    The reason I couldn't pick a clear winner from first to last because all of these speakers are similar but very different. In my opinion I would go with. Boombox 2,XP-500,XG500, Xp-700 this scale is to benefit my usage case scenarios as a home body that bearly goes out. My question is who do you think won this battle

    Some things I wanted to add on. Both of the XP speakers have tablet slots that can fit 9.5 inch long tablets. And they also include Battery Care which limits maximum charge to 90% to preserve the longevity of your battery and stamina mode to help further preserve your battery life. But Sony's battery management pretty much take cares of that so that is why I did not talk about it.

      @@TheAscendedTechNinja I think XP500 with poweramp would be tough, but I think that the speaker is set up a little better than the xg500 and xp700. Just weird why? It seems this speaker has gotten the most attention when comparing the sound quality to the XG500 and XP700, so I don't think it really boosts the poweramp or dolby, but rather encourages clipping.

    Many bluetooth speakers these days can produce deep bass, the jbl boombox 2 gets weak below 40hz and honestly below 40hz? We are talking about very low frequencies here and from about 35 Hz you only perceive oscillations or vibrations that spread. Jbl has installed a good passive radiator for this, where you can also perceive vibrations from 45 Hz, so it feels deeper than other speakers, although it is only strong from 45 Hz.

    • @Fritzwetter2015
      @Fritzwetter2015 2 года назад +2

      The XG-500 is the sony's most stable speaker unit, also paired with 2 huge passive radiators, but this is where the difference between the xg500 and jbl box 2 lies. The passive radiators even come down very far thanks to the two woofers from Sony, but they don't feel like they vibrate at all and that's why there is a difference, although the speakers give nothing at all in the deep bass, according to my analysis, also play a frequency of 40 Hz strongly and weaken at around 38-37, from the technical data and practical test Sony has caught up a bit with it.. Criticism material and construction of the passive radiators, they don't give the feeling of playing below 40hz and they are made of fabric and this dampens!!

    • @TheAscendedTechNinja
      @TheAscendedTechNinja  2 года назад +1

      True I mentioned where the Boombox 2 is stronger in bass than the others. I think the Boombox 3 has a peak at 40Hz and dies off at 35Hz. According to JBL'S track record and leaked bass tedt

    • @Fritzwetter2015
      @Fritzwetter2015 2 года назад +1

      @@TheAscendedTechNinja The jbl box 2 is not the strongest but has the Crunchy bass and Sony XG 500 rather soft bass. Nevertheless, the XG 500, as already written, is just as deep and can achieve very good results when analyzing the frequencies. This means that the frequencies are the same, but thanks to the passive radiators, they come across differently even though the frequency is unchanged.

    Compared the xp500 and the xp700, definitely the 700 is the best, way more louder and more bass, is does get a little bit brighter pass 80 percent volume but still sound very good and loud especially if you have a wall to bounce the sound off. I prefer to have the 700 because I can charge it and have very loud music in a car, at home or outdoor, and I like the pairing features as well which allows me to connect multiple smaller speakers together and yes it gets even louder and punchier when you pair em up. for me the 700 is the best here, followed by the xp500 and the xg500 and the boombox are more or less the same. The XP-700 having the best potential performance to a degree yes but in general the best speaker that can be a debate depending on what you want. And Party connect cuts deep bass just to emphasize upper and mid bass. But the Xp speakers aren't loud for long with the battery management. And the Boombox 2 for its size is the most impressive but not the best sounding that would be the XP700

      @@TheAscendedTechNinja With two pairing xp700 the deep bass was still present, I rock a party with those indoors was much better because of the wall. the jbl boombox two is quite good, almost the same as the first one (not for large partiers though), but the 700 win in comparison in my opinion, but yes I think Sony could have made it even louder for its size definitely. I'm a jbl fan, but lately Sony has been working really hard and I've grown lo like em again, they seem to be doing better now. Jbl really need to work harder to own the market again with more features, pairing, but their sound signature is dope. chapeau to em both
