- Merry Christmas, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Pilot speaking, my name is Tseno and welcome to a Christmas special episode. This time between the brand new BMW M3 G80 xDrive Competition tuned to 800HP from its unlocked ECU, intercooler and full exhaust system running on ethanol against the well known BMW X3M Competition with similar tune and similar power output from the S58 Engine.
Both cars are running on winter tyres and we will see what difference will the aerodynamics and weight difference bring to the table.

New M3 is gonna crush new C63 in tuning department
Next year are coming New Updates and some very interesting drag races vs stage 2 992ts and other modified cars
The new c63 doesn’t stand a chance even in standard configuration
Even the old C63s has no chance

@@deyanstoyanov9321 I'm not sure the x3/4 will be getting into the 9s with stock turbos. This is at it's limit already of 700tq. And this is the best I've seen out of them. 10.6s in the 1/4. Seems to be about their ceiling without spending massive amounts of money. Like, the modifications to get to 10.6 is fairly cheap. E60 tune and downpipes. But to crack into the 9s? Idk

Change Drivers and the x3 had crossed the line first, even though the numbers had been the same

@@Alex-ls6wl in our conditions we managed the best stock 992 ts time at 10.25, so I will try and arrange a battle between the two, but yeah you are right about my logic 😂 it was bad
@@CarswithPilotTseno do it with summer tires and make me upset)) I ordered i4 m50 and m3 comp x drive, I was going to take one which BMW can produce faster, they told that cars can go to production the same month, I decided to take i4)))
@@Alex-ls6wl On this track stock 992 TS (Cabrio) did best 10.34 but downhill :) ... video from Tseno few episodes back vs McLaren 720s. As soon as it gets warmer, we will arrange a meeting vs stock 992 TS (Coupe), it will be interesting to compare the cars under same conditions.

The difference would've almost been negligible had the same driver done all races. The M3 driver was just that bit quicker to react.

Carwow 600hp m3 xdrive did around 10.4,so this is no way 800hp！ 800hp g80 should be high 9

Nice runs but this vid would be better if it just showed car 1 POV first and then car 2 POV next, instead of switching back and forth gives a headache

Yeah the latest updates of the automatic gearbox make the new m cars more versatile in any conditions

That kind of LAUNCH (as m3comp) should run that "700bhp gtr" which have waay more performance oriented gearbox (dct) .. if the numbers were for real and if the driver would be a person which knows what is about dragrace and have practiced enought. Not for last, if the driver of gtr didn't come.. "to race but in same time to PROTECT own transmission" - i've seen specimens like that at legal and night races😂
I think they gave their best and were using the cars at 100%.

Баси, М3 с 4x4 е направо тлъсто, предишното f80 е с 200 кила по- леко...Представям си ,ако на М3 кабрио сложат 4x4, ще мине 2 тона...Стартовете не бяха чисти- М3 като фаворит ,тръгваше и първи...

Yes! The pre facelift X3M/X4M have different exhaust than M3/M4. But M3 will get little bit modified exhaust and will sound better next time :)

@@kidnapthemoneyy01 I will not push it over this number. Daily I am using just pump around 700hp.
This is enough for Stage 2.
Soon we will just build the engine (new rods and pistons) and will go for set of g25-660 turbos. Gearbox upgrade too.

Pretty slow 1/4 mile times for an m3 with 800hp
You are crazy, I think low 10 sec is brutal for any car, at least to my perception 😂
M3 Xdrives With 720 whp doing the 1/4 in 9.8. I myself only have a Daehler piggy back with no bolt ons and pump gas and saw 10.65
@@caribbeanseas keep in mind Winter tires, 1% uphill is Not mentioned and No prep surface. On drag strip the Car will do easy 9s 😉
Btw Just with Manhart no buckets and Carbon brakes the Car did 10.72 and friend of mine with buckets did 10.68. So it is all about the conditions. Most of the "record" runs on RUclips are stripped out cars with kill maps, which are Not driven Daily...
I agree. Now way this M3 has 800 actual hp, inflated numbers. Even with winter tires, it would have broken into the 9’s.

I will try my best, but bear in mind these are owner cars and they decide how many starts they want to do.

No around 750-800 is right for this time the car has made! All good also for the M3 it‘s right with the heavy seats and no ceramic brakes! So all good. Don‘t listen to people who drives Lada at home😉
So you’re better off either showing one point of view conpletely than the other OR you can mix but make sure the timeline unchanged. So camera 1 1min 10 to 1min 20 then camera 2 from its 1min 20 and continue on. Try and avoid going back to say 1min 10 on camera 2.

I think the driver in the x3m has slow reaction. And what's the drag is about even the though the m3 is fast as it is lighter too
