This is a song that I'm afraid of watching/listening because it might trigger too many emotions. And it'll end in sadness for sure. Anyone else feel the same? Don't get me wrong, I frigging love this song.

That moment when Steven starts the main melody shred on his guitar and a dude in the audience can’t help but feel overwhelmed and raises his fists in the air. I felt the same way watching this through my phone. Only Steven Wilson’s music can make you feel that.
This is the moment where it hits me. Only time I've ever experienced anything close was seeing Envy live at XOYO 15 years ago. You feel the music. Epic.
I've only recently discovered Steven and his music. I'm only in the beginning stages of exploring his catalog as a solo artist as well as Porcupine Tree. I feel like I've been living under a rock or something. So far for me, he is the melody king. He writes some of the most beautiful melodies I've heard in a long time.

Porcupine Tree's songs are very much Prog-Metal mix with powerful riffs and incredible chord progressions. While SW solo albums are extremely meloncholic, subdues and highly evocative. These, I think, are the prime difference among the 2. But they are different sides of the same, sublimely divine, coin.
