I used to work at Circuit City; I was an installer in the Roadshop. One day we got a woman who came in wanting a new radio for her Integra. We picked out the radio together, she pulled her car around back, it was business as usual. I finished up the paperwork and took her keys, then went out back to drive her car into the shop. I opened the door and everywhere but the drivers seat was completely full of trash. I filled up 3 bigass trash cans with McDonald's bags and soda cups. I run a small interior detailing business in MN. Nastiest thing I’ve ever found was someone using their center console as the home for used tissues. This thing was PACKED with brown, crusty tissues that had turned into a solid block from all the dried snot. Of course the snot had glued it in, along with long, dyed-black hair to the console. I had to chip it out with tiny dried snot-flakes flying. As I was removing the solid cake of tissues, the weight of it being freed as I was moving it into a garbage bag made it fall apart, revealing a gooey center that hadn’t dried. I had to jump out and quickly take my respirator off, because vomiting was no longer optional.
The nastiest thing I have ever seen in a car was a full sandwich sitting in the back of a friend's car during the middle of the summer. One of my kids friends left it under the car seat and after a day or two, it smelled RANCID 🤮
I recently got an old family car back after it had been sitting for years. It's a 94 Grand Cherokee that had been sitting under a tree for a long time, there were several wasp nests all around the outside. The interior carpet was destroyed from water damage and leaked coolant in the back. The entire passenger floor was covered in hundreds of moltings from some kind of bug each about an inch long. The whole carpet had to be replaced. If it wasn't for the standing water in it rusting half of the bolts getting the carpet out wouldn't have been that bad.
Ive recently gotten a job at a car detailing place. Ive not jad cars as bad as yours that for sure. But we once had to do a minivan that the boss said yes to without checking the interior. First time ive had to wear gloves and a mask for a detail. There was a mug of cordial, soup ladle and a bowel in the front. Bits of food and stuff everywhere. Cup holder was just straight white fur mould. There was a dirty diaper under a seat. Gum in the carprt floor. And the whole car reeked. Thankfully some hard work and persistence made it look good at the end

I’ve once found a old diaper full of poop underneath the passenger seat of a minivan I detailed. I was in shock. They actually sold it right after I did it because of how good it looked. I do there new one, twice a year!!!
Still, it's obvious no one was riding in the back seat so they're likely all the driver's. They can't throw the car trash away. They don't seem like they're the type to walk empty cans back to their car 😳
Before I got into detailing, my car was in storage for during my deployment. When I came back, after I finished paying off the car, there was rodent feces and a strong smell of urine. Took it to a detailing shop and a faint smell of urine still remained.
Though you probably already picked a winner. I still want to leave a comment. This happened to be my own car. This happens when my first born was a baby. My now ex-wife and I would get in the car and we started smelling something that resembled a dirty diaper. So no big deal, we'll just change our daughter's diaper. As time went on we noticed, the smell was getting worse. As the days started getting hotter, we thought maybe a dirty diaper rolled under the seat. So I looked but didn't see anything really. I just noticed a white sock under the rear part of the front passenger seat, it being dark cause of tinted windows, I was like that fell out after doing laundry. I never took it out. Finally on an over 100⁰ day, it got to bad, we had to roll the windows down. This was just a couple of days after seeing the sock. After arriving at my in-laws house I decided to look again, but really look. Still nothing, well I thought. I pulled the sock our I forgot to remove and when pulling it out, it had some weight to it. When I got it all the way out, a dead rat was stuck to it. 🤦♂️ at that time I worked in an area full of warehouses, I believe it may have got in my car through a window and couldn't get out, Once I rolled all the windows up in the heat, it must have died. Just thought I'd share that 🤷♂️. Lastly, thanks for the videos. I'm currently thinking of getting into the business of detailing. A lot of my experience (almost 20yrs) of detailing schools goes almost right along with this as far as techniques used and tricks of the trade. Happy Detailing my friend. 👊🏼
The body shop I used to work at has a contract with Enterprise to fix their rentals. We started doing detailing. A Sentra got towed in with some body damage and a lot of stuff inside. When you opened the door, the smell immediately made you want to vomit. It had dog food inside a dog bowl, that had gotten wet and sat inside the car for over a week in the heat. On top of that it had rotten chicken, and other rotten food inside. Wrote the estimate to replace the entire interior just to not deal with it. Went off to auction lol
The nastiest thing I've ever cleaned from a car was when I was in high school. I was working for a body shop, I had to clean this lady's Honda Accord and she would take her used maxi pads off roll them up and throw them in the back seat. Needless to say the car was never cleaned.
Because of the way you extract it looks like you have taken a carpet cleaning and restoration class, also what all purpose cleaner do you use. Have you ever tried totally awesome?
I’m a beginner and I bought around $50-$60 worth of cleaning supplies to start washing cars, I’m not familiar with pricing. Around how much should I be charging per car if I’m just vacuuming and washing the car?
The nastiest thing I remember finding in a vehicle was my friend's grandmother's fake teeth sill wet it was shoved between the seat and I reached in looking for my DS Stylus
Might be a still question, but do you travel to do cars around the US? I live in TN and would love to see you detail my 2005 Mercedes Benz CLK320. It has never had this kind of detail before!
Genuinely curious as to how you don’t develop OCD from doing this all the time? I’ve just started detailing my own car just for maintenance but now every time I see dirt and dust I immediately feel the need to clean it lol. Do you develop a perfectionist mindset that affects other areas of your day to day life?
My first car was a 1980 Datsun 310GX. Got it home and started detailing it. There was cat feces and urine in the trunk. It had been stored in a garage for a few years and a back window was broken out. I guess they had a cat and it thought, might as well…Thankfully it was only in the trunk. Used a lot of bleach in the spare wheel well and used my moms carpet steamer on the carpet cover. Left the windows open to air it out.
Was working late at the recycling yard in my town when a flatbed pulls up at like 7:16 and had I think it was like a Vista or colt I dunno something seriously 80s looking with the windows covered by red bags and they had little labels on the windows saying Biohazard supposedly the driver told my supervisor that it was a homicide car and that all he would say besides that he had taken it from a police lot and drove it over for up here for us to crush it which was kinda sad cause it was a really nice 80s like van or wagon
I work in a school cafeteria and i was getting some fresh oranges from another school, and one go left in the truck. WOW 2 weeks later it did a number on my car.
Have you ever missed a door or the ceiling or something like that? And have you ever done carseats? I've seen you remove them but never seen you clean one.
As I have said in the past I would like to see their residence. Worst mess, in 1970 I clean the interior of my 65 Mustang whose previous owner was a heavy smoker. It was surprising how well the coating of the tar and nicotine preserved the chrome trim in the dash.
My dad bought a 2001 golf gti that smelled like cigarette smoke so when taking out seats to fully clean and smell bomb the car there was a rotten mouses skeleton with hair it’s was so gross
I had a protein shake in a shaker bottle roll under one of my seats and I had forgotten about it… one day heard a loud pop… let’s just say it had been there for at least a month in the summer & it exploded under my passenger seat. Took a good while to get the smell out!!
I was helping Online Grocery Pickup at a store and I opened up a door and it was a hoarder van. They actually wanted me to brush their dirty underwear to the side to sit their groceries down around it.
Oh man, my car broke down in my jobs parking lot and I had to get it towed to be repaired completely forgetting about the half eaten sandwich on the passenger seat. Mechanic had it for three days and of course the sandwich remained. When I went to clean the car upon it's return I grabbed the sandwich to toss it out and to my surprise the mushy bread was pulsating on my hand. Well, what was left of the bread. It was mostly maggots at that point.... 🤮

I want to know if the owner purposefully do these things, I just can't wrap my mind around having my car like this
Though you probably already picked a winner. 👊🏼
I might know someone who opened a can of tuna and sat it under the driver's seat of a friend's patrol car once.
I bet that had to smell rancid and awful
The body shop I used to work at has a contract with Enterprise to fix their rentals. We started doing detailing. A Sentra got towed in with some body damage and a lot of stuff inside. When you opened the door, the smell immediately made you want to vomit. It had dog food inside a dog bowl, that had gotten wet and sat inside the car for over a week in the heat. On top of that it had rotten chicken, and other rotten food inside. Wrote the estimate to replace the entire interior just to not deal with it. Went off to auction lol
One time cleaning out an old beat up car my friend bought, we found a half decayed squirrel. Thats definitely the worst thing ive seen so far.
Wtf
My dad has on 07 Yaris and it looks brand new for the 14 years we’ve had it. It also runs brand new
Because it's a Toyota.
I was cleaning my husband car once I found a dry up piece of salmon on a fishing hook. 😫😷 that was gross.
No maggots were harmed in this detailing process!!!
The nastiest thing I've ever cleaned from a car was when I was in high school. I was working for a body shop, I had to clean this lady's Honda Accord and she would take her used maxi pads off roll them up and throw them in the back seat. Needless to say the car was never cleaned.
Out of all the things here, that is the worst 😱
This. I've found used tampons before in a customer's car
@@mcgeem1989 That's gross
Now I don't know much about Yaris' but is that really where they keep the jack?
I look forward to your videos on Sunday, the nastiest thing you could find I don't know probably either a dead animal or human feces
Thanks for the support!
Because of the way you extract it looks like you have taken a carpet cleaning and restoration class, also what all purpose cleaner do you use. Have you ever tried totally awesome?
They could've atleast thrown out the garbage Amazing Job tfs.
The nastiest i can say is a dead animal I pray I never encounter it but yeah
😔
Pray it won't happen, and then 🙏 again and just when you think you can't pray anymore,🙏 again!!
In my family in the go to guy for interior detailing. Light cleanings to extractions done them.
Might be a still question, but do you travel to do cars around the US? I live in TN and would love to see you detail my 2005 Mercedes Benz CLK320. It has never had this kind of detail before!
Do you have any vids, or information on cleaning seatbelt (straps)?
3:08 He said “I do do” and I giggled like a schoolgirl.
Same here. Lol!
Genuinely curious as to how you don’t develop OCD from doing this all the time? I’ve just started detailing my own car just for maintenance but now every time I see dirt and dust I immediately feel the need to clean it lol. Do you develop a perfectionist mindset that affects other areas of your day to day life?
Something I encountered as a janitor that would probably be nastier in a car: stash of used tampons.
Good work!
How long do you let the seats dry before putting them back in to make sure that the foam underneath is completely dry?
I had a protein shake in a shaker bottle roll under one of my seats and I had forgotten about it… one day heard a loud pop… let’s just say it had been there for at least a month in the summer & it exploded under my passenger seat. Took a good while to get the smell out!!
I feel If I disassembled my car like that it wouldn't be a car again😂
Dobra robota, auto jak nowe Pozdr
