I think "So let me take your hand, like one of those Mad men" is my favorite part of this cover, probably because of your soft voice, and the whole cover is beautiful.
While the original feels more cold & quiet, fitting the Roland's motivations "to end her solely with the mindset of the Cityfolk", this feels more emotional & sorrowful in comparison, fitting the broken sorrowful man hidden deep within all the pretense. The original was phenomenal already, and this rivals it. Impressive.
Really makes me think of those "Alternate Black Silence" receptions, such as The Sister in Quietude or The White Noise. (Both are good fights in and of themselves.) Nice work.
