Alyssa is such a great pickup for The View. I tend to lean towards the Democrat party, but truly appreciate a voice like hers - she has a way to deliver her opinion and views without the attack and contentiousness we're used to. Very refreshing and informative. She comes with facts and knows her stuff.

I can't wait for the View to have just a diverse points of views were no one even comments how they like someone with different views than their own. It really speaks to polarization in America that it's a treat to meet someone nice who has very different views from their own.

Watch Democracy Now!‘s coverage of the climate crisis since he took office, he is still allowing fossil fuel projects to expand with no plans to go on renewables or to cap emissions. Angie look at the most recent UN climate report, and if that’s not enough the UN secretary general I said that we’re not doing enough. In fact I believe he said we have our foot to the gas pedal as if nothing was happening. I’m paraphrasing heavily there but you can look it up.

I think what such a moment reveals is not just how close and comfortable they are to one another to ask such a question on national TV, but also what an incredible good sport Alyssa is to react as she did. She's been open in the past (several times) about starting a family before, along with discussing other personal experiences, and it's that openness that permits someone such as Whoopi a feeling of ease to ask such a question. Alyssa didn't take it wrong and seemed to have enjoyed the moment, and neither did the panel or audience, so why should ANYONE in this comment section be so critical? ... Go, Whoopi. Go, Alyssa, the best, most intelligent, most knowledgeable, conservative representative they have likely ever had.
I totally agree with you. Sometimes when you're comfortable with someone, professionalism goes out the window. This to me is an example of how close and comfortable the women are to each other.
Not gunna lie, not that Alyssa LOOKS pregnant but when she came back, it could have been the vacation or a new skincare thing, but I asked myself if she was pregnant too because she has this new glow to her. Its not about weight, she looks the same there and is thin, its just...yea I can see why whoopi asked.

What whoopi says about the younger generation needs to get involved then… it’s kind of hard when you have a machine of older people with tons of donors giving them huge amounts of money, effectively buying their seats and issues of voter suppression almost other reasons why it’s hard for younger generations to get a foot in the door into politics, Sara is right we speak of diversity and representation yet younger people should get that right too 😊

@@Little-Dude I agree, I remember when the topic was Katie porter wanting to run for Diane Feinsteins seat and I remember sunny specifically saying that Katie didn’t get a blessing to run and Diane is a “icon” basically, I can’t remember exact wording, but that kind of view is ridiculous, no one is heir apparent to a role and the idea because you’re older and had the role for so long requires some sort of special treatment is ridiculous, and this feeds into the idea that younger people have very little chance to get involved, there’s differences between respecting wisdom and older generations and giving others chances and options 😊

I don’t agree with Mitt Romney’s politics, but from way back in the day I’ve always liked the guy, like Sunny said, he’s a thoroughly decent likeable man. I remember when he was debating Obama, again I didn’t agree with anything he said, but I knew he’s someone you could have a respectable mature conversation with regardless of what party you support.

As a rabid liberal, I find Alyssa the most intelligent, poised, and articulate View co-host. It's not a criticism of the others, but sometimes I struggle to follow what Whoopi is trying to say, often shrouded in an ocean of non-specific generic words.
