Now (on my run with friends) I have most of the cash on the server (20 platinium) and I need to keep it cuz im some kind of mechanic on our game: I make farms, arenas, tricks etc.

I'd go for hellstone bar, just need obsidian potion and dive straight into the hell biome lava and start collecting, obsidian is fairly easy to get. That's how I got platinum pre hardmode

Sumoning the Goblin Invasion at the start is a great way to get some insanely powerful early hardmode weapons as well. The Goblin Summoners drop the Shadowflame Knife, Bow, and Hex Doll, all are incredibly powerful and can easily carry you through beating the mech bosses and beyond.
I don't like the hex doll its to short range and somehow is really easy to miss but the rest are good I still use the shadowflame knife and I'm post planterra
I preferred the Daedalus Stormbow for the mech bosses as you can build a few platforms and outmanouver them while using holy arrows to wreck havok. oh and frost armour to help with that. (also you can pretty easily get souls of flight if you have found a floating island and then just find a snow biome and kill the ice golems (1 in 3 chance of dropping an item you can use to craft really good wings) the shadowflame knife is good for most hardmode enemys though and you can use it at night to run around without torches on the ground before you build a skybridge.
Goblin invasion decided to happen just as i got into hardmode, my best weapon was an Amarok and i got destroyed somehow i picked up the shadowflame bow at the end

The absolute first thing I do when hardmode begins is go down to the spider biome and farm black recluses for the spider armor and spider staff. It makes going through hardmode so much easier and the little spider babies do tons of damage.

My favourite thing to do in order to fly through hardmode is make a simple spider farm in pre-hardmode, and then farm spiders once I kill the WoF. The armor and staff is insanely good to start and you don't need to do much effort to get it. I've been able to go from starting hardmode to killing the Twins insanely quickly with this method, and it's really underrated.
Happy you covered everything I like in hardmode, but one of my favorites is finding all the lootable statues in pre and lava farming them for gold, golem statues drop the night vision helmet for 2 gold each, cha-ching.
happy, you are forgetting the MOST importand tip : right before hard mode, get a crapton of crates and crack 'em open right at the begining of hard mode cuz you get hard mode ores
To help with mining hardmode ores, you can make a very simple spider farm in the underground spider biome. Crafting the Spider armour and staff is a great way to get a bunch of minions to fight for you while you mine
" your world will generate the hallow biome" So why do I have only underground hallow but not surface hallow??? All the world I create are weird. I once made a world for farming in dungeon and in the dungeon I could see 7 altars in a row... I made a playthrough world and the jungle temple had no door...
If you’re melee and having trouble killing the mechs, try crafting the Dao of Pow. It is fairly easy to craft, and could probably kill the Twins fairly easily.
as someone who has played on mobile for the majority of the time i have had terraria, i can say that mobile terraria is for weaklings. everything you need to get through the game is pretty much handed to you. the real G's play on PC and PS4/XBOX
These seem like really good tips, especially for hardcore characters. In hardcore you'll want to avoid destroying altars until you're ready though, so you don't accidentally spawn one of the mechanical bosses.
I made my own pirate trap by trapping the ship and building the trap around it, and having a layer of lava where the pirates would jump out. The ship stays there after the invasion ends so you can go afk for as long as you want and just collect everything.
My favorite thing when I first entered hard mode was mining and skipping to find adamantite ore, and after that farming ice cores in the ice biome when it rained and make frost armor. Because I like the ranged class, thanks for the tips
My favorite thing that I did was get into the Lizard temple before hardmode, stealing a bunch of spike traps, get the mechanic (for wiring), create a room in the sky with spike traps outside of it (with a one sec timer), camp there and kill the destroyer without taking damage, farm him, get full hallowed armor, create the Excalibur, wait until the solar eclipse, farm broken swords (Im on old gen console so I can get them from Frankenstein’s and swamp things), create the true Excalibur and true nights edge, and create the terra blade with only killing one mech boss.

Now I'm having a hard time fighting the twins because they both have two-way attacks and I'm playing on the mobile version which limits the screen instead of on the pc. How about enter the lizard tample no key?

Yeah, I’m struggling with the twins as well. I finally made the terra blade and it does about 141 melee damage with all my buffs. I was able to kill 5 skeletons in one night, it’s OP. Sadly it’s the best sword in the old gen console because it doesn’t have the zenith. The twins are hard, but I probably could’ve done it if I built an arena. I have a jungle key mold, which requires the temple key to craft a jungle key. Since I already broke into the temple, I can use the key to get the piranha gun.
Make an afk lava trap, make sure it’s wide enough, and if you’re a mage, or summoner, do it one block above an spider biome, that way you’ll get a poison staff or spider armor
Mincart track, seed farm for potions-use staff of regenration, set above ground glowing mushroom biome. Use actuators to collect more quickly. Underground mushroom for trouffle worms. Unlimited bait farm. Boots yo-yo seeds net. Go fishing, for crates. Massive head start. Move witch doctor to jungle for wongs

I was playing terraria today and literally the first hard mode night was a blood moon, next day was another blood moon + twins, then the next night was another blood moon. After that I was so done Oh and also while I was fighting WoF a goblin army arrived so it got upgraded right when I beat it
There's something I do that may or may not ruin game progression for some people. Step 1: while still in pre-hard mode farm the old one's army until you get a enough medals for a balista cane(not rod, cane tier unlocks after you beat 1 mech boss) That costs 20 medals I think, and +45 medals for a full set of squire armor. 2 - Make a bride out of stone in hell before the wall of flesh, as soon as hardmode comes part of the bridge will turn hallow and part crimson/corrupt. 3 - once in hardnode make a box in the sky with a puddle of honey, heart lantern, campfire and bast statue. If you get some heart statues you should wire that with a timer as well. On the sides of the box put doors and wall it inside, put torches in front of the door from the inside so enemies can't open it. Put platforms on each side of the door enough so nornal enemies can spawn from both sides. Halfwayin the way to your box make a layer of dungeon bricka and buy some dynamite. 4 - Farm souls of night and craft a couple mechanical worms. 5 - climb your sky box and plant some sentries on each side of the box, down on your feet have platforms so you can toss dynamite. The sentries will be still cane tier but damage is not key here, their purpose is to help push the probes away and kill the eventual weak enemies that will spawn lile demon eyes and zombies, have a treasure magnet or hand of creation equiped or heart reach potion. Have some regeneration buff accessory like a charm of myths or band of regeneration. 6 - Summon the destroyer, early as possible in the night, have your potikn and food buffs active and a sword that can hit wide and fast, preferably night's edge but bladg of grass with large or massive reforge or blood butcher would do, the purpose is not damage but to push the probes away, it shouldn't be volcano because is too slow and you might miss the probes. Throw down dynamite until destroyer is killed eventually pushing away the probes and healing with honey and potions. As soon as destroyer is defeated do not craft any hallowed armor piece, use those medals you farmed in pre hardmode to get a full set of squire armor, squire armor is powerful enough to carry you up to golem on expert or up to moonlord on classic. Use instead the hallow bars to craft excalibur or gungnir since they benefit from squire set more than other types of weapons.
Also, if you hammer the middle blocks where the lava is 1 time, an get a grapple an the toxikarp, an go into the middle where the chests are etc, grapple to the middle blocks, point the toxikarp up an just spam shoot it while the pirates fall in, it'll hit the pirates aswell as lava hits. I just found that out, not sure if another weapon works. Making the process a ton faster.
But every time you break a crimson alter or corruption altar there's a 60% chance of a crimson block or corruption block from generated anywhere in your world
The best thing to do is pre-hardmode fish for a bunch of crates then when you get to hardmode open all the crates and you'll have loads of the new ores
1: Get daedalus stormbow. 2: Get slime statue. 3: Make immortality machine. 4: Kill twins/skeleton. 5: Make hallowed jousting lance. 6: Get inner tube. 7: Make unlimited damage machine. 8: One shot every single boss the game has to offer.
Here is other things you should do - worldwide railroad, if you're in a big world, you might need some quick deplacement. Mechanical cart is the fastest way to travel if you're in expert mode. (Unless you manage to do a teleportation room) Rails are also cheap to craft. (One iron ingot + one wood to get 50 of thoses) try to connect it to a sky lake also, it's useful. - goblin army to get Easy powerful loot - place more NPC rooms - artificial mushroom biome - deadlaus stormbow+holy arrows, and just... anihilate the destroyer
You can easily get 1 platinum by selling 2 stacks of stained glass windows. Make a gem farm, craft a shovel, stack a lot of sand. Easy work than farming mobs.

Craft gems and glass together in workbench. _Note: You need a lot of sand, like LOTS. 3,000 or more, which is why I recommend getting a shovel._ _To make a shovel:_ Make a graveyard. Place an anvil in graveyard. You will need 12 iron/lead bars and 3 woods. The shovel only works on soft blocks (dirt, mud, sand, ash, silt, snow) by the way.
One thing i like to after hard mode is to spread the hallowed near my base before i break any demon/crimson altars. That way incase the corruption/crimson does go near my base it wont be affected much since the hallowed is on my base.

happened to me, and the stone that got corrupted was even the blocks that was in the biomes that I blocked off so it wouldn't be infected ;C

The absolute first thing I do when hardmode begins is go down to the spider biome and farm black recluses for the spider armor and spider staff. It makes going through hardmode so much easier and the little spider babies do tons of damage.

My favourite thing to do in order to fly through hardmode is make a simple spider farm in pre-hardmode, and then farm spiders once I kill the WoF. The armor and staff is insanely good to start and you don't need to do much effort to get it. I've been able to go from starting hardmode to killing the Twins insanely quickly with this method, and it's really underrated.

Happy you covered everything I like in hardmode, but one of my favorites is finding all the lootable statues in pre and lava farming them for gold, golem statues drop the night vision helmet for 2 gold each, cha-ching.

To help with mining hardmode ores, you can make a very simple spider farm in the underground spider biome.
Crafting the Spider armour and staff is a great way to get a bunch of minions to fight for you while you mine

If you’re melee and having trouble killing the mechs, try crafting the Dao of Pow. It is fairly easy to craft, and could probably kill the Twins fairly easily.

as someone who has played on mobile for the majority of the time i have had terraria, i can say that mobile terraria is for weaklings.

These seem like really good tips, especially for hardcore characters. In hardcore you'll want to avoid destroying altars until you're ready though, so you don't accidentally spawn one of the mechanical bosses.
I got so lucky at the start of hard mode and I got a ruthless amarok while I was destroying the crimson altars

My snow biome was in the same part as the underground hallowed so i got soul of light and the amarok at the same time
same as me too,now i got 13 amaroks, 3 of them i sell it to the merchant
I made my own pirate trap by trapping the ship and building the trap around it, and having a layer of lava where the pirates would jump out. The ship stays there after the invasion ends so you can go afk for as long as you want and just collect everything.
My favorite thing when I first entered hard mode was mining and skipping to find adamantite ore, and after that farming ice cores in the ice biome when it rained and make frost armor. Because I like the ranged class, thanks for the tips
My favorite thing that I did was get into the Lizard temple before hardmode, stealing a bunch of spike traps, get the mechanic (for wiring), create a room in the sky with spike traps outside of it (with a one sec timer), camp there and kill the destroyer without taking damage, farm him, get full hallowed armor, create the Excalibur, wait until the solar eclipse, farm broken swords (Im on old gen console so I can get them from Frankenstein’s and swamp things), create the true Excalibur and true nights edge, and create the terra blade with only killing one mech boss.
@@PapaPizzaJohan It's so easy to do destroyers, by using sky room and daedalus stormbow, you can defeat destroyers. Now I'm having a hard time fighting the twins because they both have two-way attacks and I'm playing on the mobile version which limits the screen instead of on the pc. How about enter the lizard tample no key?

Yeah, I’m struggling with the twins as well. I finally made the terra blade and it does about 141 melee damage with all my buffs. I was able to kill 5 skeletons in one night, it’s OP. Sadly it’s the best sword in the old gen console because it doesn’t have the zenith. The twins are hard, but I probably could’ve done it if I built an arena. I have a jungle key mold, which requires the temple key to craft a jungle key. Since I already broke into the temple, I can use the key to get the piranha gun.

the first thing i always do is smashing that satisfying demon altars and open loot crates to enjoy the tons of hardmode ore😍
Make an afk lava trap, make sure it’s wide enough, and if you’re a mage, or summoner, do it one block above an spider biome, that way you’ll get a poison staff or spider armor
Mincart track, seed farm for potions-use staff of regenration, set above ground glowing mushroom biome.
Use actuators to collect more quickly.
Underground mushroom for trouffle worms.
Unlimited bait farm.
Boots yo-yo seeds net.
Go fishing, for crates. Massive head start.
Move witch doctor to jungle for wongs
Open all of my already obtained crates. Ignore mining any hardmode ore and fight a mech boss that next night.

I was playing terraria today and literally the first hard mode night was a blood moon, next day was another blood moon + twins, then the next night was another blood moon. After that I was so done
Oh and also while I was fighting WoF a goblin army arrived so it got upgraded right when I beat it

There's something I do that may or may not ruin game progression for some people.
Step 1: while still in pre-hard mode farm the old one's army until you get a enough medals for a balista cane(not rod, cane tier unlocks after you beat 1 mech boss)
That costs 20 medals I think, and +45 medals for a full set of squire armor.
2 - Make a bride out of stone in hell before the wall of flesh, as soon as hardmode comes part of the bridge will turn hallow and part crimson/corrupt.
3 - once in hardnode make a box in the sky with a puddle of honey, heart lantern, campfire and bast statue.
If you get some heart statues you should wire that with a timer as well.
On the sides of the box put doors and wall it inside, put torches in front of the door from the inside so enemies can't open it.
Put platforms on each side of the door enough so nornal enemies can spawn from both sides.
Halfwayin the way to your box make a layer of dungeon bricka and buy some dynamite.
4 - Farm souls of night and craft a couple mechanical worms.
5 - climb your sky box and plant some sentries on each side of the box, down on your feet have platforms so you can toss dynamite. The sentries will be still cane tier but damage is not key here, their purpose is to help push the probes away and kill the eventual weak enemies that will spawn lile demon eyes and zombies, have a treasure magnet or hand of creation equiped or heart reach potion.
Have some regeneration buff accessory like a charm of myths or band of regeneration.
6 - Summon the destroyer, early as possible in the night, have your potikn and food buffs active and a sword that can hit wide and fast, preferably night's edge but bladg of grass with large or massive reforge or blood butcher would do, the purpose is not damage but to push the probes away, it shouldn't be volcano because is too slow and you might miss the probes.
Throw down dynamite until destroyer is killed eventually pushing away the probes and healing with honey and potions.
As soon as destroyer is defeated do not craft any hallowed armor piece, use those medals you farmed in pre hardmode to get a full set of squire armor, squire armor is powerful enough to carry you up to golem on expert or up to moonlord on classic.
Use instead the hallow bars to craft excalibur or gungnir since they benefit from squire set more than other types of weapons.
Also, if you hammer the middle blocks where the lava is 1 time, an get a grapple an the toxikarp, an go into the middle where the chests are etc, grapple to the middle blocks, point the toxikarp up an just spam shoot it while the pirates fall in, it'll hit the pirates aswell as lava hits. I just found that out, not sure if another weapon works.
Making the process a ton faster.
My favorite thing to do is open all the crates that i saved up in pre-hardmode. I can instantly get titanium or adamantite without damaging my world.
But every time you break a crimson alter or corruption altar there's a 60% chance of a crimson block or corruption block from generated anywhere in your world
The best thing to do is pre-hardmode fish for a bunch of crates then when you get to hardmode open all the crates and you'll have loads of the new ores

1: Get daedalus stormbow.
2: Get slime statue.
3: Make immortality machine.
4: Kill twins/skeleton.
5: Make hallowed jousting lance.
6: Get inner tube.
7: Make unlimited damage machine.
8: One shot every single boss the game has to offer.
Here is other things you should do
- worldwide railroad, if you're in a big world, you might need some quick deplacement. Mechanical cart is the fastest way to travel if you're in expert mode. (Unless you manage to do a teleportation room) Rails are also cheap to craft. (One iron ingot + one wood to get 50 of thoses) try to connect it to a sky lake also, it's useful.
- goblin army to get Easy powerful loot
- place more NPC rooms
- artificial mushroom biome
- deadlaus stormbow+holy arrows, and just... anihilate the destroyer

You can easily get 1 platinum by selling 2 stacks of stained glass windows. Make a gem farm, craft a shovel, stack a lot of sand. Easy work than farming mobs.
How to you get stained glass windows ?.......
@@madalinemcann7880 Mine for gems and sand. Make glass using sand with glass kiln. Craft gems and glass together in workbench.
_Note: You need a lot of sand, like LOTS. 3,000 or more, which is why I recommend getting a shovel._
_To make a shovel:_ Make a graveyard. Place an anvil in graveyard. You will need 12 iron/lead bars and 3 woods. The shovel only works on soft blocks (dirt, mud, sand, ash, silt, snow) by the way.
One thing i like to after hard mode is to spread the hallowed near my base before i break any demon/crimson altars. That way incase the corruption/crimson does go near my base it wont be affected much since the hallowed is on my base.
