Thanks to the 250ish people who entered... the winner is @RossGallagherMusic Enjoy your new MIDI controller! Once again, many thanks to the subscriber who recommended this product to me. I couldn't find the original comment, but this is such a well designed MIDI controller, and I'm glad you brought it to my attention!
These are MIDI disrupters! Just developed a MIDI controllable Teensy T4 Laser Synth PCB + MIDI mixer + Reaper 7 + 22" & 17" touch screens + 2 X 3W RGB laser projectors (Laserium living room 😜). Your product reviews are excellent food for thought to be added to my list of gear. Thanks, Scott!
@scottuhlmusic I hope you know this is serving as the product manual on the M2 for many folks. Thanks so much for this as well as your other midi related videos - I have learned a lot! Looking forward to any more use case vids on the M2 you come up with.
What a well designed MIDI Controller and Accessories. It is so easy to get lost and end up with a MIDI headache, but I was actually able to follow along. Good job Luminite and Scott! I'd love to see them in my Super Mario Kart. 💥
I've played Super Mario Kart right from the 1st version, always a blast, how can you not love it. This Midi controller eco-system looks absolutely amazing.
Excellent video, thanks for sharing your experience! I have the M2 and the F6W, and two sets of x-y and EC controllers. I haven’t delved into iPad control or song/setlist use, and I had no idea that the little play arrow icon was to test! That’s awesome to know! I’m really thankful that you have posted this video, there have been so few graviton videos posted. I got into MIDI for the first time in quite a while, and the last time I used it things were pretty different. So this is extremely helpful for me, thanks again! I have liked and subscribed. You rock.
After getting the M2 and an XY controller, I’m now getting the wireless 6button footswitch and another XYcontroller AND two of the EC (rotary) wireless controllers. My setup is so perfect for my rig now. Thanks for the discount codes, and for such an informative video! Yours is by far the best video for this product line. I wish they would release a ton more vids about it. Sleeper product of the year for me. Thanks again.
It is nice to see a MIDI company taking into account the modern UI of guitar modeler technology in using setlists and scenes. I use the Nektar Pacer to control some sound effects (and Super Mario Kart), and it works...but is big. I also rely on color/text to know what I am clicking, so having a visual display helps in knowing what I am clicking.
I had the Pacer as well, and I agree. I was never able to use it as I wanted to just because of its size and weight. Not that it was bad, but it is not pedalboard friendly as the Graviton is.
Super Mario Kart You didn’t spend much time on the cv/relay box. It’s awesome. I am able to switch from clean to dirty and turn reverb on and off on my analog tube amp that doesn’t have any midi. Very cool!
Man I love how this new midi controller works! It all make sense! I just remembered one of my all time favorite game which is Super Mario Cart. Cheers to your channel as always! ❤
Oh man! This is the end-all-be-all of midi foot switches! Here I am using separate midi switches/ controllers for different devices or making other changes changes with my hands like a chump 😂 Great video, Scott! Super Mario Kart 😊
Scott you had me at Midi…. This is so freaking weird.. I have been working on my own midi controller using an arduino… now you found this…. Thank you… Scott .. Hey Man.. I have been following you for awhile now .. gig performer / stagetrax… blah blah blah…man you are always one step ahead of me… I know your a busy guy…I just got picked up by a local band In Chicago with some other professional musicians…and I have been looking into new pedal board ideas…. You are the man I would like to speak to… if you got the time…I got the dime…just let me know … thanks
Thanks for following the channel John! Glad you’ve found it so helpful. I am available for consultations which can be booked on my website (link in the description)
This is awesome and a great alternative to the ultra expensive and hard to find (in Europe) Morningstar controllers, plus they're super affordable for what they offer!
A company like luminitefx is right up my alley, tech'd out to the max and they also seem to have all the different MIDI scenarios figured out and not have to wait for suggestions from people and then they release the corresponding updates. Also good to see that they are all backordered now for a few weeks and Scott I hope your video and influence has a hand in that.
Damn. This system is amazing. Would be the perfect addition to my current setup. Thanks to whoever suggested this for you, and of course for the in-depth review of this amazing gadget. Super Mario Kart
This ought to be the ultimate Midi controller.... After I looked at your clip I needed to order exactly what your give away was... M1, F10w and the EC controller.... Seems really amazing, hope that it is that too! But from your clip I believe that it is! Just to be able to have your multi effect on your desk and control it by midi wireless through the footcontroller and even that your can change parameters through the EC one... Just amazing! Then I saw somewhere that someone used a metallic beltclip for the EC and YX controller and have it on your strap, that will work! Really nice clip, good one! And for Luminite, you really outdone yourselves! Also to a price which is fair, not cheap, but compared to what it does.... Nice!
Super Mario Cart drove over to my house with this incredible device! I really am amazed at this very well thought out product. And Scott, your vids are so well done! Bravo!
Wow! I can't believe all that this can do. I was also surprised when you showed the prices; I expected the components would cost a lot more than they do. Excellent video, Scott. Well worth the time to watch it. Super Mario Kart.
OMG!!! This is exactly what I’ve been searching for. We currently are trying to control presets, patches as well as lighting and video cues. It’s been a nightmare so far, but since watching this video, this looks perfect. And I think it’s small enough to fit in the trunk of a Super Mario Kart 🤘
I'm new to guitar MIDI (but not new to Super Mario Kart), and I gotta say, this came at the perfect time. I was just about to pull the trigger on a Morningstar MC6 Pro and, while the Mortrix looks great, I can't justify the price. This looks to be the best of both worlds and a great jumping off point for anyone new to MIDI. Nice work, Luminite!
Great video. Wish I had seen this 2 years ago, Super Mario Kart, as I currently use an Ampero Hotone 4 button Midi controller (via USB) with 4 extension buttons to control our Ableton software and XR-18, etc. Thanks for keeping us informed about new equipment!
My kid is addicted to Super Mario Kart right now. So we've been racing each other for weeks. He's almost good enough to beat me. Besides that this would be freaking awesome for my bands light show. Plus changing all our presets on our helix's. Thanks for doing these giveaways. You definitely are my favorite gear channel. I hope I win this one.
It’s absurd how interested I am in all the gadgets that you use, it is like we search for the same things. Super Mario Kart is a cool game actually haha
Very thorough content and well explained. Cant wait to try it to control my keyboard and iPad during gigs. Hope they can ship as fast as Super Mario Kart 😂😂
Your videos time to value you added is always great no matter the length. Super Mario Kart is life extending grey cell therapy. Can't wait to see what you show us next.
MIDI is a bit daunting to me yet but something I definitely would like to get into with my HX Stomp similar to how you're running yours. I'll need to revisit your other MIDI detail video again but super cool to see a device like this and how you make it look very easy to setup. Great video as always! Super Mario Kart was my favorite when I was a kid! :)
That's a pretty comprehensive review, thanks! The one thing I feel that's missing is LEDs on the footswitch pedals to give an indication what is selected when stomping some switch, like for instance the Pirate MIDI controllers have. In live action, I don't have more time, eyesight and brain power than to think "oh, red LED, solo mode".
I'm using Gig Performer on my laptop, and use the widgets (with their own lights) within it to show me which buttons are currently on. So, with GP I have a workaround.
This midi controller looks so amazing. Im kinda new to midi but this would boost my live gig immediatly. It looks super cool just like super mario cart.
As someone who has wandered through the MIDI programming valleys, I only wish there was a channel like yours when I was starting out. Thanks for all of the deep dives and documentation for products that are often severely lacking in info, even in other reviews *cough* Oh, and Super Mario Kart … Purple Monkey Dishwasher …
Thanks for the coupon code! Just grabbed a Graviton M2, two F10W foot switches, and an XY. Going to be running Ableton with them for looping, controlling some effects pedals and rack gear. M2 center stage, and an F10W for each side of the stage. Will keep the XY on my bass to switch songs. Stoked on how easy the programming will be!
Man this thing looks like an updated mini liquid foot for a fraction of the cost! This would play well with my Fractal rig I bet. Hopefully as well as I can play Super Mario Kart. Good vid as usual Scott.
Great video Scott - yes, I am "OK" with MIDI programming and I can still understand this video, so good job keeping it targeted to us beginners. The encoders seem to be a great offering!
Great video, Scott. This looks like an amazing setup. I've been fascinated with Midi since the 70s, but only recently started to work with it. Your videos have helped in my deeper understanding. Presently I'm using a Midi Captain for patch and snapshots selection on a Helix LT. I then use the LT's command center to send CC/PC signals to my GR55. While the Midi Captain in Super Mode is easy to program with my computer, this is substantially easier with the touchscreen. Go Super Mario Kart!
Yet another terrific and helpful video! What an awesome midi controller. Agreed that it is great to be able to program all of its deep features with just its display. Though hopefully, perhaps a software app could be in the future? -that could help speed the setup of multiple devices and a few hundred stage traxx songs. Then, I would definitely install it into my Super Mario Kart!
Super Mario Kart: I’m thinking this device sounds great! I’ve been using a Morningstar MC6 for years and have wanted to upgrade to the MC 6 Pro, but this appears to blow that out of the water with flexibility and price. Great video!
Interesting. I think the morningstar has a few aces too: - Midi Library for controlling many devices - Desktop / Tablet / phone editor (Seems a bit more comfortable than the small touch screen) This luminite looks really cool though especially with all the connecting devices. But without the above mentioned features, it feels a bit cumbersome.
This is FUNtastic! your videos are so informative, a real gold mine. I'm a developper and I can program most of the features of this device with the mididings API and use any MIDI hardware generation; Adding this device to my setup is now a no brainer, only for the EC/XY controllers and the fair price! My bad is that It could be very usefull for, us, programmers if we know if the device is detected on LINUX OS by ALSA or JACK. We never know if so, we have to buy the device before and check the result... don't forget LINUX users please!
Great content as always, Scott. I really want to start implementing MIDI into my live shows but it's very complicated... Thanks for making it much easier! It would be cool to program a MIDI controller to play Super Mario Kart
I'm a little German musician with a little band, and I have to give it a lot of praise for your videos, they've already helped us with a few things, especially when it comes to low budgets So Thank you and I guess I Like To Play Super Mario Kart :D
Ahh a Scott Uhl Luminite video.. this will be definitely be replayed loads of time. Thank you for your service to the midi world and Super Mario Kart! 👊🏻
I have seen these before and I was surprised that you have not yet reviewed them. These look awesome and now with you explaining all the magic I might look into getting one of these! Now off I go to a friend's house to play Super Mario Kart, I may even interest him about the controller too!
Way cool features on this. Definitely something I'd be interested in. Midi nerd speak makes my head spin but that's ok. I like learning new stuff. Haven't been a big video gamer since Pac-Man and Missile Command, but Super Mario Cart might be cool too. Thanks for the cool videos!!
Enjoyed this video! thanks as always for your insight and your explanation of how you set things up, and of course your considerations and priorities when setting up for life gigs. Appreciate you! Baby got back.
Nice video. I have no experience whatsoever with midi but it looks like it would be fun to mess with. If its good enough for Super Mario and his Kart, its good enough for me!
Hey Ross, congrats you actually were the winner of this giveaway! See my pinned comment as well as my post in my community tab to confirm (remember I'll never ask you for money). Please respond here or on that community tab post and then send me an email or Instagram message (links in description) and I'll get those sent out to you. Thanks again for following the channel!
Hey Scott! That's absolutely amazing news! I'll send you an email and thank you so much. Keep doing what you're doing and inspiring us all with fantastic content. Ross@ScottUhlMusic
Dude this is awesome! My old line 6 pedal is glitching out and this would be a great upgrade. I could play Super Mario Kart with my feet while leading worship 🤣
More than my usual offering for the algo But when I first started getting into music gear, MIDI seemed excessive and not really a great way to utilize function on your gear, but this is the type of stuff just shows how versatile it can really be. Thank you for showing me the way.
But the alternative was to have all your expensive gear out front and tap dance through the set while stage divers kept trampling everything to shreds. I've used MIDI since the mid 90's.
Really looking at one of these as of late. I use an airstep at present but it is very lacking in how it works (I can't use it in a fashion I want with my HX stomp due to how press and long press behave on the same switch). this looks awesome!
A midi controller like this would pair well with my groups concert rig. We just started implementing synth pedal effects with our newest “Super Mario Kart” arrangement as well as some new VGM music we plan to cover. Gonna keep doing so research as to how I can optimize midi with our stuff but this a a great eye opener on how effective a good controller can be. Thanks!
I think it may have been me who mentioned the Graviton in one of the comments. Honestly, this thing appeals to me more than the Morningstar. It's great that you put out a video on it. What is out there was short videos, but a more in-depth video was needed. Although I am a hobbyist at best, I appreciate your take on gear since your reviews are more sensible than others. Super Mario Kart was a lot of fun!
@@ScottUhlMusic I just sold a Nektar Pacer, which was good when it came out, but also very heavy and you needed the online app to program it. That plus your discount code...it seems I might be getting one of this soon.
Wow it's amazing. I only wish instead of the 4 TRS that it had loops there to control non- midi pedals. That would have been PERFECT! Thanks for the details on it!
Congratulations
Nice @RossGallagherMusic
Bought one , thanks for the coupon. Btw check out with cme team if the ble works (I will test too) maybe another video ;)
These are MIDI disrupters!
Just developed a MIDI controllable Teensy T4 Laser Synth PCB + MIDI mixer + Reaper 7 + 22" & 17" touch screens + 2 X 3W RGB laser projectors (Laserium living room 😜).

What a well designed MIDI Controller and Accessories. It is so easy to get lost and end up with a MIDI headache, but I was actually able to follow along. Good job Luminite and Scott! I'd love to see them in my Super Mario Kart. 💥
Love your videos Scott. They're almost as good as throwing those blue shells in Super Mario Kart!
Amazing. I have been looking for one of these. This is the best video I have seen so far. Thanks for the deep dive. Super Mario Cart.
I've played Super Mario Kart right from the 1st version, always a blast, how can you not love it.

Super Mario Kart cool! Love that the editor in the device itself and that the WIDI connected directly to it!
Very thorough content and well explained. Cant wait to try it to control my keyboard and iPad during gigs. Hope they can ship as fast as Super Mario Kart 😂😂
The midi game is nuts! Super Mario kart is timeless! Great vid once again uhl-ly!!!
Your videos time to value you added is always great no matter the length. Super Mario Kart is life extending grey cell therapy. Can't wait to see what you show us next.
Great video as always, Scott! I love playing Super Mario Cart!
Wow! You truly are the midi master Scott! What a fantastic Midi controller for my Super Mario Kart.
Thank you 🙏 I am quite the midi nerd haha
This is honestly very impressive!! One of the best pedal midi controllers I’ve seen. Great video Scott!! And yeah, I do love Super Mario kart 😅
Thanks! And I agree, it’s quite impressive and still pretty affordable for what it does!
Super Mario Kart! Scott, I’ve been looking for a midi controller and this looks fantastic!
Wow, really impressive piece(s) of kit....very powerful, thanks for this one!
SUPER MARIO KART

That's a pretty comprehensive review, thanks! The one thing I feel that's missing is LEDs on the footswitch pedals to give an indication what is selected when stomping some switch, like for instance the Pirate MIDI controllers have. In live action, I don't have more time, eyesight and brain power than to think "oh, red LED, solo mode".
I'm using Gig Performer on my laptop, and use the widgets (with their own lights) within it to show me which buttons are currently on. So, with GP I have a workaround.
I saw Jordan Pearson using the M1 and XY on his pedalboard yesterday and was quite impressed with all he can do with it. Cool!
This midi controller looks so amazing. Im kinda new to midi but this would boost my live gig immediatly. It looks super cool just like super mario cart.
Super Mario Kart is a lot of fun! This MIDI controller is insanely cool. I loved watching your video about it.
As someone who has wandered through the MIDI programming valleys, I only wish there was a channel like yours when I was starting out. Thanks for all of the deep dives and documentation for products that are often severely lacking in info, even in other reviews *cough*
Oh, and Super Mario Kart … Purple Monkey Dishwasher …
What a fantastic musical tool Scott, very impressive! ...even more impressive than a Super Mario Kart!

Another great job Scott! Super Mario Kart. There is a lot to digest here. I think I'll watch It again.
Great content as always, Scott. I really want to start implementing MIDI into my live shows but it's very complicated... Thanks for making it much easier!
It would be cool to program a MIDI controller to play Super Mario Kart
New to midi controllers for use by guitar players. Mind blown. Thanks!!!
Great video, as always! Thank you, Scott!
I’ve never played Super Mario Kart btw 😅
I'm a little German musician with a little band, and I have to give it a lot of praise for your videos, they've already helped us with a few things, especially when it comes to low budgets
So Thank you and I guess I Like To Play
Super Mario Kart
:D
Thank you!
Ahh a Scott Uhl Luminite video.. this will be definitely be replayed loads of time. Thank you for your service to the midi world and Super Mario Kart! 👊🏻
Thank you!
Another grate show Scott. I need MIDI in my life. You make it look so simple. I’m hoping you put one of those boxes in my Super Mario Kart my friend.
I have seen these before and I was surprised that you have not yet reviewed them. These look awesome and now with you explaining all the magic I might look into getting one of these! Now off I go to a friend's house to play Super Mario Kart, I may even interest him about the controller too!
This looks so much more fun than working with Super Mario Kart.
Great video. I have been looking at this pedals for a while and I think you just convinced me. Super Mario Kart
Thanks for posting. Looks like a very nice MIDI controller. Never played Super Mario Kart but played plenty of guitar ......
This looks super useful! I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Just like I've been waiting for a new Super Mario Kart!
Thanks for making a video on these, they look amazing - Super Mario Kart!
This is just amazing, Scott… just as Super Mario Kart!
Wow, such a great product & great review Scott. Thank you. (Super Mario Cart).
Little by little, I'm considering more and better MIDI options. Great vid! I guess that makes me a fan of Super Mario Kart. 😄
That is a sick little unit. And love me some Super Mario Kart. Thanks Scott.
Great video , and Súper Mario Kart is my favorite video game!
Looks like a great controller w incredible flexibility. Have not seen something this cool since Super Mario Kart.
Great content, as always, Scott :)
And I do love Super Mario Kart too, yes :P
Enjoyed this video! thanks as always for your insight and your explanation of how you set things up, and of course your considerations and priorities when setting up for life gigs. Appreciate you!
Baby got back.
Nice video. I have no experience whatsoever with midi but it looks like it would be fun to mess with.
If its good enough for Super Mario and his Kart, its good enough for me!
Amazing video!! I need this in my life!!! & I love Super Mario Kart
Thanks for this! Love the content. With one of these units I can finally configure my GigRig Atom to be my Mario Kart Controller....bless!
Another great video, Scott! If only my daughter had stopped asking me to play Super Mario Kart, I might have made it to the end in one go!

Hey man, did you send that email? I haven’t seen it if you did, so just wanted to check back in 👍
@@ScottUhlMusic Hey Scott! Yeah, I sent it to the email address found on your website. Is this the right one? I'll send another anyway. Ross
Loved to start my midi things with this! I would love to play Super Mario Kart today
Great Video as usual Scott! This thing does everything… I bet you could even use it as an N64 emulator to play Super Mario Kart
Dude this is awesome! My old line 6 pedal is glitching out and this would be a great upgrade. I could play Super Mario Kart with my feet while leading worship 🤣
More than my usual offering for the algo
But when I first started getting into music gear, MIDI seemed excessive and not really a great way to utilize function on your gear, but this is the type of stuff just shows how versatile it can really be.
Very good explainer, as always. Great video, great product. I want it more than playing Super Mario Kart right now.
Super Mario Kart This is an amazing product, had seen them before but was never sure about it, this firmly puts it on my wish list over a Morningstar!
Nice review and thanks for the discount
Great video thanks for giving us such a detailed explanation. Super Mario Kart
Thanks for this video! This looks like a cool product! Super Mario Kart! I always appreciate your knowledge when demonstrating new gear!
Dang. I think I might need to buy some of these! Fantastic video!
Thank Scott for the deep dive. Your the REAL DEAL.
I appreciate that 🤘
Wov i love that thing.. and your videos. And even the Super
Mario Kart
A midi controller like this would pair well with my groups concert rig. We just started implementing synth pedal effects with our newest “Super Mario Kart” arrangement as well as some new VGM music we plan to cover. Gonna keep doing so research as to how I can optimize midi with our stuff but this a a great eye opener on how effective a good controller can be. Thanks!
Yea, this looks right up my alley. Its either this or the MC6 Pro.
I own both, and I do like this one more. Especially because of the touch screen. It’s so nice!
@@ScottUhlMusic I just sold a Nektar Pacer, which was good when it came out, but also very heavy and you needed the online app to program it. That plus your discount code...it seems I might be getting one of this soon.
Thanks for your work..this is about the coolest midi controller I've seen..and super Mario cart!
Wow it's amazing. I only wish instead of the 4 TRS that it had loops there to control non- midi pedals. That would have been PERFECT!
Thanks for the details on it!
Super Mario Kart is cool and all, but let's not fotget crash tagteam racing too! Great video as always, Scott!
