*Great reel, **enjoyable.fishing** recommend very smooth and I love that you can change from left hand to right hand so easily. Gave it a 4 on durability because I haven’t had it long enough to rate it. Doing good so far.*
I want to do the exact same thing with my Diawa BG-15. That rectangular wood handle on it is great for reeling, however if your reeling hand is jarred off the handle by a big strike it can be very hard to place that hand back quick enough on it. The end of the rectangular profile of it tends to want to carreem?sp?) off your fingers. I want to put a big round handle on it. That way I can jam back down on it without regard to orientation.
The challenge is getting the right size knob for the reel your using. I bought 2 of them in the past and they were larger then expected. 38mm 39mm 40mm etc Can never realy get a perf fit
I Recently purchased a Power Knob for my Dawia BG 4500. They had good reviews and it is supposed to give you more Torque and Leverage when Cranking/Jigging... I followed all the Instructions and made a drill fitment. Now its on and all but the Knob itself does not spin freely and it is hard to reel and very awkward. What gives??? The Size is a 45mm and was recommended for this size reel.
Napalm Poet So you just ordered a knob only? I don't know any one selling the shaft. But if your cabo has removable knob and has same shaft diameter you can just replace the knob.
Dam I was hoping you would say it said the same when you bought it but it cam with shaft anyway....well I emailed them but were was your shaft from, do I need to buy a legit diawa shaft to match with the knob and arm now? And no cabo has a rivited handle
Ah recieved email back saying knob comes with shaft too. Couldnt recommend Tsuribi's service high enough!! Dont be afraid to email and ask which knob will suit your reel :)
The shaft is not made of aluminium. It is stainless steel. The screw is stainless steel as well. If it fails, it would fail on the aluminium handle not the steel shaft and screw.
Hi, cool video. I am interested as to where you got the shaft and bearings from? I am assuming the new knob/ handle comes as a kit with inner shaft, sleeve and bearing? a link would be great. thank you.
Thanks! I bought the knob from an eBay shop. I don't remember the seller but if you seach 'reel knob' quite a few shows up. Make sure you select correct knob size and whether it comes with shaft or not. Once I bought a knob for my 2000 size reel but ended up on 4000 reel.
For the bearings, some comes with bearings and some with bushes. Once you select the knob check the size of the bearing/bush that come with. Toss them in the bin and buy stainless bearings to suit. Most likely the bearings come with are chrome steel bearings which is useless in fishing reels. They rust in 2 second flat in saltwater environment.
Thank you for sharing. The Tsuribi knob can be purchased at our eBay shop: stores.ebay.com/anglersvision scroll down on your left and click onto "Tsuribi"

Where did you buy the components for the shaft?
ebay. Make sure you buy knob and shaft. There are so many sellers selling for knob only - useless.
Привет дружище у меня Шимано твин 3000 ! Тоже кноб разболтался думаю переставить какиугодать с размером ??? И вообще держатся не отволился ???
Can you change the knob on a Penn spinfisher 650ssn or ssg
nelson xiong I don't see why not. I have a couple of SSV and they look similar to Daiwa - riveted shaft.
dDerDol Man hey we're did u get the shaft and screw at
How can i the knob of my DAIWA Oceano 4500J for a power round knob??
You need to buy a power knob with shaft/pin. One shown in this video came with the shaft. Rest should be the same.
dDerDol Man thx man!! =)
Cheers mate. Just ordered one for me quatum cabo, cant wait. My ebay item said shaft not included tho, cant find where to buy either :(?

Napalm Poet The shaft came with the knob is what you have to use. Should fit to the handle.
Why can't the aluminum shaft go through the hole instead of a tiny screw holding onto the shaft? I hate that it feels weak.
The shaft is not made of aluminium. It is stainless steel. The screw is stainless steel as well.
If it fails, it would fail on the aluminium handle not the steel shaft and screw.
So all the screws came with the knob?
One I bought, yes.
Could you supply me a link for buying the screws to fit RCS knobs please
whats the brand of this knob?
Tsuribi. There are better looking (read more expensive) knobs but they don't come with the shaft.
This is medium size.
Awesome. Thanks
Possible for the penn battle 2 6000?
I don't see why not. Get a knob with shaft.

Anti-clock wise, left handed thread😄😄😄
I don't understand why do you have to drill it
With pressed in rivets, you have to drill out the center to collapse the rivet's flanges before you pull out the shaft/rivet assembly.
