What an incredible production this was and she did it just months after the assassination. Jacqueline Kennedy was a great American hero who helped this country heal and remember and enshrine into history the story of a great American and the promise of a better truly great America that died with him.

Harvard evidently did not want the JFK Library as it was subsequently relocated to Columbia Point in the Dorchester section of the city of Boston. Mrs. Kennedy did a commendable job in this video,

God bless President Kennedy & Jackie. When we had respect for the man, & the man had respect for us & our country. Thosee days are a distant memory.

There is something about her voice that makes me instantly feel melancholy, and sad. I'm not one to live in the past, but it's hard to imagine the POTUS these days getting the love seen here in Berlin and Mexico.

That Grey Gardens accent is eerie. I have to wonder if it's still around.

President Hoover and President Kennedy were the only 2 presidents who refused a salary while serving as President of the US. They donated their salaries to charity. Kennedy also donated the 14 years of salary he earned as a Congressman and as a Senator to various charities.

We'll never see another era like Kennedy's. A loss still felt today.

Growing up in the 1980s in Berkeley, CA, my elderly African-American neighbors had pictures of both MLK jr and JFK on their living room walls. They would always tell me that JFK was not only the greatest American president, but he was also the last.

Oh Yes. I remember every moment of my Younger self,a new teen ,a Horrified Young citizen.
Remember ,Lest We Forget. JFKs grandson made a Heart felt Speech at the 2024 Democratic Convention. He Never knew his Grandfather but he Reveres what He stood for in America .
How Distressed he would be with what is Happening in America today. The ride of Fascism he Fought against and bore the Wounds he suffered the rest of his life.
How can One man Provoke such hate for America and its Citizens?
We must Uphold the Dignity of American Democracy. 🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲✌️🙏😢🗽

How hard it must have been for JBK to talk about the working retirements of Ike, Truman and Hoover while she was a widow at 34.
