at this price, there is no speaker in the world that can beat this in built quality and sound quality. Also, you're going to notice the soundstage doesn't really roll off from the side angles right up until you pass the handle. One of the benefits of having the drivers spread far apart with angled out tweeters.
Dang you aren't lying, this thing sounds amazing and that subwoofer really puts in great work!!! Build wise and sound quality on this thing is top of the line, I'd easily pay 350$ for it but honestly 128$ is a screaming deal, I got it cheaper than a jbl charge 5 ha ha
@Jagistreviews the fact there still on sale, for that price is crazy. Try to get a second one. It will be nice to get that gray color, but that some performance will make up for it at that price.
@TheAscendedTechNinja I really want a white gray colored one, are they ever going to be available for purchase in any color but black? I will most likely get another soon, I got a couple other speakers I really want to put on my channel though ha ha, way too many speakers and not enough time nor money ha ha

This speaker is awesome, good bass and clarety, and for the price you paid it's a steal 🙂
It's a super good speaker and for the price I don't think anything can beat it, it's not as loud as my jbl encore but it sounds a lot more clear and precise which I am loving!!! And that subwoofer puts in great work

@Jagistreviews Rn, this is probably going to be your most used speaker, but you'll use your Encore for power preferences, but then you'll switch back to the HK because the sound stage. Once I got the 2nd go plus play 3 the 40hz note on the Encore still is stronger but the bass sounded weak along with the soundstage in comparison to two Go plus play 3s. The amount of bass will rattle your room with the right music with a very wide sound stage to go along with it.

It does sound amazing, that subwoofer can reach really low 😍 that does suck that the subwoofer is not protected on the bottom, I'm definitely only using this speaker indoors

Hey, in future comparisons, please don't forget to go into the Go + Play 3's other 2 secret sound profiles, which are accessed by holding the phone icon button and the volume "+" together, until the indicator-light flashes...
Is that the low frequency mode?
Apparently not... I have only seen one channel actually briefly demonstrate the 3 total modes... Seems the 3rd is the loudest, and I have heard contrasting ideas about the second... One guy describes it as balanced, while the other describes it as bass-boosted... But this is all pretty cutting-edge, for the time being...@@Jagistreviews

Ok, so it seems there may actually be FOUR modes in total... One default, and three hidden... Seems the number of times the indicator-light blinks (when phone and "+" are pressed simultaneously), is the coresponding hidden mode, which appear to be... 1) Bass-heavy. 2) Neutral. 3) Loud... No vídeo has been very clear yet... @@Jagistreviews
Great video! Great job! Sounds to me like when the bass starts to kick in it pulls back the mids and highs a bit. Great sounding speaker though. Also where did you get it for that price?
I went onto Groupon through Google and got the deal I did that way, and I'm going to me around with it a bit more and see how the speaker handles different music at different volumes but ya it might definitely pull some of the highs when the sub really kicks in, I'll do more research
I agree absolutely. The bass kills the mids, no matter what you arrange on equalizer.
@@erdem1956erol Have you tried the speaker yourself? I can't imagine it does that, but rather think it's because of the microphone this video is recorded with. They specifically enclosed the tweeter and mid-woofers for it to interfere less with the subwoofer, unlike the Go + Play 2 where the speakers are basically in the same space
The Go Plus Play 3 needs side by side comparison with 200.00 and 140 Watt choices, to see if it's really worth spending over

Having 2 is the way to go. In stereo they sound truly hifi. For $260 a pair you couldn't hardly get an amp and bookshelf speakers that sound this good.
Also the USB-C will playback MP3s via a usb-c thumb drive.
I think 2 would sound so amazing!!! I may end up picking another up soon so I can try it, I also bought a used soundcast vg5 on ebay for 30$ it needs a new battery but otherwise it's great still, can't wait to pair them up together and see what they can do!!!

It's a great speaker, I'm loving mine so far as well, 2 would probably sound incredible together

@serhiimatiiek4517 I don't have the previous anymore but from what I remember this one is definitely the better option, better sound way deeper more intense bass and a bit larger of a battery
To those who are reluctant to configure. Simple plug'n'play.
This sounds amazing even on stock eq so you can just plug and play and it's still amazing quality and hifi sound
Did you test the mic? Based on the specifications, the speaker has mic built-in. I would like to use it for videoconference with more people in a small meeting room or office.
I have not used the mic but being a harmon product it probably works really good
How is the bass Compared to onyx 6

I think the harmon won't get quite as loud as the tribit but definitely has a bass that reaches deeper and stronger, I'll try to make a comparison between the two soon

I'm on the fences with its design. It looks great for something to keep around the house or even out in the yard but beyond that would not be recommended as there is little protection for the bottom firing subwoofer. The sound is off-the-charts good! Even coming through my Tribit Stormbox Blast w-spatial EQ -- it sounds very impressive. $530 CAD . . . . . hmmm 🤔
I love the design however your absolutely right, I with the sub had more protection but it just means you have to be careful and aware of where you're placing it, the sound is the best I've heard so far, better than any of the speakers I currently own, it makes my soul so happy to listen to it for hours and no ear fatigue like with the jbl boombox 3 and extreme 3

@@Jagistreviews Probably. I'm not sure. Either way, we would most likely still be too far apart in price anyway as I would not be willing to pay $300+ for any Bluetooth speaker, based on my needs... no matter how great it may sound.

Your most welcome, honestly the jbl boombox 3 or wking x20 would be some of my best choices, also the jbl encore is amazing with crazy bass but not a great battery
@@Jagistreviews I just listened to the others, hard choice..but also seemed that the encore sounded better the higher you put the volume atleast to my ears. And just saw that there is a version 4 of boombox coming out aswell :)

Nice little hi-fi speaker
Truly the most hifi bluetooth speaker I own at this point, it's not as good and hifi as 10,000$ tower speakers but it's dang good for its price and size
5:12 first time I have heard reverb on this song with a speaker on one of your videos! What codec is it using? LDAC? AAC? APTX?

Sbc I think, this speaker sounds absolutely beautiful and the sound stage is wide and open, definitely one of the best If not the best sounding speaker I own
@Jagistreviews agreed, high end audio codacs are nice to have but if it has a bad sound signature. It's like putting rims on a Ford Pinto with a rusted body

It plays all music very very well, it sounds absolutely beautiful and replicates the music almost perfectly, with rock music it does especially well, the highs are crisp and the lows are punchy and quick
Ime torn between this and the Jbl 200, wich do you recommend please.
The jbl authentics 200? I haven't heard that one but from what I've seen I think the harmon kardon go plus play 3 is the better route to go

@stevendavies3379 ya the go plus play would be one of the best options for that, the studio 8 are a pretty decent speaker to but the harmon kardon go plus play 3 is superior out of those
Is the sound quality and the bass better than a jbl Boombox 2?
Yes but the jbl boombox 2 is louder and has a better battery life

What are your thoughts on the aiwa exos 9 vs go play 3?
Honestly I'd take the aiwa exos 9, it has just as hifi and nice of a sound almost as the go play 3 but goes way more loud and more bass

Too bad there is no protection for the down.firing sub speaker.
I would have that thing punctured in less than 6 months.
Maybe that's tue design plan so you need to repair or replace often.
I agree if you're planning on taking it out side but if your just putting it on the dresser and table and stuff in your home you shouldn't have a problem not harming the subwoofer

I'm working on getting a bb3 again, or wifi edition, in the meantime I'll put it up againts my jbl encore, the skullcandy Barrel xt, ue hyperboom and a few others that I have

@marcosantos4699 I had to get hand surgery like a year ago and had to sell a few speakers to help with the cost, I've gotten pretty much all of them back again but that's one I haven't quite yet
@Jagistreviews how would ya compare vs the encore for volume level when both are unplugged? I'm so tempted to order this speaker but been waiting and holding out for the wking x20 to release in the states. Had the bh3 wifi costco had it in Dec for 399 and honestly the sound that came outta that thing was un fn real especially plugged in ... the issue I had was with the connection in wifi I just wasn't a fan of volume controls or skipping tracks and in bt the connection was wonky and that was using it paired to my s23u phone so I ended up returning but had it not had those issues I'd still be rockin it especially at the price they had it and even now it's 499 vs 649 on jbl website but damnit again this speaker is tempting me will add i do still own the blast and my home system is two partybox 110s
@wadec6799 so unplugged the harmon kardon go plus play 3 doesn't really loose much volume or bass but the encore does, so unplugged I think they are actually very close to the same sound but the harmon does sound smoother and more refined, almost hifi to my ears, both are great but ya unplugged I think I prefer the harmon kardon go plus play 3 over the jbl encore
