Moonlight sonata is great for begginers especially the third movement.
HAHAHAH I know right
Totally
yeah too easy
I love playing the first movement😁
😂😂😂😂
I recommend Hungarian Rhapsody, extremely easy warm up piece which you can do before chopsticks
EZ
not really
Yeah it's more of a beginner piece...chopsticks on the other hand😓
@Ling I thought 6x faster
I’m learning that now and it’s safe to say it’s about on par with 3 blind mice
My favorite is moonlight Sonata . Whenever I see a piano , I wish I could just sit down and play that one piece
I would recommend you to listen to more Beethoven Sonatas, btw.
@@fatitankeris6327 which one exactly? moonlight sonata may be overplayed but its so beautiful
@@mmonalysa Usually the 1st mvt. Other two are a bit of a mistery to many, but less overplayed and more dynamic.
@@mmonalysa sonata no 8 and 17 are some pretty popular and amazing ones
@@alexaben6299 will check those out! thanks for recommendations
I have easy piece recommendations:
Liszt's Mazeppa Etude, and Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 3
Chopin's Winter wind and revolutionary etude are also quite easy
oh u got me
Ravel Gaspard de la nuit and Chopin double thirds.
Canon in D
3:25 Two hands
moonlightsonata
5:00 First measure
5:21 Second measure
5:28 Third measure
6:14 The above with both hands
6:57 Fourth measure
8:47 from the beginning nice and slow
19:16 Prelude in C
Thank you very much, much appreciated!
It's not canon in d. It's canon in d major.
Still remember the first time play moonlight sonata 1st movement...so beautiful until I discovered 3rd movement.
Yeah, I kind of understand what he feels on that time.
Bruh moonlight sonata is just what mainstream ppl will truly love, in the classical world it is just a lil dot,
Lisa, you've opened up an entire "New World" for me. To say that, your personality, is perfection in the realm of instruction is a vast understatement my friend. I can honestly say that you're the "Best" piano Instructor, I've ever seen, on RUclips. Thank you so much for all of your time, efforts and "Inspiration"; my interest (in Piano) has peaked to a new high.
You are a very good piano teacher. Hope you get 1 million subscribers 😊😊
Won’t be too long now :)
🙌
I agree so much .. you are delightful..
And So positive.. really enjoy your lessons , but mostly your making it a lot of fun, :)
Everyone knows Franz Liszt is the EASIEST composer
Definitely
If u can’t play at LEIST capanella, you are not good pianist.
😆😆
Nah. Debussy is easier. Claire de Lune. Suuuuper easy. 😂😂😂

Prelude I in C Major was the first classical song I learned and memorised entirely. It will always hold a special place with me and is one of my favs to play. It was great to see it in your video as everyone learning to play classical piano should give that song a go. Cheers.
Really appreciate it! Thanks for the kind words!
Been playing by ear for over 50 years. Like someone has possessed me. Now it's time to learn theory. So grateful for these wonderful channels, people like this lovely woman who so generously shares her knowledge and passion for music.
Prelude in C Major sounds sooo beautiful and sophisticated! I’m yet to learn Canon in D though - it sounds great too.
Thanks so much for the great selection!
You can play Canon in C major instead of D if you want, it's easier to play that way.
@@trevorjameson3213 good suggestion. I know the chord progression in C and have been improvising over the last few weeks. But want to learn a proper version, too...
Canon in D is pathetic, especially to string players
@@randomcubing7106 wholeheartedly agree. Violinist here and this is such an OVERPLAYED piece.
Thank you "Pianote ".Thank you Lisa. Great piano lesson.
You are an excellent teacher-knowledgeable, caring, slow-paced,
very enthusiastic and highly motivating!
Thank you! All of these are lovely--Moonlight Sonata appeals to me most but I can see learning all of them. Your enthusiasm is inspiring 🌺.
Thank you so much for these free tutorials and music sheets. It really helps for those who can’t afford professional piano classes 😅 really appreciate it!! 😁
when you've been practicing moonlight sonata for 20 hours and it finally starts coming along... and then you stumble upon a YT video "here's this super easy piece any beginner can learn in 30 minutes"
I’m also playing it! I learnt like the first 1 minute of the first movement in a day and a half with memorising it.
Yeah, I learned the beginning of it on an impulse at 1am once, in about 15-20 minutes 😂
😀😂😂
@@sarahwright4811 lol Relatable
Thanks a lot lisa..Absolutely loved it..😍...Thanks a lot Pianote for sharing those precious music sheets for free..U guys are absolutely amazing..💗
You are very welcome!
All of these are really hard for a beginner like me, but this video motivated me to keep practicing. Thanks Lisa and the Pianote team🎹💖
Just about time! I’m starting to learn classical like canon (in C) and the prelude.. non of them turned out good when I’m playing lol but I want to try again your version now. Thank you Lisa :)
They will turn out great for you. It just takes committed practice, every single day. Keep at it!
I AM REALLY APPRECIATIVE ABOUT THE EASY PIANO ARRANGEMENTS AS AN AMATEUR WHO ALWAYS FACES PROBLEM ON FINDING CORRECT PIECES AND CORRECT ARRANGEMENTS. I THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR GREAT APPROACH TO TEACHING.
You are very very welcome!
Lisa inspired many people who want to play piano, thx Lisa🥰
Gorgeous pieces! Thank you so much! I think like you I like the Johann Sebastian Bach - "Prelude I In C Major" the most. But all are beautiful! You shared Fur Elise earlier and I have enjoyed learning that, so now I get to learn these too. So much fun!
I love that. It helps people with the coordination of their hands
Dear Lisa,
I've wanted to play the piano since I was a kid, and now since last Thursday, I finally own my very own piano ♥️ That day I stumbled upon your videos, and I must say they have helped me immensely. I know where to begin now, what to practise, and being a stubborn little devil, already managed to learn the first song!
I feel like me and many others owe you so much for sharing all this musical wisdom for free, and I will continue honoring your gift by practising every day, and sharing everything I learn with fellow music lovers.
May whatever spirits rule this Earth bless you forever!
New to Piano Lessons… You inspired me to go get one and learn. Thank you
Perfect timing. I've started to work on the cover of Canon in D just a couple of days ago. Thank you. 😉
Very happy to help!
Hi, Lisa ! Again, another excellent explanation and demonstration on the (real) classic music ! Very didatic in a simple way !
Great teacher, as always ! God bless you !
This woman is sooooo adorable she makes everything ezzz .. thank you for the content 💜
She looks both like a college student and a 40+ teacher who was hit by her mid-age crisis😂
Ah yes, we've got the four most famous composers of all time: Franz Liszt, Amadeus Mozart, Johann Pachelbel, and Lisa Witt.
hahahaha its a winning combination!
Wrong!!
Moonlight Sonata is Beethoven, lol, but I like your list!😂🤣🥰💖
@@richellmcknight446 you mean you liked his Liszt?
👌
Beautiful!! Thank You! ❤️
Bach‘s „Prelude in C Major“ is one of my all time favourites and I love to play it. It is quite easy and sounds absolutely beautiful. And for the ones who do not know: It is the base of the famous „Ave Maria“. ;-)
It’s so nice that you provide the sheet music in so many of your videos, thank you!
Wow, you are truly an amazing teacher! Love how you go about it - it’s really helping to compliment the lessons I’m taking. Thank you
Such a good teacher,,, very easy to follow, clear and a fun teacher. You’ll be my permanent piano teacher for a very long time. Thank you very much
Moonlight Sonata has always been my favorite. I played it ok for years, but just the first movement. I am in my 60s now and have just returned to the piano since I retired. Thank you for your video and maybe now I can learn to play it fluently! Thank you.
Your lessons are really great.
I really enjoy them, thank you 😊
I love all three. My parents (keep in mind, I’m 67) subscribed to Readers Digest music in the 1960s, which included 10 albums of classical piano music which included these three pieces. And so, they are permanently ingrained in my memory.
Moonlight Sonata was THE piece that brought me out of a 40 year slump, and it was Lisa who retaught it to me by way of her full tutorial on the piece. That was also the first Pianote video I ever saw and I'm so glad it came up quite unexpectedly in my YT feed. My problem now is that my fingers are not as nimble as they once were so I really appreciate these slower classical pieces. I'm also envious of her ability to know instantly what chord or key she is playing in like it's intuitively obvious. I always go, Huh? whenever people do that. Yes, I know, it's probably a lot easier than I think it is, so I've got my work cut out for me, but learning music now is a lot more fun than it was when I was young, and I credit that entirely to Lisa and her YT videos.
Loved it! You're the best! thank you
Thank you for these lessons for songs idk how will I learn without you guys!
Love every moment learning so much thank you
Thank you for the video AND music sheet!! That’s awesome!!
Hi Lisa, I recently started learning piano, and thanks to your video, I was be able to play song Imagine and this is my second video learning new songs. I get very motivated when I hear the beautiful sound. I really appreciate all your videos! I am learning the first song in this video Canon in d, I got two hands playing fine, but when I was trying to two hands together, it was very difficult. It would be really nice for you to show us newbies how to play two hands together in details! I love all your videos showing us how to play songs, hopefully you can post more videos like this!❤
Thank you for sharing this information. You’re a great teacher.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing! 😊💕👍
Thank you so much! We appreciate your efforts.
I am working on Canon in D, hard for a newbie like me but it is so satisfying as it is starting to sound decent. Thank you!
Glad to help!
Thank you!
Your enthusiasm is inspiring. If only you had been my music teacher. I'm 69 years old and think music is one of the most important pleasures there is. It’s value is so underrated. It doesn’t matter what genre you like or play, if it works for you, play it and live it. Thank you.
I’ll surely practice Canon in D. Thanks, Pianote (Miss Lisa). 🙏🏻
Lisa you make learning the piano so fun and easy!! ... I kept smiling and laughing alongside. Chord progression is a sure way to look at the whole script! Great work! 💃🔥
Thanks for watching!
Very nice and my fav piano piece Canon in D

Thank you for another great video. As a self taught beginner I love cannon in D and am a third a way through as I'm also learning other tunes/ songs. There's just not enough hours in the day😅
i agree!! wish i could freeze time when playing piano
Thank you so much 💖
Great lesson ! Thanks for the encouragement.
Thanks for this PDFs it really helped MAm lisa💖💖💖
This video will be my next Pianote study and practice guide. Right now, I'm still working on the inversions and arpeggios and scales that you've taught us. Thank you!!!! 😊
very glad to hear! see you soon!!
Thank you Lisa for showing some of the fingering. It's very helpful for beginners like me.
A chord progression? That's a great way to look at that!!!
The Bach piece is more of a series of short chord progressions. That's one way to view it anyway.
its all about new perspectives!
Thank you so much😍😍😍😍 I've always wanted to play Canon in D for real (yeah! I've played it on piano tiles a lot of times😂), and it isn't that hard at all. Thank youuuu!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year y'all! Sending love😍
Thank you so much!! It really helps a lot and learned a lot!
Super nice! thank you!
Lisa u r an absolute gem💎.... U r making my piano journey so much easier and beautiful, thank u thank u thaaaank u❤❤
You are an inspiring piano teacher. You remind me of how much fun playing the piano can be. I have always loved to play but now I am excited to sit and try these new songs and practice drills. You mention you have the transcripts of the pieces available but how can I access them? Thank you so much!
Are you having a laugh she cannot tell the different beteen a song and piece of music. I puts me right off when a person does that.
Moonlight Sonata is one of my favourite pieces of music ever. So beautiful. If it was all Beethoven had ever written I'd still say he made one of the greatest contributions to music ever. But of course there is so much more. I love modern music for sure. However, classical music is amazing! I feel it differently. These composers were creating musical art. Astonishing!
I'm glad you're looking at more classical music. Thank you :)
more to come too!
Thank you for this video! I just startet playing with notes and this is so helpful! ✨🦋
Thanks😊
Ive just bought a keyboard and always wanted to learn moonlight sonata .ive just found your channel and find your instruction so good . Thanks very much .

I don’t know why I’m in tears the first time I’m able to play this piece 😔
At that time, I was just starting playing piano, maybe grade one and two
I love your content. Thank you.

Thanks ,your vids really help me a lot ,I appreciate what u do ,MAY god bless your
Thank you so much
I usually like to play the 3rd movement of moonlight sonata as a warmup for the 1st movement as it is the easiest of the three.
Moonlight Sonata was always my favorite and has been my goal to one day play that piece.
Thanks a lot!!
Nice...! 😊👍👍👍
love these three... also love Pathétique 2nd
This is absoluetly great .....very nice

I’m taking lessons and using you’re videos to keep things interesting, thank you.
THANK YOU so so much for the piano sheets provided!!
Its SO DIFFICULT to find free sheets on youtube and i always get frustrated having to learn a song by replaying the video over and over.
Thanks for all your effort~ You have one new sub today :)
Do a "free music" search on Google. Then you'll find sites that provide the music Lisa plays. Then just print them off.
