Hello and thank you for watching. Yes for the price, pixel art display, and karaoke features the LG surely wins. Plus it does sound surprisingly good.

I use Bluetooth from my Samsung phone and tablet with Poweramp app. I have never tried 3.5mm to be honest since my devices don't support 3.5mm.

@deanvm9158 It's not the speaker, it's the mic that can't handle the bass.

@PavanMS87 I would give it at least an 8 without EQ tuning. But I'm sure you could tune it up a bit. Like I say, many places allow returns if you don't like it, so just grab one and let us know. I bet you keep the Ultimate.

The Skullcandy app did not work for it.

On the Ultimate, all of the mic controls are on the top of the speaker.

@Chyna40 If you have 2 of the same speaker, then yes, you use the TWS button on the back. The 710's have the feature.

Very big difference. The Ultimate is amazing.

@Swimbait_addiction 2 710's would sound great, I am sure. But there is just something amazing about the Ultimate that I have not heard from other party speakers that I have tested. But for price you may be able to get 2 710's for the same price and they will surely rock the house. I should have got another Ultimate when it was on sale. To really answer your question, though, I would have to say 1 Ultimate would sound better.

@sashkopavlov4313 I have not deleted your comments. Just a couple weeks back the JBL was cheaper at just $999. The Sony is a waste of money. Save up and get the JBL. I listened to both extensive side by side. Just gotta say it. Sorry 😞 FYI JBL has never paid me a penny nor given me any speakers.

@sashkopavlov4313 I have never been paid for any reviews. Some companies send me items to review, but so far, not JBL. All my reviews are based on my personal opinion and testing. I can say 1 Million % that if you have the Sony ULT Tower 10 or the Sony XV900 sitting next to an Ultimate and play the same songs at the same volume, the difference is night and day, not even close. The JBL wins. If anyone out there does not believe me, try it for yourself and get back to me. Please try it for yourself. The Sony will be a return, and you will debate about keeping the Ultimate even at $1700.

@sashkopavlov4313 I have speaker reviews from $20 up to the Ultimate. I just don't usually mention price since it changes so much. Then I say it's on sale for $999. You go to my link, and it is $1500. Same for lower priced speakers on Amazon, where coupons and discounts appear and dissappear like magic.

@mikemcgee5296 I did try some nails off camera. It does not really have the power to drive them all the way in. For short staples it was great. This one is just for basic projects, nothing professional.

Yes, you can if your phone has software with an equalizer. I use the Musicolet software; it comes with a 5 band equalizer, which makes the Partybox 1000 sound way better, in terms of clarity!
