI I liked.
@Nani Boricua Snapchat was actively taking down every 3rd party snapchat app on windows phones, it's their fault
The Essential Phone could easily fit in this list
I used 2 windows phones when I was growing up. A bully tossed one in the toilet so I got another one.
I definitely liked it way more than android. Nowadays I’m an iPhone user. The sad thing was 100% the app support. All the popular games were never on windows phone

@davelastname8074 eh? Phones rn have 48/64/108mp cameras even some budget phones have 48mp cameras
@davelastname8074 MP count doesnt always mean high quality, unless the software bit and sensor size is done well.
@davelastname8074 the problem is, Nokia 41 MP camera was worse in almost every aspect than 12 MP cameras from apple or Samsung.
I think what Apple really was trying to do with the 5C was make the other iPhone's price look reasonable.
FINALLY someone talking about the Kyocera Echo, my dad had one (I don't know if he ever used it as his main phone) and I was confused when people said that ZTE folding phone was the first one when it wasn't.
My dad actually had a note 7, which started smoking. Luckily no one was hurt
The fact that I forgot about windows phone while watching this until he brought it up tells you how bad it was.
Windows phones were great. I lost my android once and had to use a windows phone and i loved it. Microsoft should have never given up on it.
I believe that Samsung had an extremely brief replacement for the Note 7. It was the Samsung Galaxy Note FE
I was really tempted to switch to windows phone back in the day but as you stated, the app support was the main reason I never went through with it
Aww man, The 5c was my first ever iPhone. I really liked it
Man this video above all else reminded me I’m old haha I remember when most of these were new on TV
Seeing that sprint phone with a surface duo is kinda funny
i've have to admit that the lumia advertising was pretty awesome, even with me seeing it for the first time right now.
Jesus Christ I just got second-hand embarrassment from the Windows Phone ad that was so dreadfully out of touch and cringe
Windows phones were fucking awesome, and I’m willing to die on this hill.
I remember buying Lumio 930 when it was new just to find out that there is no timer. They has to add it in future update as people were complaining and none from the store worked correctly (you had to stay in the app for timer to work) 😂

I loved my Windows Phones. Man, that OS deserved so much better... I switched to iOS in 2018, when Microsoft actually gave up on it, but I want it to be reviewed so badly.
The Windows Phone seriously messed up Microsoft operating systems for the future.
Damn I forgot all about the Amazon phone even though I would always see the commercial in every cartoon channel 😂
The 3d photos actually sounds pretty sick!
Not sick, they just suck.
The 3DS does it way better.
They're sick but in a different context
@TensaZangetsu1200 ditto, if anyone reading this is interested in trying out glassesless 3D and 3D picture-taking the 3DS is probably the best bet for it, and hopefully it's cheap enough by this point that the novelty wearing off quick won't matter
The Note 7 "exploding" labeled every Android phone ever a "bomb" even tho it was litterally ONE phone, not every phone running Android.
Mom can we get a DS
Mom: We have a DS at home
The DS at home: 4:07
Gosh, I remember joking about the Windows phone back in 2014. It was a total disaster, especially aesthetically (Windows 8 itself had just an ugly UI) especially when there were cheaper and nicer alternatives with Android
I was about to get a 5C, but got a 5 because 5C didn't have 32GB version
Was expecting to see Microsoft Kin, Expedia Play and Blackberry 10
I was in middle school when the amazon fire phone was released and I remembered the commercials. you have awoken a distant memory my guy
I was either a freshman or sophomore in high school.
I was in law school back then.
@TheMIBlack Wow! Congratulations!
@BaconFaceMcGee thanks!
@TheMIBlack You’re welcome!
I am little surprised the BlackBerry Storm didn’t make it on this list. That was an absolutely awful phone! I lasted only 3 months with that thing.
I like how you presented this list. It was interesting and I was glued until the end of the video. Contents like these are what makes the smartphone industry be more creative. Great work!
I had the echo. Terrible battery and answering a call on the thing was difficult
I think the note 7 is more deserving of the name “Fire Phone”
I think Lumia 920 was a solid phone. Just the lack of apps killed it. And the UI wasn't really boomer friendly.
Yeah the Note7 was the hottest phone of 2016 🔥
Okay I'll see myself out lol
lol
I was so close to buying the note7 but I decided as I was using an iPhone 6 at the time I would stick to apple and get the iPhone 7
@Bills-xk5nf well you should get andriod phones now
In my opinion I like iOS more as I am more used to it.
@Bills-xk5nf yeah but it also costs way to much money and has bad specs
18:37 The Windows Phones were supposed to be the successor to their product of Zunes, an MP3 M4A type of music radio player similar to the iPod.
i broke my 5s when i was in middle school, so my parents decided to get my little sister an upgrade and gave me her 5c as punishment. Had to use it until 2018 when I finally got a job and bought an 8 plus. Sucked hard couldn't even play pokemon go.
This story got me like 😅😬😔
the HTC 3D didn’t only release in the us. My mother had one in Canada.
Just found ur channel and since been watching all ur vids, keep up the great work
Aww the Note 7, I have a couple of boxes of cases for that phone, bought them before it blew up. Maybe a collectors item some day :)
The Evo 3D was released in the UK too, I'm sure
I remember an ad for amazon fire phone. 😮
Let me just get this clear: The second batch of Galaxy Folds were in no way a disaster. Sure, it wasn't optimised and all, but in no way, it was a disaster. People who actually bought it really enjoyed it.
The fold wasn't perfect but for a first gen I'd say it was pretty damn close....
@nonyabusiness999 Yeah, is was in no way a disaster
@j3sv1n I loved mine and only changed to the fold 2 because I got a good deal otherwise I'd not of changed it..
Not the phone for me but yeah it’s in no way a failure the only dealbreaker I can see is the screen that scratches too goddamn easy
@yeetusdeletus7039 Yeah
i will always and forever love the windows phones
Personally I like the look of the galaxy fold (even if I can’t afford it)
I remember the original Note 7 explosions.
I already know the windows phone is gonna be here
You should do a video on the top 10 most successful smartphones too
Can't imagine why iPhone 5C is considered as a fail here. As a former 5C owner I have a soft spot for it and also the phone itself isn't bad
The 5c was especially a big hit for kids and younger teens
Because overall sales for the 5C were not that good. Compared to figures for other iPhones, it's abysmal. And it wasn't long before carriers started slashing prices on them, and practically (or in the case of a few carriers, literally) giving them away by the time the 6 rolled around.
The problem was that it was only 100$ cheaper than the much better regular iPhone. Had it been like 250$ less it would've been a big hit.
@shulter21 the iPhone should’ve been $300
How in the hell is the BlackBerry storm and the Microsoft Kin not on here?
Can you do a video on the iPad Air 1st Gen in 2021?
Also this is the earliest I’ve been on a video
11:44 OF COURSE IT'S 3D!! You could sell LITERALLY ANYTHING if it said 3D on it! Also HTC could stand for “how the crap”
You should have put the Essential Phone on the list!
i owned the Kyocera Echo and man let me tell you thats a phone i really wanted to love, the battery never bothered me since it came with a 2nd battery and a charging case for it but what ended up breaking it for me was the mediocre camera, no 4G, and no front facing camera. right after this the Nexus S 4G came to Sprint and I just couldn't justify using the Echo as my main driver but it had so much promise.
I actually really like the 5c, I think it’s cool
It didn’t really need to exist though. They could have just sold the 5 for cheaper. And that’s basically what they do now, just offer last year’s model for cheaper alongside the new one.
apple fan boys dindn't like it because "it wasn't premium" , and because it was 100 dollars cheaper , so it hardly had any difference.
@proguy0142 They didn’t like it because you could buy an iPhone 5 which had exactly the same internals and better build quality for the same price...
@HellNaw98 Probably for an even cheaper price.
I had the note 7. Loved it. Kept it till the last possible day
It was a while ago now, but when my mom and I were at an AT&T store, we ran into one of her friends, who was buying a Windows Phone
I feel guilty that I didn't warn her about making a bad purchase...
it made sense since you didn’t wanna feel disrespectful to ur mom
4:37 I still own and use to this day an iPhone 5c, so not a flop for me 😂
Let’s just say that I was ready to and pumped to spend my money on a blue Galaxy Note 7, and I ended up with a gold S7 edge (witch honestly still is the prettiest phone I’ve ever owned in my opinion)
I think the silver titanium S7 edge looks better.
@TechnoGeek209 I actually wanted the black one a friend of mine had the flat small one in black. but they where out of stock. Nice gold it was nevertheless though and I don’t think there’s a color the edge looks bad in tbh
The fact THat I am watching his on an iPhone 5c
I had an HTC Evo 3D. You pretty much nailed it. The 3D was a party trick and the rest of the phone suffered for it. It was so buggy and so slow at times. Real shame because HTC had made some absolutely amazing phones over the years!!
I used to want one so bad back in the day lol.
The thunderbolt was one of my first smartphones I loved it at the time but then again I was a middle schooler lol, my first smartphone was the Motorola Droid X
Not mrwhosetheboss inspired by any chance? 😭😅
Haha he makes some great stuff! I wanted to shake my content up a bit and this was a good way to cover a bunch of interesting phones all at once.
@91Tech no problem still very good content lol
You know he didn’t invent top phone/tech lists, right? Their styles are pretty different
I had Windows Mobile running on an HTC Star Trek. It was great at the time, and meshed well with my work PC. The operating system was intuitive. This is the first phone I recall calling up an internet webpage on.
Ah, the Fire Phone. I've got one of those - paid $5 for it at a flea market. It does actually work pretty well, and the camera isn't bad.
Got it for 60 dollars in 2018:))
@serb0nn rip
I love how you show the ads for the phones, really makes the video a lot better. :D
Someone I know got a Samsung galaxy fold, it broke 2 days after launch.
I really love the window phone os. Silky smooth.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
What about the Facebook phone, that’s considered by many to be the worst phone of all time
How I regret getting the HTC Evo 3d. SMH. Thanks for the video.
I loved the two Windows Phones I had. Still nothing quite like them. It's a shame that there were so few apps and upgrade options.
HTC really was a good cellphone manufacturer back in the day. They had one of the best operating systems ever!
You should have mentioned *NOKIA N9* with *MeeGo Os* . It was not worse phone but could have saved nokia instead of going for Windows.
I'll be honest that Nokia Lumia Ad was the best phone commercial I've ever seen.
I was just barely saved from the Note 7. Divorce caused me to need to delay on upgrading from my Note 4 by a few months during which all that went down.
