I know a guy who's BMW is well taken care of but he doesn't like mowing his lawn or matter of fact doesnt like taking care or his yard at all. His sink, stove, and fridge looked like he never ever cleaned them. My mom got those merry maids to come over for his bday but it looked like nothing was done
My wife's car is full of empty water bottles, and some breakfast bar wrappers. Maybe some crumbs here and there, read: nothing like this Tesla. But our house is pretty darn clean. I think she likes having her car "Relaxed" since the house is vacuumed and mopped about twice a week, and I clean the kitchen and such about twice a day. My office is off the kitchen, so I can't stand seeing a dirty plate or something when I take a break from work. Lol
It looks too SET UP. you can be messy, but not that messy clean(car actually looks clean, someone just throws stuff and dust and dirt around a clean car look) but i still watched it. Hahaha
I used to detail cars for enterprise for about 2 years. You will be surprised at some of the stuff I've seen and found in cars. One car I found a bag of freaking teeth. Another one of my coworkers found lbs of weed. Craziest thing I've ever found was in a van I was clearly. Cleaned the entire van but I kept smelling a fish like odor. Lifted up the bottom cargo door underneath the seats and found a bunch of live crabs. Their lil hands grabbing at anything trying to get out.
My top 3 are detail geek, stauffer garage and MAD detailing. All three of you have a unique way of detailing vehicles and it’s nice to see how there are different methods on cleaning. I use what I learn to detail mine

My work truck doesn't get this dirty. I eat at least 6 meals a week in my truck. The condition of the Telsa is more of a reflection on the owner rather than the kids. Kids don't know better but the adult should. Money truly doesn't buy class.

Had a guy come for a full detail a few months ago 2018 Jag F-pace sport edition beautiful car, honestly looked like they just dumped sand into the car with buckets I’m talking on the dash in the centre console, anyway he was shocked when I told him that it was going to take more than 3 hours and I would have to charge more for it. I honestly believe he saw my prices and thought “thats not too bad”, and took the family out for the weekend to the beach with no concern of trashing the car just for me to spend 6 hours on it for $100.
It’s sadly because TDG has a god complex about detailing. He gets super cocky about detailing and how “he started” detailing on RUclips in general. Even if you did, gotta stay humble
Detail geek is probably the one I've seen most frequently as that channel was the first detailing one I subscribed to and the only other one is yours! Also to note (you may know this by now, but) you are in fact able to disconnect the main power supply. if you remove the paneling between the "frunk" and the windshield, you can access the negative terminal on the driver's side and a secondary point on the passenger side... I know this because I did my disconnects while installing the new Yoke on my Model Y. The only other thing to mention is that Tesla has a "car wash/cleaning mode" so you mitigate any mistaken pressing followed by vehicle action. Love the channel, simple, straightforward detailing that's always a pleasure to watch

You can start with only a few hundred dollars in supplies. Buckets, brushes, mitts, towels and a vacuum. Doing basic washes and waxes and interior cleaning. Then expand your knowledge, equipment and services from there.

How do the owners (with any detailing) feel about you when you comment on how filthy their car is? Do they say anything about it after you post the video or do they also understand how terrific their is? I don't have any favorites, but I first started watching your channel, then MADD Detailing, then Detail Geek's channel.
I'm usually not the language police, but this grinds every one of my gears. "I was more weary to do it." "Weary" means a kind of deep, long term tired, which I doubt you were. You were wary, which means you felt apprehensive. They are two separate words which don't mean remotely the same thing.
Some of that stuff looks like it’s just spread everywhere for the video. Like the white stuff on the seats looks new. Almost questioning the legitimacy of this channel now…
