Hensley JeanBaptiste thats impressive i always saw that game as too difficult and fast paced. usually most people have been usinf duel links but yourbway works great too
I actually find meta ygo more interesting because a lot of meta decks are more mechanically complex. Yeah, I get the floaty aspect of most meta decks, but that's not what makes me want to play them. It's what made me want to play zoo, and it's what made me want to play kaijus. I still play graydle-kaijus even now, because it's still fun for me.
"Teach it to your mom." Well you know what? I did, and now she beats me in it. Be careful who you drag into the community, they just might be better than you.
Detective Dragon001 I accidentally used the Seal of Orichalcos on my ex. We didn’t break up, she just sorta disappeared into this giant flash of light after our first game together ended..
some of the other annoying stereotypes include --------------------------------- -girls dont play yugioh -yugioh is for kids -not having deck boxes or mats makes u a bad player -a meta deck meaning theyll never lose -the idea that nobody still plays yugioh -nobody likes the current anime -the game encourages you to steal cards from stores -deciding someone isnt a real player if they dont have a trade binder
For the lack of deck box/sleeves/ mat, I don't think it makes you a bad player, although I may suggest that person to invest in them to protect their cards from scratching and foreign debris like Cheetos dust and saliva clumping on them, especially at a higher level event.
Look dude if your deck is more damaged than a battle axe in 1347 and you use a rubber band something telling me you aren't that good of a player unless you just did this for lolz
Lie 11. The heart of the cards isn't real. Once I was about to loose a duel. Had no cards in my hand, but I trusted my deck, and drew Marshmallon. It bought me enough time to draw the cards I needed to win the duel.
I think the "yugioh is dying" meme has to do with the fact that pokemon has raped the shelves of nearly every store, and any other stores focus on magic. I can walk into a target and pikachu is basically flashing me. Meanwhile, I just want to get a beaver warrior
It's really not people have finally realized that it's better to be a nerd and knowledgeable about something then a fucking idiot. And with just how much can be done once someone embraces that title with pride.
I like to separate nerd from geek or dork. The label "nerd" speaks to someone's knowledge and/or intelligence, while the latter two usually implied that someone is on the fringe, a bit anti-social... Being called a nerd is a badge of honor imo
brooo you can't do this video and not mention people who don't shower, don't wash their hands and want to "look" at your cards, people who bend your cards during a duel because they wan to read a text.
My favorite decks are HERO/Neo Spacians, and with a few exceptions of links to counter meta, they are pretty much only fusions, so its cool because many don't even use polymerization.
I think yugioh is quite difficult in terms of game rules. I'm a game designer, and it is legitimately one of the most messy rulesets Ive ever seen. I still have to stop, and mentally map a chain, and reread cards repeatedly to make sure everything is going correctly. It's not unlearnable though, and it's not even intimidating because the rules let you play along anyway (technically you're cheating) but as you get more obsessed/into the game, you learn the intricacies. I think the true difficulty of Yugioh (and the one im still struggling with) is that you need to know your opponents deck intricately to have any hope of negging the correct card to shut them down (or whatever).
Yugioh has so many rules because the rules are literally make to be broken, that’s where all the cards come in, allowing you to break the rules within the rules
Ok so the game is a box and all the rules are like more walls inside the box that only the cards can let you pass through more inner walls the more options and the more cards and the whole game is more specialized and personal and unpredictable and diverse, that’s where al lithe fun comes from; literally anything could happen
The rule set isn’t complex really. Not a yugioh fanboy btw just got into the game about a month or two ago and it’s took about 3 days to learn everything in the core rulebook. Avoid summons that seem too crunchy for you like link and pendulum summons. Understanding the rest of the game is very simple. The cards have a bit too much text - I’ll give you that - but those aren’t “rules” in my opinion. The rules are simple and the card effects are complex. But they are all clear, well laid out, and versatile.
I find everything said in this video so true. The lie about when people say that Yu-Gi-Oh! is dead and that it's for nerds really annoys me because it's obvious in the world that YGO is having an increasing fandom even if it isn't that clear. I'm a 15 year old girl from Saudi Arabia and I love YGO. I was the only one in my entire school who knew about it and played it. Sadly, that meant I had nobody to play with even though I just kept buying booster packs for myself. I eventually went to an IGN Convention in Bahrain in 2016 and I was able to participate in the small tournament there. I was surprised with when I saw many people other than normal boys playing. For God's sake, I saw a pregnant woman sitting down on a chair and was dueling her husband. My point is that people really shouldn't think that it's dying or everyone is a nerd.
You could play on yugioh duel nexus, who knows you might just run into me, I also have a group of duel nexus duelist friends on discord you’d be welcome in if you ever find yourself without competition
creativity is a blast in yugioh, my favorite moment while playing pendulum magicians at YCS dallas was as a side deck option was put kuraz the light monarch to counter anti spell fragrance. going against dark magician deck i pendulum summoned him and targeted my scales, the look on my opponents face was worth it, it completely caught them off guard.sure it got solemn striked but it was still a fun attempt. its just fun the little things you can do in decks
Lol yes the look on their face, but even better when they activate their face down sending a card to grave or banished or whatever and it turns out that that was the very thing you were counting on to finish them
Dude no one care about this joke anymore. Trying to be cool by saying some old shit. You ain't cool. You wanna be cool? Come up with your own yugioh shit
#11 you are too old to play yugioh #12 the more expensive your cards are the more likely you will win the duel #13 No one trades in yugioh anymore, it is a trading card game but most people just buy everything online
the trading part has a small dose of truth, people care more about the collective value of the cards on e-bay rather than how usefull the card really is. it kinda sucks, they take a bunch of my cards that they don't even plan to use. collectors suck.
In high school my friend was on the wrestling team, the swim team, and had like 4 AP classes. He was legit one of the best yugioh players at my high school.
You guys reminded me why I stopped having fun with the game as much as I used to. Ever since my team split apart in 2012, I had less and less reason to keep going. Even if we went to a regional together, we were going to have fun whether we won or lost. We had laughs. We had each other's backs. We always had fun playing each other. Unfortunately, a death of one of our significant others is really what lead to us drifting apart. 2014 was my last hurrah before Pendelums became a thing. Last year, however, was a bit of a comeback for me. I'm still not playing competitively, but I'm occupying my time with other creative cube projects. Before I quit competitive play, I bought three boxes of BP01, promising myself that no matter how much of my collection I'd get rid of, I'd hold on to those cards so that I could pick up and play with anyone, anytime. Now, I'm working on a "Six Samurai" format with various deck building guidelines and an errata'd gateway (changing it to one at a time I your control and its effect being once per turn).
Here's how to learn to play Yu-Gi-Oh Explain the main deck mechanics first IE: normal effect spell trap ritual Then slowly learn about each extra deck mechanic and how they interact with the main deck
Links are probably the only thing needed in today’s format to unlock more extra deck spaces. Yet again, you can either not play with extra decks or just play one extra monster at a time and not use links.
My friend always says, "Yugioh was better in *whatever gen of yugioh*." I like 2nd gen but I actually can look back and say I like a little of every other gen
Sorry, but I kinda have to disagree with the 1st "lie". While yes, you do not "need" to buy stuff like Ash Blossom to play a game of Yugioh, it is HEAVILY recommended that you should. I go to a locals every other weekend with a friend. I play Vendreads (it's kinda pricey, but not too bad) vs. my friend who plays Odd-Eyes/Magicians (Needless to say it was a tad bit more expensive to build). Nevertheless, he has more of a shot of winning because he had more money to start off with in this game than I did despite me playing this game for much longer and possessing more knowledge about the game. My point is that certain builds you as a player create can ultimately change the flow of the game. But what you put in those decks is was really matters. A $400-$700 deck will usually be better than a $100-$200 deck, unless that deck can be able to counter that "Meta" deck through an weird and obscure way of doing so, or just happens to just be the better deck overall. Money DOES in fact play a huge roll in this game; and if you want to win in some of these events big or small, you have to dish out loads of money in order to stand a chance in any format. I love Yu-Gi-Oh as it's own card game and as a series on T.V. I will always be a die-hard fan of it. I just don't want this game to just be a cash grab where the most rich player wins by default.
Megacharge Z Honestly, money is a deciding factor in everything, so I do agree with you to an extent. Although I can assure you my Blue-Eyes deck is capable of winning against most (not all) things, and it's between $75-175 Dollars (mostly because I budgeted).
@@nodupes2129 Net Decking Is A Plauge! Play around and learn for yourself! Stop trying to coast to the top on someone else's Experience and Hard Work!!!! Its not fair than someone can take Months Tweaking, and Playtesting,ONLY TOO BE Beaten by a carbon copy of MY deck. Your Deck IS YOURS TO MAKE. So Why Make a deck That someone else Uses????
For the Meta deck topic, I have only played one meta deck in its era one time. That was Inzecktors. Most of the time I play the Meta when it's time is passed. That ties into the cost topic. Very informative video guys. And thanks for your effort you put into this game
And phantom knights, and abyss sphere. The thing is, the basic of yugioh are still there, they just added more/different levels of interaction. These additions provide more challenge and chances of victory for the tactician willing to adapt.
When you don't realize that Trap Monsters were technically already a thing since the first series. *looks at Embodiment of Apophis and Machine King 3000 B.C.*
.... brilliant deduction, lol every game in existence is all about action reaction, the universe itself is all action reaction, the universe is chained to the Big Bang and even father back in time, to when God tipped that one domino just so to make the world how it is
It’s easy to think that Yu-Gi-Oh! Is no skill and just repeating combos if you’ve never played. They forget that their is another player who is responding to what you do.
Still waiting on the “differences between twins” video. I’ve been around long enough to tell the difference between them now, but it’ll be great for others.
I hate the whole '"that deck takes no skill" argument. Its bullshit. Like with spyral. I played it way before now and loved it as a rougue deck. It becomes meta and everyone and there mother says "it takes no skill" "you meta sheep" "i hate spyrals because they break the game" NIGGA
Brother Bear I feel ya man. Even just watching the deck from the outside, there are so many places in the combos you could mess up. I feel like the higher a deck gets in tier, the more skill it needs
I don't know if Yu-Gi-Oh is increasing or decreasing, but over-vamping production can also be a tactic if sales are decreasing, because it makes cards prices lower and it gives more access to them. More people would be willing to play if there's more options for them to make easier decks (possibly meta, like Pen. Mags. a while back) for an easy price. They may not have every single meta card in it, like Ash Blossom, but they're far more likely be able to make a good staple portion of the meta deck, then add cheaper substitutes.
1 - it's not a lie, plus in 2 years your 200$ deck is worth .5$ 3 - true 4 - only archetypes are viable, good luck with creativity in that 5 card flex spot 7 - KEKW, no normies will play TCG's, only NEETs have time to read 5k cards 8 ^ 10 - i'd wish, so that konami would sell the game to someone else
I agree with this video, I once win a local tournament I think during infernity format with Crystal Beasts, no one knew how to side vs me. It was great
I think it’s a good thing to be a nerd. My friends and I are weight lifters, I was in the army, I have a firefighter friend, someone else going to the fire academy and we all love yugioh, marvel, Star Wars, etc all the nerd stuff. We all got back into yugioh and it wasn’t hard to get into, just took some time to learn everything “new” that came after synchros for us
Meta decks were indeed a grand, like in January. Or Lightsworn with Minerva before the reprint, we even had the unfortunate armed robbery event of a guy simply because he had a Minerva in his deck.
The first one isnt a lie tho. Just because you can get a cheap structure deck or create a $5 deck by buying 40 cards that cost a few cents each, doesnt change the fact that you need a pretty pricy deck to even compete with actual good players. A cheap deck won't win that many matches even if we're just talking about casual games. Most people wont be satisfied with playing with the bare minimum. They will want to improve and duel more powerful opponents. In order to do that, they'll have to buy cards that are more expensive,. It shouldn't be like this, there are so many card games out here that are cheaper than yugioh. Even the OCG's cards are cheaper than the TCG's cards. The only reason why yugioh is more expensive in the west is because of short printing and rarity bumps.
ESAM of Smash bros plays yugioh, and the smash commentator EE played Tellarknight at an ARG and commentated at another, but those are online celebs i suppose
I usually build deck themes few people thought of such as goblin attack force monsters w/3 copies of final attack orders, kuribohs w/final,old direct attack monsters w/2 copies of gravity bind & level limit area-B,normal monsters w/orichalcos
My group of friends back in college ranged between a whole spectrum of nerdy/normy. I was the typical social awkward, one was a stoner frat, one being a history buff, one being a US Marine, and the last one being the typical nerd and all of us played Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, MTG, Warhammer, and D&D
Fun fact: My High School football team and Track team did play Yugioh, and two of them were really good. This was around early Zexal (Power of Chaos/Galactic Overlord) when they jumped in. One played Six Sams and Gusto, which was cool cause I've never played against it. The other played Wind-Ups and HEROs, but would use Grandmole in every deck and it worked.
Hey fellas need you guys help regarding a ruling with Queen Dragun Dijinn effect working with Tyrant dragon. Queen Dragun effect states that by detaching an xyz material you can special summon a level 5 or higher dragon from the graveyard. The special summon dragon can’t attack and it’s effects are negated but with Tyrant dragon being special summoned from the graveyard it requires a dragon to be sacrificed too so if you guys could help me out regarding the ruling I’d appreciate it or point me in the right direction so i can look it up myself thanks 🙏🏾
I feel like one lie is that only certain decks can win. I mean, I understand that some decks are stronger than others, but even the weakest decks have beaten the tier 0s at some point. It's just a matter of how you play
Here's one I have heard in the past couple years. Traps/Vanillas/Rituals/etc. are useless. Not true. Each set of cards has an environment they work best with. Basically, a card can be useless if you don't combo or use it right. Even "battle traps." Granted, they aren't always going to be successful, but they do still see competitive play from time to time. The fact is, anyone can play a card, but knowing how to use it in the desired situation takes real skill.
Debunked the first "lie" if you want to play remotely competitively you ARE forced to pay for expensive cards here and there, some being ridiculous like Ash and recently it was a must to play or side 2-3 which is 140$ at least
Not to mention if you get more involved into the game it becomes addictive to make more than just a deck or two because there's so many and eventually you're bound to stumble across some pricey cards
yugioh is expensive to make a decent deck ,especially for people without a lot of money(like kids)and nearly all the good or necessary cards now are like rare or higher with most commons being just janky specific use cards, and when you add the fact that the good cards of any archtype are usually spread out over like 3 sets it makes it really unfriendly to new players, especially when this game is supposed to be children's card game(children don't usually get a lot of money too obviously) the only thing that has been a redeeming quality for making a decent deck now is the better structure decks they are releasing which actually can put up some competition to what the game has become, who can get the otk.
I feel you guys on the nerd thing. I'm a blue belt in jiu jitsu, pancrase, and I train mma and when I'm not choking someone out or getting punched in the face, I love playing yugioh :)
MtG, like Yu-Gi-Oh!, is as expensive as you want it to be. One of my favorite and most consistent Modern-legal decks is way cheaper than decks I regularly beat. That said, Vintage and Legacy can get pricy. Commander too. But so can Yu-Gi-Oh!, and that's just the truth.
5:22 This is something I've struggled with, wanting to build a Fur Hire deck (I finally have playsets of each card coming in). When I use it in Legacy of the Duelist, at a high level it seems like I'm just doing the same thing over and over: Get Beat onto the field as quickly as possible, then Recon and Donpa to pop cards, Bravo for more ATK, Rafale to excavate and negate if needed, and Folgo to get someone new on the field to continue the spam and potentially draw 3. This is an ideal play, but I guess in real life, I'd run into things that would require some cards to be swapped out or change who I want to summon.
But I really do think that you guys do and terrific awesome job and I'm always waiting for more because there's not a lot of players out there or really trying to help people get better and you guys do that so well so thank you so much
The game is so complex! I’d like to apply my opinion to this one. Yes, the game is easy to pick up if you start them off with all of the simpler mechanics, but as someone who’s taught two people how to play, the different type of effect monsters like gemini, all that. Chains as well, and trying to learn all of the extra deck cards and differences. Yes, THOSE are complicated. Easy to learn, hard to master is an okay way to sum it up, but in reality its simple to know the basics, but the inner subtexts of mechanics are what make it complicated for new players. So simple to learn, hard to master isn’t exactly what I would consider accurate. That said, love your content team APS. Have a good day lol.
What about when someone says that if you don't play meta you're not a true YGO player? I've had that done to me before. Though, it was satisfying when I trashed his deck (I don't remember the archetype) with my Different Dimension Cyber Gadgets. Trust me that deck is hard as hell to play, but if played right, devastation is the key word. Luv yer vids, even when they're a few years old. Keep up the useful information!
When I got back into Yu-Gi-Oh! with Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the duelist it took me a day to learn XYZ and synchro not only that but build a deck around it. Pendulum took me minutes to understand and start using so it’s not that complicated but it can be overwhelming. Yu-Gi-Oh! Is so relaxing to play but I do have my downs I still haven’t really mastered the new mechanics yet but I’m getting there I pull it off more now than when I got back into it.
This is so untrue. Top players absolutely have to follow certain cards and steps to win, yes other players play other cards but still have to absolutely follow exact steps. It’s all combos everything has to happen at the right time in the right situation. Your deck is all searching cards because the only thing that can’t be controlled is the cards you pick up after shuffling and cutting
Having access to budget decks doesn't disprove that the game is indeed quite expensive. Konami also makes some products that are ridiculously overpriced.
Funny thing is, most of my current D-Hero deck came from when I bought a Destiny Soldiers booster box for like...$50. The rest came from trading cards I didn't need from the box or from D-Hero cards I've had from since they first came out back in 2006.
I run a version of Red-Eyes of my own creation called "Red-Eyes Burndown", which mixes Red-Eyes Burn elements with Dragon Beatdown, supporting Flare Metal with Galaxy-Eyes, Red Dragon Archfiend and White Night Dragon (all Monsters with 3000 ATK) and powering them all up through Solidarity! And then there are the stronger Monsters! I also run both a Destiny HERO Fusion, T.G. Synchro and Zexal Weapon which, between them, barely cost me, like, £20-£30! An expensive game? No creativity? Your Honour, I rest my case! Plus, I always say we're super nice to each other! When we're not Duelling, that is, then it's dog-eat-dog!
I wish there was more "debunking" in this video, because a lot of the things you guys say isn't true is. For example: Yugioh IS hard to learn. The various definitions and timings interwoven with poorly worded texts and countess mechanics means that even at the top levels players are still seen making illegal plays. The moment you try to discuss the difference between an innate summon and an effect summon, you'll see potential players throw their hands up and quit trying. You DO have to play X summoning mechanic. It's called Master Rule 4. The game IS based around making unbreakable boards. If your deck is good at it, then you're meta. If your deck is bad at it, then you're rogue. Either way, the whole point of the first turn is to set up a series of defenses to that your opponent cannot get around. If you don't have these defenses, then your opponent can easily put down enough damage to kill you in one turn. Even if the duel isn't technically "over" turn 1, a lot of the time the outcome of the duel is decided there. A lot of people don't even play raigeki or twin twisters in the main anymore, because those cards don't contribute to building an unbreakable board. Yugioh IS dying. Card games in general are going the way of the dodo. Now that everything is online and everything is also on a smartphone, the medium of physical cards is cumbersome, overly expensive, and everything the cards would provide are given by online things. Younger people are no longer getting into card games. The reason why Yugioh may appear stable at times is because the players who liked the game 15 years ago are still alive and people don't get serious about life until the age of 40 now. But, that dropoff is going to come eventually.
Everything you say holds nothing but the truth, the part that hit me was the last paragraph, nobody plays it anymore, not where I live atleast, I remember as a kid around 03-06, the cards could be bought literally everywhere around that time and now-a-days if I were to buy cards, whether it would be in the form of booster packs or structure decks I woulf have to travel by car for nearly 2 hours, and this includes playing at a local. I've tried getting people to play with me and they laugh at spending any money on cardboards, and I've offered up for them to try my deck and they literally quit after having to read the massive amount of text, since truth be told, now-a-days you read more text then actually play. The reading however doesn't bother me at all, but I would say it's scary for a newcomer and also me coming back to all these new summonings, I didn't mind it all, I quite frankly like the new mechanics but from what I've seenI don't think it's worth at all getting back to the game if you're in the same position I was in, coming back to the game after being inactive for so long and not having people to play with.
Hey, I have a video request. Could you guys do a video on the weaknesses of meta decks/really strong decks? I don't live near anywhere where tournaments are held so I cant go places to duel others much, and online versions dont help as much, so I think this would be helpful to people in a similar situation where we would like to build our decks to combat these decks even if we may not be die hard players.
They're usually meta because they don't have many weaknesses, or those weaknesses are very difficult to actually exploit. But once this format settles in some, I'd be happy to make a video about this.
I dunno about the Quilphort decks. I have an Odd-eyes/Magician deck and it's beat out 3 Quilphort decks so far. On another note there's no flow chart/set strategy for playing. I've been backed into a corner and came up with a on the fly strategy with the cards in my hand and on the field that got me back in the duel.

What an interesting story!
This comment should get more likes.
What deck the you mainly run?
You could play on yugioh duel nexus, who knows you might just run into me, I also have a group of duel nexus duelist friends on discord you’d be welcome in if you ever find yourself without competition
That Yu-Gi-Oh is dying part tho. I was laughing lol
The way you said it reminded me of the Spongebob chicken meme.
creativity is a blast in yugioh, my favorite moment while playing pendulum magicians at YCS dallas was as a side deck option was put kuraz the light monarch to counter anti spell fragrance. going against dark magician deck i pendulum summoned him and targeted my scales, the look on my opponents face was worth it, it completely caught them off guard.sure it got solemn striked but it was still a fun attempt. its just fun the little things you can do in decks
Lol yes the look on their face, but even better when they activate their face down sending a card to grave or banished or whatever and it turns out that that was the very thing you were counting on to finish them
Stratos is still banned.... YUGIOH IS DEAD
If Stratos wasn't banned the world would be a better place.
So anyway how's your sex life?

He's back bitches!!
Dude no one care about this joke anymore. Trying to be cool by saying some old shit. You ain't cool. You wanna be cool? Come up with your own yugioh shit
I hate the stereotype of nerds playing card games. I've met pretty much every type of person through Yu-Gi-Oh.
Because people don't think thinking of complex strategies is cool even tho that's what got well known as anyone doing any hobby
Three years ago: “Competitive Yugioh doesn’t have to be expensive!”
Hand traps & Imperm: exists now.
#11 you are too old to play yugioh
#12 the more expensive your cards are the more likely you will win the duel
#13 No one trades in yugioh anymore, it is a trading card game but most people just buy everything online
the trading part has a small dose of truth, people care more about the collective value of the cards on e-bay rather than how usefull the card really is.
it kinda sucks, they take a bunch of my cards that they don't even plan to use.
collectors suck.
What lies have you been told about Yu-Gi-Oh?
"You don't need 3 Ash Blossoms."
@Eric Gaiser those people talk bullshit
The lie I was told was you need to play the meta to win.
12:14 "Well, I didn't draw this set of cards, I can't lose"
*cries in Garnet*
"Look at me. What am I besides a nerd? Look at them; are they not nerds?" LOL I was dying. You guys are awesome.
And nerds
Competitive Yu-Gi-Oh will always be expensive
Unless you play online
In high school my friend was on the wrestling team, the swim team, and had like 4 AP classes. He was legit one of the best yugioh players at my high school.
I think if anyone looked at me in real life they’d have no idea I played Yu-Gi-Oh. Or that I was a RUclips commenter...
I just wish there were actually people around me that played.
skylar lawrence me too
skylar lawrence what's your name on dueling nexus
Here's how to learn to play Yu-Gi-Oh
Explain the main deck mechanics first
IE: normal effect spell trap ritual
Then slowly learn about each extra deck mechanic and how they interact with the main deck
Honestly probably my favorite yugitubers other than simplyunlucky definitely would be cool to see u guys collaborate
Thats a bad idea
Pokémon Trainer Jacob
And that is one of my points. There are just decks who just have it better than others.
I got my invite with a deck that only had one card exceeding $20 in value
send me that blue eyes deck list real quick.

For the Meta deck topic, I have only played one meta deck in its era one time. That was Inzecktors. Most of the time I play the Meta when it's time is passed. That ties into the cost topic. Very informative video guys. And thanks for your effort you put into this game
I had a friend that quit when pendulums came &he said there would be monster traps that came out after that so he quit and gave me over 4000 cards
Well, he wasn't wrong (looks at paleozoic)
And phantom knights, and abyss sphere. The thing is, the basic of yugioh are still there, they just added more/different levels of interaction. These additions provide more challenge and chances of victory for the tactician willing to adapt.

That’s twice as many cards as I have
Yu-Gi-Oh is a game about reaction more that anything. You react to you opponents plays and to how your own plays work out
.... brilliant deduction, lol every game in existence is all about action reaction, the universe itself is all action reaction, the universe is chained to the Big Bang and even father back in time, to when God tipped that one domino just so to make the world how it is
It’s easy to think that Yu-Gi-Oh! Is no skill and just repeating combos if you’ve never played. They forget that their is another player who is responding to what you do.
it's not about hard it is to learn, it's about how good the person teaching you is

Grif VII finally, someone is asking the questions that truely matters.
There is someone on the YGO amino who is always making fun of everyone's decks.
Ah. There's someone similar in the Duel Links community. I suggest you to be careful of them.
I think the most stupid and annoying lie in Yugioh is when people say the game is for kids.
The thing about the first "lie" is that it's absolutely true when it comes to Duel Links.
NOTIFICATION SQUAD ON THE LATE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
Eragon Williams i think i just like complicated decks. Except world chalice. I like complicated but not 20 minute turn complicated
Brother Bear I've yet to face a world chalice. But the more I hear about it, I'm probably gonna bring popcorn for their turn.
Eragon Williams popcorn? Make sure you bring an extra large soda. Cuz that first turn you are gonna be watching a movie
Brother Bear
They're always playing something dumb like chain burn or something too.
1 - it's not a lie, plus in 2 years your 200$ deck is worth .5$
3 - true
4 - only archetypes are viable, good luck with creativity in that 5 card flex spot
7 - KEKW, no normies will play TCG's, only NEETs have time to read 5k cards
8 ^
10 - i'd wish, so that konami would sell the game to someone else
Naw he said we could attack it’s too late. Lmao great video!
yo the insight on the meta spot on way to put it into words
What up squad hit like for this awesome video. Thanks for everything you guys do

I agree with this video, I once win a local tournament I think during infernity format with Crystal Beasts, no one knew how to side vs me. It was great
This video definitely felt 5 years old when they said there was “soon to be” good link decks.
O-o its a children's card game and people acting like this? God damn.

Wait, what celebrities play yugioh?!
that i know of, internet celebrities. Linkara is an example
The singer of the band that did the new Vrains ending used to play it as a teen
ESAM of Smash bros plays yugioh, and the smash commentator EE played Tellarknight at an ARG and commentated at another, but those are online celebs i suppose
A DJ names Slushii plays Yugioh
The biggest lie is that this is a children's trading card game
ON MOTORCYCLES!
All Yu-Gi-Oh players are nerds!? There's 6 of us on the wrestling team that play Yu-Gi-Oh, that's a bare faced lie, great video guys!

So silly these games end in 1 turn now.
yugioh is expensive to make a decent deck ,especially for people without a lot of money(like kids)and nearly all the good or necessary cards now are like rare or higher with most commons being just janky specific use cards, and when you add the fact that the good cards of any archtype are usually spread out over like 3 sets it makes it really unfriendly to new players, especially when this game is supposed to be children's card game(children don't usually get a lot of money too obviously) the only thing that has been a redeeming quality for making a decent deck now is the better structure decks they are releasing which actually can put up some competition to what the game has become, who can get the otk.
2 years later, getting OTK by someone everyday 😂
I feel you guys on the nerd thing. I'm a blue belt in jiu jitsu, pancrase, and I train mma and when I'm not choking someone out or getting punched in the face, I love playing yugioh :)
People think yugiohs expensive? Better not tell them about Magic the gathering lol
My competitive RG Eldrazi deck costs less than a playset of Evenly Matched
@yugimoy Just one example.
I was talking about formats like vintage, legacy, and modern
It's just that like im not gonna go to my class and see people talking about the new banlist that just dropped
Bad time to say there's a strong unbreakable board deck now that Trigate Wizard is out. Those SPYRAL boards can get insane, even with the banlist.
I can go on and on forever plz make another one of these
when you order 20 cards and its been more than a month and you are still waiting
+Ski Mask is the Goat You should contact the seller and let them know, especially if you have any tracking information.
At locals, I still rock a modernized version of an Arcana Force deck for shits and giggles.
Does that make me a helmet player?
Arañas?! You must have Joey's legendary luck. Keep it up dude!
How is the entire community toxic if these guys are in it
This is so untrue.
Haven't play the game not being stoned for about 8 years acually
It’s expensive if you want to play competitively still. That’s the problem.
I mean, salamangreat is pretty cheap
I wish there was more "debunking" in this video, because a lot of the things you guys say isn't true is. For example:
Yugioh IS hard to learn.
Damn you guys are so fun, i would like to know all of you in person and have some fun talking about yugi and many other shitty games lmao
A good duel is one that goes back and forth not one sided. I was able to beat quilphort with ninja, and tied with kozmo using a synchro turbo.
Alright, awesome. Thanks for responding!
Wow lie 3 where they say it’s not a one turn game.... must have hurt them when danger dark world came into existence (I know this is an old video😂)
