Good ranking. I ranked this band about 2 years ago after Fortitude came out. My ranking was similar to yours. It might be different if I revisit them again. I had Fortitude up higher. I really enjoyed that one.
Nice Gojira ranking Tom! I do like this band, but I've been massively put off due to Fortitude because it's so bad! I honestly regret buying it. That said me and my dad got into them with Lefaunt savage and it's a really cool album, and ever since I've wanted to check out more. The first 4 albums are a big priority for me and I'll pick them up in due course. I'm not sure if I'd wanna see them live now, with their new stuff. Great vid man 😊🤘
@@thegreenman4925 You're welcome mate! Yeah that's fair enough man, I really liked the Born for one thing when that dropped, it got me excited for the album. I got it when it came out, listened to it and was so disappointed. It just felt flat and boring at times, like you said didn't pack enough punch. It was very post metal, which I don't like anyway, but there were a couple of songs I liked. Even though I haven't listened to all their albums I know for a fact it'll be bottom! And I'm not interested in seeing what they do in the future now. Ahh nice, I've been recommemded The way of all flesh a few times, I must check it out! Cheers man 😊🤘
Yeah great live band saw them afew times, once supporting trivium when they were touring mars to sirius, then another couple of times, download 2016, and in 2018 i believe when code orange supported them. I totally agree with your ranking too for the most part, i was never able to fully get into there first 2 albums though, i dont know why they never clicked with me, other than that with those 2 being bottom for me i agree 100% with the rest of the placements.
@@thegreenman4925 I believe that was in 2007 at the Hammersmith apollo in London, Trivium were being supported by Gojira and Annihilator, Trivium had just released The Crusade. There was one other band there but I really can't remember there name. Great show though

Thanks Josh! Yeah I didn't think Fortitude was up to their usual standards but still thought it was decent. I think you'd love The Way of All Flesh🤘

I saw them opening for Metallica in 2009 so good.
Amazing band live

Awesome live band. That Trivium gig must have been a while back? 2005/2006?
