The only boring thing is the road you will choose. Everything else will make you smile on this bike. Slovenia, Italy, Austria are the right places for this bike. Everything south of Munich will be fine - believe me... congrats and enjoy some holidays more south with it!!!

Thanks, nice review. My old dog AT dct 1000 year 2017 have served me well and still does. I think my next bike will be another AT dct, which one is not fully decided yet. Adventure Sport is very tempting.
A BMW S1000XR makes 160hp and 114 Nm of torque, so the AT making 112 Nm with "just" 105hp tells you how the bike can feel much more powerful than it actually is (in line 4 vs parallel twin differences beside).
I owned a CRF1100 ATAS DCT and my experience was that the speedometer was exaggerating a lot, more than other brands, 150km/u on the speedo was 135km/u in real on the navigation, about 10% speed less and that why it's looks fast but it isn't actually that fast. Seat was the worst of the 30 bikes I owned but the suspension was the best of the bikes I owned. I now have a '24 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro and it's a hoot on the speedbumps like the Africa Twin.
I doubted the DCT at first. After owning The 21’ CRF1100L DCT i can say that this bike is something else. Apart from the Drive mode which is an annoying transmission, im amazed on how the sport mode 1,2,3 cover that disadvantage. It fast, reliable, stable, comfort and most importantly, Its Honda.
I really liked this video. Thinking an ATAS DCT will be great for distance, complementing my amazing KTM 1290 SAS for the big Dallas city. Glad there is a quick shifter add-on for DCT. I love me a quick shifter.

Hi smokey, thanks for another beautiful video, couple of questions: -how heavy/top heavy does it feel? -with the DCT and electronic suspension what is the final weight? -does it still feel nimbo and agile?
Not top heavy at all in my opinion. Don't really know the final weight , must be on the Honda online configurator. It feels less agile as the 19inch front wheel. But I like that it's not so quick in reacting when you turn the handlebar 😁
Just waiting on the 25s to come in so i can pick one up. Too late in the seaon here to get a 24 at this point (have a friend that will get me the same deal on a 25 than i can get as an end of year deal on the 24s)
Apperently I am not the typical GS rider. 1300 that is. 34 years, I like to push the bike where it makes sense. Today I went over 4 mountain passes in the alps, from Italy to Germany and at one point both tyres started sliding a bit. A little faster right turn, but a decent camber to the left. And if you really open the throttle and let her rev up, she pulls hard. At the same time, when there is no twisty road, the bike is perfect to relax and prepare for the next twisty section. And there is a good chance that at one point I will get the Jekyll and Hyde exhaust. That thing sounds nasty. I actually think the new GS design and the way it rides is catching younger guys. As an excample, today I have seen two younger guys in full race leather on 1300s. But I might be wrong with my assumption.
Tried many time contacting Yamaha , we called , I send e-mails , messages , used dealers....just the same as with Triumph but they are just ignoring me for some reason.....lol

That would be horrible. I have a 24 DCT that I 99% ride. I seldom ride my KLR. Would be HORRIBLE if I was use to using my left hand for rear brake in a panic stop and flip over the bars because only the front was being applied.
