People who say that JBL has too much bass or that the bass overpowers the mids and highs - your argument is invalid as long as EQ exists. You can adjust the amount of bass to your liking. If you like Sony sound signature, you can mimic that on the JBL: Lower bass, raise mids and highs, put bass boost 2 (cuts off all frequencies below 45Hz and boosts mid and upper bass). But you can't go vice-versa, cause Sony will never go as deep as the JBL. Still, sound signatures matter very little. In the end it all comes down to sound technicalities and which speaker has the CAPABILITY to produce more and higher quality bass and have better low frequency extension. This is what's most important. And JBL wins in all of these aspects. Everything else can be adjusted with the EQ to individual preferences.
@@Real_Reviews Same. And that's how it should be. Sony ULT Tower 10 would be amazing if it HAD deep bass. JBL Partybox Ultimate will always be the king of loud deep bass!!!!!! Sony will never beat JBL deep bass!!!! JBL will stay as the king of loud deep bass for decades, or even longer!!!!!!
Sony needs to stop with the STUPID square woofer design. They did that with some of their subs even a couple decades ago, it was stupid then, and it's stupid now. The only reason to do it is to look different, when physics clearly dictates that round is the ideal shape for a speaker, for very obvious reasons. With 2 woofers, the JBL simply has more surface area, so it's definitely winning in the bass department, and with less distortion than the weird square woofer, that's going to have weird non-pistonic motion and cone flex/resonances.
Music is not bass alone...other listeners like me are not bass lovers...i like vocals clarity, surround and intrumental crispiness so i choose Sony it has better orchestra effect and theater like sound than JBl....

@@Real_Reviews That definitely sounded much better. But if you can afford a binaural microphone it would be the best. Binaural microphones capture lower frequencies much more accurately than the typical shotgun mics. So we can judge the bass differences better. This is only a suggestion though.
It's pretty simple, Sony is using odd size woofers so you cant easily swap them out for aftermarkets. These companies spend time and resources to make it more difficult for you to either service or upgrade your own unit. They could have saved everyone money if they just used standard sizing. Can sell the same unit for less and probably ultimately sell more units. But because these are so ungodly expensive I will probably never buy one.

SONY ♥️
Jbl ❤️
Sony losing run continues.
only in bass really
Maybe they will come out with a new model soon
Sony's bass is terrible.
Im confused as to which is better, cause both sound like a trash from my chinese phone😂
@Prophetian-i9m Ultimate definitely wins. If you use headphones it will give you a better idea. Sony sounds louder because of the horn tweeters but JBL has better depth and bass that will knock the house down.
Se escucha mejor el sony
JBL good than Sony because bass of JBL is insane
you just focus on bass....you forget to listen how well the balances with sony
jbl party box 710 best outside musik ever !
I do agree with u that JBL has better bass than Sony...i know
Party speaker without bass 🤣🤣 maybe it's for children school party 😂😂
Sony made it like that intentionally to balance the sound lmfao everything music is all about the bass only 🤦🏽♂️
If I could afford I would choose the Sony simpl because the is great on both but you can use the Sony fiber optics and use for tv/movies. That's definitely a bonus.
Bad audio
@@loumuniz Its not easy to capture the audio of such loud speakers. I did my best at the time using a phone camera. If you know of a good mic to use for this purpose please let me know. Thanks
Sony has superior sound ,clear sound !
@@stoicangeorge8540 👍
Brother, JBL has better bass. If you want something to rock at home, JBL Partybox Ultimate 1000 or 710 would be a better choice. Sony is at the top level in terms of sound. But still, boxes like pb ultimate 1000 and 710 sound more natural to me. Sony LG Panasonic Sound and bass are not felt at all.
Since ultimates bass absorb the music which reach in the mic i think you should play it lower like 50% which is already to loud, to see if the mic can handle this. Right now the mic isnt giving justice.Nice touch you mention it at the start but i really dont understand why youtubers play it at maximum power since they arent able to reproduce the sound only outside and far can it play at maximum. Nice video keep it up.
I think you are right. I did just post a short on the Ultimate with volume at 50% and using a better microphone, the Traxshot Pro. Below is the link. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

@@Real_Reviews That definitely sounded much better. But if you can afford a binaural microphone it would be the best. Binaural microphones capture lower frequencies much more accurately than the typical shotgun mics. So we can judge the bass differences better.
This is only a suggestion though.
@@LukeR1M I will look into it. Thank you
Esa JBL logra 108 db a 4 metros , es un escándalo bien instrumentado 🥰
It's pretty simple, Sony is using odd size woofers so you cant easily swap them out for aftermarkets. These companies spend time and resources to make it more difficult for you to either service or upgrade your own unit. They could have saved everyone money if they just used standard sizing. Can sell the same unit for less and probably ultimately sell more units. But because these are so ungodly expensive I will probably never buy one.
Very interesting and makes sense. Thanks for providing this information.
eq can prob fix it but the jbl lows mixed with the sony mids/highs clarity would be god tier, need a collab between the 2 XD
No need. JBL is already better in all.
When it comes to durability...i had both Sony and JBL in my house ..my JBL is 6 yo and is still functioning well...my Sony is 15 yo...also functioning well..
Si la JBL dura 4 años solamente, estaría justificado su precio pk hacia anos que no escuchaba algo así , cuando la escuches lo entenderás el subwoofer es increíble!!!
@@joseorestesdelgado6574i agree with u that JBl has better bass than Sony...however i am not a bass lover...i like to listen more on vocals clarity and instrumentals crispiness...therefore i choose Sony.
I said both are durable...u dnt read it well do u?
@stevecadagat3775 Dime la verdad, Tú as escuchado la JBL? 😅 Si te gusta la música te vas a volver loco es una fantasía un sueño hecho realidad yo odiaba las columnas y está hay que amarla @@stevecadagat3775

Sony clear sound ❤
no
No. Sony is not clearer than JBL. It's just screaming.
@@LukeR1M Yessss😊
Sony is clearer than JBL yes i agree with u but JBL has better bass
В живуюю jbl нету равных🥳
Yes in person you can really hear the difference.
JBL= Off road speaker.
What does that even mean?
@ALEX-R.77 it means she's capable. The Sony couldn't go off road, but will certainly make some smoke. It would come down to price for most.
@@CensorMeNot-dv5lgshow proof please...
Sony👍👍
There's no JBL in my chilldhood so i go for SONY 😊
There’s no iphone in your childhood so go for nokia😂

El jbl se escucha apagado, por eso se ecucha para unos mas grave, me voy por el Sony...
Sony has clearly voice
Sony all the way ❤️
I WANT TO BUY ONLY FOR MY SINGING 🎤 PURPOSE SO PLEASE SUGGEST????
@PankajKumar-uo7hk The Encore for just Karaoke since it includes 2 wireless mics, especially since it goes on sale at Samsclub on the 26th of this month for $169. If you want to choose between Ult Tower 10 and the Partybox Ultimate for Karaoke, the Sony is less expensive and includes a wireless mic. Plus, it has a mic holder.
Jbl pb320 is better karaoke all the way
@PankajKumar-uo7hk If just for singing. The Sony is less expensive and includes a wireless microphone but if you really want to save a bit more and have 2 wireless mics the Partybox Encore wins.

A JBL ganha da LG mas perde pra Sony.
It's a Sony
Sony has more details and louder hard sharp bass.
JBL has louder bass. Sony has more audible bass which is obvious as it focuses more on mid and upper bass.
O áudio da Sony é mais nítido.
Pra quem gosta de suavidade, é a JBL.
JBL is new king of speakers 🔊
@@bulagnasniper2949 I have yet to find a better sounding party speaker than the Ultimate. But yes all of the JBL speakers I have tested sound good, especially when you compare them with similar speakers from other brands.
sony all the way
That Sony looks sexier I ain’t gonna lie 🤔
looks terrible lol
Looks worse than their speakers from 30 years ago....
@@edensl8759You can say what you want about the sound but the Sony does look better lol. Stop being a fan boy of JBL.
Looks ugly and cheap. Nothing premium about this speaker, aside from price.
@@HOODCHRYMER yea it looks better for cheap karaoke kids, looks like you're one. no need to be a jbl fanboy to say it's embarrassing
Sony stereo separation is wide and very clear with punchy bass
Jbl sound stage is narrow and sony is open. I like Sony. Sony has smooth bass. Jbl lights awesome.
it was biased review. Vocals on Sony are much better.
It might be my Macbook speakers, but the Sony sounds much better.
Yes, Sony is clearer and more spatious. JBL fans can't understand sound quality. They just want they brains crushed by the base.
Sony is winning the battle her, i understand you are a fan of JBL but as im listening JBL bass is dropping vocals a little bit.
@kelvinramba9000 Here is a link where you can grab one on sale.

I have the smaller Sony XP500 and I bring it to the gym and it will fill a whole basketball gym with load clear bass and crystal clear mids and highs. I get people telling me it is a great sounding speaker all the time. Also it is not to heavy to carry either. Although my neighbors hate it because the bass at like 3 or 4 can be heard.
Nice, your Sony sounds like a fun speaker. It is amazing how a simple speaker can create happiness. But when you listen to your favorite tunes on these devices, you can feel it lifting your spirits. Enjoy
