@@oldschoolzoomer2633 not only that. The original hair will most likely always fall out over time. Finasterid only enlarges this period. @@DarkFreezeRedsea It's actually a really slow process to go fully bald for most men. Most guys on this channel just got hit with an aggressive form at a very young age, and it isn't "always inevitable" that's why there are scales to measure the severity of hair loss. Idk If I really lose my hair I would definitely shave it, but I don't think I would have to until my late 30s to early 40s.
Back in 2020, during the lockdown, I decided to shave my head completely bald, even using a razor and shaving cream to take everything off. I figured if I didn't like the look no one would ever see it and I had plenty of time to grow it back before I would be out in public again. Well, liked the feeling of it so much that I have kept my head completely shaved ever since, who cares what it looks like and I don't exactly have the prettiest head. I can still grow hair, although it was getting thin, but I just choose not to. I like being bald, cool in the summer and hats are more comfortable in the winter, no more dandruff or itchy scalp, and I will never go back to having hair. One less thing to worry about.
What so many men go through with our balding hair is really a test by God to see if we can rise above our superficial attachments and become a higher level overall happier being.
Pretty sure God has more important things to test people’s faith than men’s hair loss. Like oh maybe war, famine, disease, natural disasters, Death etc. If you really thing he sat down and said ‘hmm I’m gonna make a bunch of randos go bald just to see if they can become higher level beings’, then you probably need to talk to someone in a white lab coat who has several degrees and enjoys a challenge.

This guy looks better with a shaved head in my opinion. Decent beard too. Either he should go down to a 0 or have some smp to fill in some of the donor spot scars from the hair transplant and a fill in a bit on the top
even with a hair transplant you need to take finasteride daily preferably as soon as you start thinning and get on minoxidil and you have to do this for rest of your life it has to become part of your daily routine which is why most guys get of it and lose all of their hair.
I shaved my hair off fully 2 years ago now. I always had it longish but as it thinned and I stared receding I started getting self conscious. I tried many ways of styling it to hide the fact but my hair was always naturally fine so it just looked like I was hiding it. when I finally "gave in" and shaved it off it was like a weight off my chest! I gained so much confidence and it literally changed my life. it may seem like an exaggeration but it's really not. It's one of the best decisions I ever made. The first week I shaved it off I received so many genuine compliments. If you are receding or balding just try it, if you don't like it you can grow it out butIi guarantee you wont want to.
Brother look into "Scalp Micro Pigmentation" for those scars on the back of your head. There are some amazing SMP artists that can fix that up to look undetectable.
That's exactly what happened to me I had a hair transplant and got good results, but after a few years the hair started thinning and now I shave it! And I also got the scars on the back of my head that I fixed with the SMP
@@Dah42 No, the transplanted hair does not fall out but my hair in general became much weaker and thinner and I decided to shave it all off and it was the best decision I ever made
If you watch any of dr. Gary Linkovs videos on hair transplants, he always say that the transplant is not a one-and-done solution. You have to take medication like Finasteride for the rest of your life to try keep everything like it was right after the transplant. If you don't take medication after, it will most likely "fail" at some point, and you will be stuck with the transplanted hair and other hair falling out. 😣
You should only get a hair transplant when you're on Finasteride and it has stopped your hair loss. Hair transplant doesn't stop hair loss so it's inevitable you will continue to lose hair after it if you are losing it. Taking Finasteride after you've already lost more makes no sense, it's too late by then.
SMP would work to disguise the donor area and you can truly design your own hairline. I just got an FUE transplant 2 days ago and the doctors made sure I knew to continue with topical finasteride or minoxidil to save the rest of my existing hair.
I thought it was pretty obvious it would all fall out again. Feel sorry for these young guys fretting about hair loss. I've shaved it all off and never ever think about it
That guy had the same baldness pattern as mine right now: a solid hairline but with very thin hair. I also have to wash it every day if I don't want my scalp to be too visible. I'm considering buzzing it all off once I lose 4 or 5 kg (to have a more chiseled face)
regarding not washing hair, and grease formation. It takes about 10 weeks for your hair to naturally condition itself if you stop washing it with shampoo. After 10 weeks (water only) hair is naturally conditioned, not greasy, and will remain that way (maybe not for everyone)
The hair transplant dots look good on his shaved head. I remember hearing about how there was a huge difference in looks and projected youth between a guy with hair that shaves (Beckham) to a pure bald head.
@@zubair7698 mine was done when they removed larger grafts. After that they cut out strips . Both left scars but now the way they do them is to remove very small grafts and the scars are tiny. Maybe three hairs wide. It depends on how much they take as to what it will look like but I’d say most people who grow their hair even a 1/4 inch can’t tell. If you shave your head then you may see them.
My hair is exactly what this guy said except I haven't done a hair transplant. I have told my family this week I am going full Bruce Willis no matter what in a few months. Its that planning it is one thing and taking the step is taking time. But I am determined. It is really affecting my confidence.
The transplanted area looks strong and didn’t fall out! Looks like the rest of the hair he didn’t FUE is thinning out! That’s what happens if you don’t do the other areas like the crown etc.
Finasteride slows down the loss of hair, but doesn't regrow any. Minoxidil dilates the blood vessels leading to the hair follicle aiding to regrow hair
Scalp micropigmentation is what you need. Also, a skilled tattooist can match the lighter scar tissue with the rest of your skin. This will look great - do it!
@@nathanweinstein2766 Then someone touches your "hair" and notices you have none lol. Just shave it off and own it, I 5 years worth of hair down to below my scapulaes and just shaved it all off, much better and free
I also got a hair transplant 5 years ago. I got it at a very early age so the hair that had not fallen out then shed in the next 5 years. I started thinning again. Eventually, I shaved my head. It feels better but I am insecure about the scar behind my head.
I've had my hair transplant (25 yo) to shave my head and look decently enough, just to recover hairline which I lost back when I was 16-17. I always wanted to be able to have a short haircut that looks good, so HT + SMP worked wonders
I just had my transplant done a couple weeks ago for the same reason. With smp i look great! Hoping it lasts for awhile. No finasteride plus i can use body Hair in the future since Im keeping my hair short
@@ragnarlodbrok1233 scalp micropigmentation. Basically a tattoo but not as deep in skin (usually as there's so-called "permanent" one as well). It looks quite natural especially when you have some hair preserved. So you just shave like 1-3mm and having SMP underneath it looks like shaved full of hair head. Tho a lot of completely bald dudes get SMP and look awesome as well
@Road to Recovery not sure who ur asking but I’m currently one month into my transplant and even in the shedding phase I look better than before with just smp. I got my grafts placed on the hairline. If you need crown work I would say wait it out with smp as the hairline is most important for transplant. Make sure you go to a great clinic as having short hair with a transplant is very risky and hard to hide any mistakes. And be careful with temples as the hair on back of head is a lot thicker than normal temple hair when cut short
@Road to Recovery I was NW2 with some hairline recession which didn't look good with very short haircuts. So I got my temples recovered. Agreed that you have to be careful with thick hair in frontal zone as that's the case for me. Tho I'm super happy with the results. 2000 grafts for hairline lowering and looking dense is very efficient. I've had a partial shaved FUE in Turkey. I'm going to have a second planned procedure in a few months for a touch-up with the same doc
Bro. You look better bald !! You have a good head shape. You just own it. What guard do you use? I’m still hesitant to shave my head! But it’s coming lol.
I took a bus from NYC to Boston years ago and the man in front of me had a very ugly scar across the back of his head. Obviously from a many years ago bad hair transplant. He was still balding but the scar was very very noticeable. If only he had just shaved his head to begin with. Now he has that scar forever and he is still bald.
I'm always being bullied at work because of my receding hairline. Their making fun of my hair really takes away my confidence. I heard a story of someone who resulted to suicide because of the same exact situation as I do. I hope that everyone treats everyone with respect and kindness. Because making fun of someone's physical characteristics doesn't make anyone better. It's actually demotivating and self-destructing.
Unfortunately I’m in the same boat. Got my hair transplant done last year and my results are mediocre. If you don’t plan on taking finasteride after your hair transplant then don’t even consider getting a hair transplant. I lost a lot of money because of this procedure. At this point I’m just going to take my Loss and start shaving my head too

I don't know why you are surprised. It is clear that your remaining hair will continue to fall out. To ensure this, take finasteride or the light variant Sawpalmetto. If the transplanted hairs are taken from the permanent zone they are DHT resistant. And by the way, Turkey has some of the best clinics for this. But also many black sheep among them.therefore of course before well inform.
He got a hair transplant at the front of his head obviously the rest is going to go ( the parts he didn’t get transplanted ) that were fine at the time, that’s why it’s better to basically wait until your bald for a hair transplant
My suggestion may sound strange but getting FUT mixed with beard and body hair transplant will give full density now and you can still do a FUE in future if you loose more hair. That will leave a scar though not allowing you to shave in future but definitely you will have full head of hair.
Micro pigmentation of donor area works really well

Dutasteride 0.5mg per day might have been better as it blocks DHT better than Finasteride at 90% compared to 70% but it is too late now. Finasteride did nothing for me. My hair loss didn't stop until I switched to Dutasteride.
They should have put you on a protocol of propecia and oral minoxidil. People should be made aware that there's a big commitment to keeping your hair if you opt for a transplant. At least you can do SMP to fill in the rest. You look good bald though.
How is this even possible? even the transplanted hairs look thinned out.. It's logical you'll lose ore hair post transplant if you don't take Finasteride but here it looks like all the hairs thinned out
His mistake was not going on finasteride after the hair transplant. He should've used topical finasteride if he didn't want to take the pills. Since he didn't go on anything to preserve the hairs he had prior to the hair transplant, All those hairs continued thinning.

What advice can you give to someone who is bald for 6 years now and still don’t accept it ? I never go out without a hat or else. The problem Is not the look of other people , I always dress and look good for myself and I can’t accept the bald on me
I am balding since 2012. Used to shave my hair off and it looked good untill my hairline totally disapeared. This year, I needed to shave it every single day because all I am left with is the crown. Bro, if you don't want to shave your hair, you need to try it. It looks f-ing amazing !
Well I expect if we had a serious conversation about it things would likely get deep as you’d need to explore the reason of what it is about it you can’t accept. Honestly my best advice would be to speak to someone about it that can help you figure that out. 🤝
Its a really tricky situation because you need to have a really good donor area for a 2nd HT. After 2 HT's your donor could end up overharvested. Maybe even 2 HT's wont be enough for thickness.

If you watch Dr. Gary Linkov, he says that you should and "need" to take Finasteride for the rest of your life to keep what you have after a transplant. If you don't you will only continue to lose more hair in the future.
You go ahead and overcome it. I'll message in 18 months after I get back from Vera Clinic in Turkey and let you know how I'm doing.
Pretty sure God has more important things to test people’s faith than men’s hair loss. Like oh maybe war, famine, disease, natural disasters, Death etc. If you really thing he sat down and said ‘hmm I’m gonna make a bunch of randos go bald just to see if they can become higher level beings’, then you probably need to talk to someone in a white lab coat who has several degrees and enjoys a challenge.
is incredible that we are in 2022 and we dont have a 100% infalible solution to hair loss. We as society shouldnt be suffering with this shit at this point
There is but cures don't keep people coming back. Thats why the pharmaceutical companies and filthy rich. They would go out of business if cures came out for anything. Trust me, there is a cure for hair loss and cancer. But they won't allow it to exist.

I think I'm still ok, but will probably shave at 30. I'm just hoping I can sustain it till I'm married
This guy looks better with a shaved head in my opinion. Decent beard too. Either he should go down to a 0 or have some smp to fill in some of the donor spot scars from the hair transplant and a fill in a bit on the top
He should do scalp micro pigmentation on the back. It will look much better on the fue scars
You look really good, Aman! You made the right choice.
even with a hair transplant you need to take finasteride daily preferably as soon as you start thinning and get on minoxidil and you have to do this for rest of your life it has to become part of your daily routine which is why most guys get of it and lose all of their hair.
Cant I just do additional hair transplant if I lose more? Pills with sides for the rest of my life is a big no no
Jealous of that lush beard tbh. It's immaculate!
That's exactly what happened to me
I had a hair transplant and got good results, but after a few years the hair started thinning and now I shave it!
And I also got the scars on the back of my head that I fixed with the SMP
But did you take finasteride or not?
@@JK-wm8ig I didn't take any of the drugs because of the side effects
But did you actually lose the hair that was transplanted?
This is exactly me. But I’m gonna take finasteride after my transplant. I’ll take my chances because I’m just 28 and really struggling with life.
@@Dah42 No, the transplanted hair does not fall out
but my hair in general became much weaker and thinner
and I decided to shave it all off and it was the best decision I ever made
If you watch any of dr. 😣
Just do another ht?
You should only get a hair transplant when you're on Finasteride and it has stopped your hair loss.
Hair transplant doesn't stop hair loss so it's inevitable you will continue to lose hair after it if you are losing it.
Taking Finasteride after you've already lost more makes no sense, it's too late by then.
Just do another ht?
@@ottokimpi you only have so much hair to transplant.
Back of the head just looks like a hair cut, nothing to worry about and the shit at the front more than makes up for it...looks good.
so many men looks amazing with a shaved head and you do also, just embrace it
And for the people who take hair transplant it isn't a permanent solution.
You need to keep taking finestaride in order to prevent further hair loss.
Gyno
It doesnt need to be permanent solutionXD I just want good hair when im in my prime 25-35, hair now is worth more than it is when youre 40
I'm considering buzzing it all off once I lose 4 or 5 kg (to have a more chiseled face)
i thought, i am the only one that washes my hair everyday, I wash it everyday, so my hair looks full
He looks great! Good on him for his transparency
He’s actually left with a really good result. If i was getting a hair transplant i would also shave it relatively low, it looks dope
Yep, it’s look 100% natural but the SMP anybody can tell it’s fake now days bc its so known and popular now!
regarding not washing hair, and grease formation.
You are very handsome with or without hair.
I embraced being bald and still am thinking of having a hair transplant just for the buzz look and hairline at the front
Imagine a world without mirrors. Your idea of what you look like would never change, how much happier would we all be
Wow great comment
Look just as good if not better with the buzz head. Lucky you are tall and have a good face! 💯 I am sure women still checking you out!
Regret mine too. I can’t shave completely because of the scars on back but honestly no one will notice yours. You look great!
Is the scarring a normal side effect? I'm on, the fence about a hair transplant
@@briano672 I think you can tattoo fake hairs on scalp to hide scars?
Shave it completely bald dude you will love it👍
Scalp micropigmentation is what you need. Also, a skilled tattooist can match the lighter scar tissue with the rest of your skin. This will look great - do it!
But dye color will change over time in the head because of the sunlight.

What's smp?

The subtle line on the back of his head actually looks cool. The only people that probably notice or care are he and his wife.
It's not a line. It is diffuse thinning over the entire back of his head.

Being dark complected it works better with SMP or fully shaved down.
This video popped up on my feed. I didn’t get a chance to view it till the end. But there are a lot of options now to minimize the donor scars so it doesn’t stand out. - SMP is one or transplanting body/ beard/ scalp hair into the scars. Just FYI in case it helps.

I don't know why you are surprised. It is clear that your remaining hair will continue to fall out. To ensure this, take finasteride or the light variant Sawpalmetto. If the transplanted hairs are taken from the permanent zone they are DHT resistant.

Micro pigmentation of donor area works really well
So, this is very informative, thank you! Where exactly in Turkey did he get his transplant done? There are thousands of clinics over there. That's really crucial to know.

You may write to me through my channel info if you need any sort of medical-related guidance. Great video !!
I think the transplant makes him look great with a shaven head. The hairline gave his face definition.
after 1 1/2 years he started losing his other original hair. He basically needed another hair transplant surgery because altho the hair they put in was solid and still there he other original hair was still falling
Its a really tricky situation because you need to have a really good donor area for a 2nd HT. After 2 HT's your donor could end up overharvested. Maybe even 2 HT's wont be enough for thickness.

I can only imagine how much it must suck to lose your hair, but at least take solace in the fact that the way you have your hair now looks good. It doesn't even look like you went bald. It just looks like you chose your current hairstyle because you like how it looks.

It's logical you'll lose ore hair post transplant if you don't take Finasteride but here it looks like all the hairs thinned out
Yeah pretty weird, my friend who doesnt even take meds has great results after ht
It's refreshing and also sad to see men obsess with their looks. He is a handsome man either way.
His mistake was not going on finasteride after the hair transplant. He should've used topical finasteride if he didn't want to take the pills. Since he didn't go on anything to preserve the hairs he had prior to the hair transplant, All those hairs continued thinning.

Shave it?
I am balding since 2012. Used to shave my hair off and it looked good untill my hairline totally disapeared. This year, I needed to shave it every single day because all I am left with is the crown.
