Love the rounded look of the new XV speakers. However I just picked up the XP500 for $184 at Best Buy open box. Not a scratch or dent on that sucker. Sounds amazing plugged in and adjusted some EQ levels.
I think you missed the point of the key change. It’s not there for the music you are listening to, it is there for Karaoke, if you need to drop the key of a song for the person singing it. That’s a fantastic feature.
Agreed, he may not understand the point. Artists change the keys to their live music as their voices age. They can't hit those notes anymore. The average mutt on the street can't hit many high or low notes, so you change the key to allow you to sing within your range. It's a cool feature, didn't know there was such a thing.
Thanks for your video, bro. I need to know if we plug in my speeker to the AC power all the time. It makes a problem for my battery, or it doesn't?i mean, is it work like a laptops or not?
8:56 Basically, this is a good wired speaker that you can use without a wire, but the volume sucks. Man, idk why Sony like to shoot their own foot and more sales
@nicowank634 indeed, and the 120 is coming in April, so we're just going to write the XV500 off and focus on JBL once again. I wish there was real competition out there
@@TheAscendedTechNinja i absolutely love the xg500 it definitely can't keep up with the bb3 in terms of performance but where i live its literally half the price which makes it worth it
@nicowank634 the Xg500 is still a nice speaker, but the Tribit StormBox Blast took its place for the most part. I plan on getting the XG300 and that will be it for my Sony speaker coverage. The others have to many gimmicks and put sound last
@@nicowank634 I wouldn't say it's worse than the PB 110, it is a different product with a different goal, it sounds more refined than the PB 110, but it is less loud and less bassy. However instrument separation, frequency balance and dynamics are A LOT better on the XV500, so it comes down to purpose.
I have the XV500 now. It sounds relly great, at all volumes. I'm very happy with the sound quality. Works also well pairing with ny sony xb33/43s. Yet I have the impression that the max volume decreases when playing for a few hours (when running on battery). I have read about this in reviews about previous sony speakers. So maybe I'm just paranoid now... Has anyone tested this? And if its true, is there a trick to undo that? Turning off and on again?
Yeah, I’m having a party soon and would like to know if two speakers can play simultaneously. So guests can continue listening to music inside and outside the house.
To sing within your range. E.G. The average person can't hit the high notes that Christina Aguilera can sing, so you change the key to one that suits a lower range, matching your voice capability.
$299 on sale makes this (and the partybox 110) a very temping buy for my rv site. The other portable speakers like the Extreme 4 and xg300 are just as expensive but less capable imo (and the xg300 sounds like garbage). Smaller than that I don't think would be good for a 99% outside party speaker.
I want to own a Sony speaker but I’m hesitant because of the child protect error from my previous speakers. When you get this error, your speaker’s dead.
Ult 7 is louder when you are close (when both on battery), but not when you are far away. The ult 7 xv500 sounds very impressive at 20-35% (but too bassy indoors in default) but when you raise the volume it gets quite harsh. The xv500 has a much more consistent sound profile over different volume leves, and at volumes above 40%, it sounds much better. The ult 7 is half the weight though, and it has better stereo separation (only if you are in central position with 2m of the speaker).
@@mrdevil848 service center persons could not resolve the issue after changing mother board and many other spares, the set is not in order till now. You should do some kind of bass tests in these types of videos for people interested in that
Thanks for mentioning that. Didn't have to listen to the whole video to find that out!
Sony bass is very good I own sony sound live xps 500. It's too good. In a normal hall it can vibrate your heart..

How many watts is the sony xv500 and how would it compare to the jbl partybox 110 ?
Amazing content. Your video really supported me with my decision making. I'm gonna go with the Sony XV 500. God bless you bro ✨🌟💪😃💯❤️💯
Can you make a review on JBL eon one compact, and find out if pro speaker is better value than party speaker, and if it can replace it?
They will be better for bigger parties compared to the party speakers

want xv500 xv800 comparison
Is it possible to use it while charging
is the xv500 significantly louder than 1 or 2 Sony xg300s (when running on battery)?
Yes
Hi guys!!!!!
Is it possible to buy 2 pieces of the same model and make them play both the same time with Bluetooth???
Yeah,

Can you do a comparison of the Sony XV500, XP700 and XV800?
we already did. YT just doesn't suggest it
@@GYMCADDY okey, so I'm going to find and watch it
Which would you recommend between the XV500 and the XP700, or perhaps the JBL 110?
Xp700
Yo i want that speaker badly!
Why would you change the key of your music?
For dj and mixing purposes mostly, bringing the key down to match another song key. Or for fun, it's a party speaker after all.
for karaoke, to match it to your voice range

Is it possible to connect srs xg500 with xb100?
no, xb100 doesnt support party connect
I have XP500 and XV500. I didn't feel the bass of XV500.
JBL Party box club 120 or Sony SRS-XV500?
Help!!!
Probably JBL bro
A lot of these points don’t matter just let me know if it’s gonna be a good sounding loud speaker for events
Not as loud or as bassy as the jbl partybox 110 or 120
But sony will have better clarity and balanced sound

😍🔥😎😂👍❤️ I'm still waiting for the new xv5 10
how does it perform against jbl pb110 ??
Quieter, less lower bass. Noticeably better sound quality/detail/balance.
Can you pair them?
