The Harman Kardon Go Plus Play 3 also has custom eq modes. Tap the volume up and the phone icon at the same time to adjust the treble. 1 yellow flash is reduced treble, 2 yellow flashes is normal treble mode, and 3 in treble boost mode. Bass EQ adjustments is by tapping the Bluetooth pairing and volume down buttons at the same time 1 yellow flash reduces the bass 2 is normal bass mode and 3 is bass boosted mode

The biggest disadvantage of this speaker is this subwoofer at the bottom, it can be easily destroyed. Also it lacks some lower treble, but it have a nice high treble. Auto Callibration was annyoing for me, in bigger rooms it sounded really not great but in some smaller rooms it was sounding great tbh. Thanks for the video! Have a nice weekend! 🤩
Thanks bro, you know since I had a speaker in a couple different places I haven't really noticed Auto calibration and it is a bummer how the woffer on the bottom can be destroyed easily on gravel or regular uneven ground

Yeah, that Go+ Play 3 is pretty awesome. Especially for that crazy good sale price they were offering it at. 😁 It might be another year but I'm going to grab another to pair it with if it drops to that price again.🤞I think Harmon Kardon did something similar on their site last year around the same time and I grabbed a couple of Onyx Studio 6s then but, unfortunately, I didn't have enough 💵 to spare for a 2nd Go+ Play 3 this time around. Great video. I like the way you do your comparisons etc. compared to other RUclips videos. How would you say the base is now now that you discovered it has adjustments for the base and treble? Is it decent base? I actually called Harman Cardon earlier today and they guaranteed me. There was no bass and treble adjustments on this item which is very strange coming from the company lol.
One thing about customer service their does average people that happens to work for the company😅 but the bass was already good before but it's even better as far as the treble adjustment are just leaving on normal because it'll be too muddy or too sharp otherwise. And thanks for the compliment

The only Advantage The Studio 6 has is its ipx7 water resistance, besides that everything else is better on the go plus Play 3

I know the prices vary a lot but purely from a sonic point of view, how would you rate the Go Plus Play 3 against the Charge 5 and the Sonos Move 2? If possible, could you pit these three together in a later review video?
HK Go plus play 3, is just in different territory they charge 5 still is a great speaker but the move 2 doesn't really seem to have that much going for it
Hi friend, could you tell me if the Go Play 3's final volume is more powerful than the Onyx Studio 8? I'm Brazilian and I had the onyx studio 8 and I want a sound of the same harman quality, but stronger in the final volume, do you think it has this difference in volume between the onyx or is it better to get the jbl boombox 3?
It's a little bit louder than the studio 8 being plugged in, the battery is also noticeable better and the overall sound quality

the comparison with the xg500 was too short. I'd assume the highs are more muffled on the sony, and mono soundstage, but apart from that how were the bass/mids and overall volume?
It was so short because it was a night and day difference in sound quality. The Sony is a bit louder and the mids is so boosted on the Sony that's all it really had in clarity

Can you tell me if the Harman Kardon go + play 3 has latency in its AUX IN, if you connect a musical instrument there, is it possible to play the instrument connected there AUX IN, without latency? I've already tried it on the JBL Boombox 3 and it doesn't work, the JBL's AUX IN has a lot of latency and it's impossible to use it to play an instrument.
It's a bit better than the Boombox 3 but not perfect

Boom 2 I'm probably going to order one soon and the extreme four is a great overall upgrade however the price tag it's too Hefty nowadays

The Studio 6 has more deep bass at lower volumes but the Studio 8 has noticeably more power and bass at max volume

Indeed, especially with his bottom firing subwoofer you have to be really careful about placing that on the ground
JBL Xtreme 4 coming but price $380 but think JBL Xtreme 3 easy same price when came out but think xtreme 4 maybe more worth it at dat price dan xtreme 3 when just came out but still for speaker for dat size price too high 😅

@ascendedTechNinja i found new songtrack you can use to test too. I'm not sure if it's copyright or not but the title of the music is "Love To Death" it jas Good instruments and wide soundstage, the kick isn't the greatest, but it has deep bass😊

Yes but it's a small difference
Rip those speakers specially Boombox 3:( but Boombox 2 can get close to Harman Kardon G'play3? The Boombox 3 now sounded like quite muffled in balance. Boombox 2 beautifully smooth. And the blast was finally dethroned. I think i should release a proper rival of it.
Not exactly, The Go plus play 3 well balanced sound stage made the others sound somewhat muffled, the BB3 is significantly louder than the speakers i just played but it has a low mids dip and a 700 Hz peak so it lpst to the Go plus play 3.The bb2 is more natural but the soundstage isn't as wide as the BB3 or G+P 3

Harman has 3 equalization modes. You use it ?
It actually has 6 known eqs. There may be one to control the midrange. I haven't used it yet but I will today once I get back home from NY
Told u W-king was stepping there game up son!!! Got me thinking bout the D 9 even more!!! I was trying to avoid it! Remember what I told you about the w king X10 Being more like a budget extreme three with more features and way better battery life! As for the go play 3 i am curious about it! U telling me that doward firing wiofer doesn't hit as deep as the boom box three, interesting!

The Go Plus Play 3 still has enough deep bass to definitely be enjoyable. The Boombox 3 definitely has an advantage in power, but I enjoy a lot more genres of music on the Harman, I think you should get it at one point

@@TheAscendedTechNinja Yeah I had a feeling it was going to be lower, Look at all the other speakers. You would think they would be twice their price, but they're reasonably priced. 275 for what it can do and it may come with a microphone that's actually not bad.
But i have a question. If the Harman Kardon Audio sound better than JBL. Then why? Harman isn't do anything to get closer to it? I mean it's the major owner of JBL, why? Is this happening 😭

A huge disappointment for Xtreme 4.(nevermind that 24hours removable battery) i was expecting a massive upgrade to the speaker layouts and setups. But it's stock in 2way setup. This gonna be no difference in bass with the Xtreme 3. Specially GG model.
The speaker layout did highly disappoint me at first but I heard it sounds a lot better compared to the Xtreme 3, A lot of speakers with the same setup can go louder and have deeper bass ,but I have to see if it's actually that much better
@@TheAscendedTechNinja i can't get deal. Just go back with Xtreme 3. I really hate this stock in way setup. As a bass head i really looking for massive bass upgrade.
I dont know which is more disappointing the xtreme 4 itself or the fact that the new partyboxes have small batteries. About the swappable batteries yes it is easier now but we could to that with xtreme 2 and 3 also. They said "instead of throwing away the speaker" who the hell is throwing away a fully working speaker because of the battery being degraded. Anyway people should stick with xtreme 3 and not give jbl more money with their "new" bs speaker pairing protocol.

Sound wise the Authentic 300 is surprisingly better than the Go Play 3.
Your preference is just a warmer sound signature with a flattish sound signature and a deep bass kick

previously The tribit got a lot of hype, but now when you compared it against HK, the Tribit sound unpleasantly rought.
