    This issue is all about control. A woman who tells you to leave the toilet seat down is trying to establish and maintain the dominant role in the relationship. Remember that.

  • @DatBoiAderbeen

    put the cover down so you both have to do the same amount of work. why the fuck should one person systematically get it their way. if its gonna be an issue, both people are gonna have to lift the seat/cover up and put it back when your done. its sanitary anyway. you wont have toilet water splashing everywhere while you flush

    If women are too stupid to look before they sit, then they deserve to fall in. and steve is right.. what made women (and yes, I am one) in control of the toilet seat.. why don't women put the seat up.. ?

    I said it and got the same treatment. Now I just do it out of habit. It's kinda sad if you think about tho. A grown ass woman can't put down the toilet seat for herself or can't lift it for her man, but you as the man has to do both!!! Women, I tell ya!!

  • @ninjastorm540
    @ninjastorm540 6 лет назад +5

    This is one of the most trivial arguments women have
    1. its only fair that People should put the toilet seat where they want when they need it. Men shouldnt have to conform to making sure its perfect for you whenever you want to use the bathroom. Its not like you put it up assuming a man needs to pee next.
    2. when men need to go number 2, they dont just sit on the toliet when the seat is up. They actually look so why cant women. its not something that takes a lot of effort.
    3. Women dont just sit in public bathrooms without checking it so whats the big deal with actually checking it at home. Its not like thats an extra chore.
    This is just an annoying argument of how some women just want everything their way all the time.

    I heard another comedian do a bit on this and it stuck with me. He said "Women have to sit down twice as much as we do. So why are they falling in and complaining? You would think they would look before they sat down to make sure the seat is down." Anyway, I took this to heart. My husband and I will be married 5 years April 2015, and I have never complained to him or nagged him about leaving the toilet seat up. I simply look before I sit. It has worked well for us. I don't get why women complain about this. Just look before you sit. It's simple. And if you were raised with brothers like I was, then it should be even easier.

  • @shanellem7091

    I just think it's gross when the seat isn't down because that means when you flushed the toilet all that urine was spraying everywhere. There's a study that was done that when toilets are flushed with the seat up the pressure from the toilet can spray bacteria-laden water into the air and around the bathroom including your toothbrushes. Gross! Put the seat down and then flush! Simple!

  • @nakedfaves
    @nakedfaves 9 лет назад +5

    I'm a 50 year old single white male who's never been married and rarely goes on dates with women.
    If I'm in somebody's house or apartment I always sit (even when I don't have to).
    1) I know I don't make a mess by missing.........
    2) I guarantee that the seat stays down.
    3) I'll even take a little toilet paper and wipe around the bowl and the bottom of the seat in case somebody else left a mess before I got there.
    4) I wash my hands so that I don't have to worry about leaving the bathroom dirtier than I left it.

    Unless your boyfriend doesn't know how to aim it properly and pisses all over the toilet anyway, why not not look at the seat being up as a form of "quality assurance". He cares enough to lift it up. Think about it. Which would you rather be greeted by, a dry seat that is up or one that is down with spritz on it. Just a thought.

    In which case, women should put it back up?
    Or everyone could just put it where they'd like before they go and leave it once they're finished.
    Mathematically, this system leads to the fewest toilet seat movements in any period. This reduces the spread of germs, extends the life of the hinge on the seat and restricts the likelihood of RSI.
    Move it; do your thing; leave it. The only way.

    men can always put the toilet seat down. i mean i can understand if he lives by himself, but they know women go to the loo with the toilet seat down, not up.
