Mine started at 25. And I fought - minoxidil, finasteride, dermarolling. Every. Single. Day. And constantly have for FOUR years now. Hairline is as thick and intact now as it was that first day.
You HAVE to notice and accept it early, and then put in daily work. If you like your hair, fight for it.

Finasteride has some really bad side effects. Minoxidil will make your hair dependent on it forever. Transplant is currently the best in terms of permanently regaining hair back. With success rates over 80 or 90 percent, I feel that's the very best we have at present. Sad we have to fight for something as simple as hair at such young ages. I'd literally not mind if I go bald at say 50 something. Takes a huge toll on men under 40 or so at least.

With transplants you need to have multiple sessions as long as your donor can adequately support it, and only after 2 sessions you can start to look somewhat decent. I'm very glad I got a 2mm buzz cut at 14 just for fun during lunch break in high school and only got positive feedback that it looked great ^^ By the time my hair started shrinking in the corners at 17, I had resigned myself to living bald and saving the money. Just like this guy after 23 it became very noticeable in the front and since then I've been bald to this day (31) and am super happy about it and do it myself quickly every 3 days - omni shaver/remington electric bald razer saving a lot of time and money. But I totally understand how it affects you when you're afraid of losing it all - it wasn't like that for me, but I do know many people who used minoxidil and stuff at a young age and were constantly afraid of going bald. I was also recommended turkey-treatment and stuff, but I figured why the hell? I'm not going to waste money on a problem I didn't feel for myself. I know it's easy to say, while I have an okay head shape and many beard options from my perspective, but it is what it is and at some point you have to accept it and rock it with confidence. Life is a journey. Wish yall self-confidence and a fulfilled life!

the reason why i feel this way is because it's something like 60% of all men start balding before they are 40, now does that mean roughly 60% of all men should walk around completely bald for it? and how boring wouldn't that be?

I started losing my hair at 15 and now that I'm 38 I'm still losing my hair albeit at a slower rate. Is there any data that shows its more aggressive in young people nowadays versus 20 years ago? If so what could be the case? Diet, stress levels, other toxins? Some of these cases seem really unusual but then again we did not have a platform like youtube to document these things back in the day. I remember watching informercials for MPB as a kid and they were all targeted towards men in their 40s and 50s, not 20s.

@@normanosborn1277 Hair loss in men is correlated with higher testosterone, which would infer a correlation to higher fertility?
Higher testosterone is also linked to heart problems, so not healthy entirely but you get my point.

I don't think that "accepting baldness" = "shaving it all off"
I personally think that the "aristotle hairstyle" looks better than a full shaven head for many people, and I'm including the guy featured in this video. I feel like people should embrace their thinning hair instead of just shaving it all off. He looked like a mature young man with the thinning hair at 2:54. It looked great, honestly. I feel like he should rock that style.

I completely agree with you there. Balding looks better than bald, and it has so much more character than a shiny head. The trick to pulling it off is to embrace it and show off the balding and not attempt to hide it. Slicking it back and keeping it neat does the trick.

This is honestly the only idea that helped me feel slightly okay about my genetic hairloss. It actually took me a lot of time to dig it out and come to this conclusion.

@hamzehaladwan thank you for the response. I'm glad there are more people out there that agree with this idea! In all videos, people always say that the person clearly looks "better" after shaving it all off. I disagree. Many of the guys featured in the videos looked very good with the slick-back look. It's also bolder than just shaving it all off, and looks very cool.

Is it normal to not leave the house anymore because of thinning?..and to be too paranoid to get a job on the outside so you work from home due to shame.

I've been watching baldcafe for a year now, even tho i'm not balding yet (i hope i never will) but some of my friends tell me that i have a receding hairline, but i don't take it seriously, because i've never had like a straight, square shaped hairline, so they probably think that i'm receding because of that (First time i heard that from someone was when i was 13-14, so i dont think i would be receding already). But my dad is bald, so it is possible that i will also go bald. And if it will happen then of course i'm planning to use minoxidil, finasteride etc. but i'm also trying to build up that courage of me being bald, even tho i still don't see myself being bald, because of my headshape, face and the fact that currently i can't grow a beard. But we will see what future brings...
