@@gmc8810 great ideas - thank you so much! One of my bucket list items is to backpack across Catalina Island. I need to bite the bullet and buy the backpacking equipment though.... I am waiting for a decent commission check lol
@@PeterOwenFilms I totally understand that. I worked construction in the 1986 after high school and we would stay on the Island a week at a time and drive up to Carpinteria ( home ) on Friday's. We put fire sprinklers in most the restaurants there . Working next to the ocean was very cool. I loved that job . It was a hard work but great pay for a 20 year old kid , I did that for 3 years and moved to Utah . Installing black pipe prefabricated for the sprinklers overhead . Great memories there ! I've heard it is alot different. But not sure from source it came from. I hope you can go and tell me about it !
@@gmc8810 That's awesome! Sounds like that job gave you a great chance to experience the island! Yes if I make out to Catalina I will definitely document the trip in the form of a video :)
I like how you don't say the name of the golf course...Ha! I am a native and you showed me stuff I never explored. You forgot the Wayfayors Chapel AKA the glass Church. Another famous landmark. Next time!
Hahah yes I purposely left out the name and felt guilty showing the golf course at all! I have heard about the church and will definitely get there next time. Thanks for the comment! ❤️
