I loved all the things you found. While you were walking around in first warehouse with a lot of furniture items, you showed a wooden child’s sled on a bench. I had one of those sleds when I was a child and I was face down and hit my chin on ice. Anyway, I got a lifelong scar from sledding on one of those wooden sleds. Lol. I was with my older siblings and they let me slide down the river edge. After that my parents wouldn’t let me play on it again. Lol.

We were lucky to visit the Tuscany region in May 2022. We visited many charity shops and flea markets and brought home some beautiful treasures. I hope to one day visit again.

My favorite among your acquisitions are the Missoni and Schiaparelli scarves. Excellent finds! The ginger jar is pretty, you could keep it, in China they are always bought in pairs. About your hand mirrors, I own two of them, as well. Europe must have been inundated with them from the South to the North, where I live. They are most likely German or do you have more precise information of their provenance? I have been collecting art nouveau objects, nowadays more Finnish vintage glass of the 50s and 60s. I put this one beside the one I had, and they are so cute together, they seem mother and daughter, I think I will follow your advice and keep them both. I don't know the provenance of the Art Nouveau style hand mirror, they are not super common here in Italy, but I've seen others online, always from european sellers. I will keep on doing research and maybe I'll discover where they come from! Of course I would love to have a look at your collections, maybe one day I will start a facebook page where everybody can post pictures of their finds, it will be very interesting, don't you think?
