Thank you. I didn't have the focus to listen to this song during the fight, but DAMN does that hit my feels, knowing when it plays.
I gotta refight some of those bosses/realizations, now that I'm at the endgame. Haven't beaten that last horrid post credits fight though. It's rather annoying.

After a retry at the very first phase because I failed to roll a key abno page for my setup, I solo floor'd the entirety of Roland's phases with just History.
A Happy Memories-Fervid Emotions Yujin
A defensive focused Purple Tear
A Myongest Philip
A burn focused Xiao
And a damage sponge Argalia
All of them survived the ordeal, and all of them contributed massively. The Yujin ended up with max HP by the end lol, but it was no less a nail bitingly difficult fight. Entering that final phase and hearing Gone Angels play in person... It was an indescribable feeling. This game is amazing.

@@DamienRobinson-u7u Well it's good, 8/10 in my opinion. The story, the characters and the soundtracks are peak. But the gameplay and the difficulty might be a bit challenging for new players. I recommend trying it out, and watching the summary of lobotomy corp - its prequel to know more about the story.

Got caught off guard by this fight the first time and had to fight it with teams that were wildly unprepared due to the restrictive nature of the fights leading up to it. This phase was brutal that time. Second time around he got destroyed by Red Mist Gebura and Olivier-Tiphereth Exodia, though. Gebura has some trouble pushing through his third phase but that's why Tiphereth is there to clean up the mess from there on out.
In any case, I rather like this song. I knew there was a song called Gone Angels going into this but I was not expecting this sort of calm creepy after dealing the rest of his phases. Props to Mili and the Ruina team.
Man I remember fondly how I annihilated Roland's first and second phases with the Floor of Philosophy (mass attacks worked fucking wonders in Phase 2, god I love it) only to immediately panic upon Phase 3. Philosophy dealt a good bit of a damage before dying and I sent in Literature afterward and SOMEHOW they made it through Phase 3. They got wiped afterward though and I sent in Gebura, my resident panic button for when things are going south, and the fucking euphoria I felt when after I had barely managed to get off Mountain of Corpses after like 2 assistants died and was panicking because Roland was going to use Furioso only for Claws of Savagery to kick in and then Gebura's EGO kicked in too. God I was so fucking thrilled, and I am still so grateful to Gebura for getting me through the last phases of Roland's fight FIRST TRY. The Red Mist unga bunga is fucking glorious. And this is why she is my panic button whenever I start getting my shit rocked, because she has yet to ever fail me after she gets off her EGO and Mountain of Corpses.

It was reverse for me funnily enough, I didnt know it was a reception so I thought I had to do it first try so when the floor of language gave out nearing the end of phase 3 (which was arguably the hardest phase due to lacking decent key pages) I got so mad and was pleasantly surprised I could send 2 more floors. I sent in the floor of philosophy where I ended up putting most abno pages (it was a combo of the abno pages that boost dice power when damaged,0 cost playable which restores light for hp, taking damage when low rolling for strength + endurance and taunting enemies for additional dice power and heal on clash win) on a double hauler Xiao who ended up 1v1ing most of Rolands final phase as Xiao easily ran through him with minimum 10 dice power. All the mass attack pages were used just to get the weapons out of the way, It was incredible. The final turn had Xiao near the end of her hp as the health drain caught up to her but the previous turn gave her 12 extra strength which completely beat out any last attempts of Roland fighting back. I dont think I could recreate the feeling of victory I had in this fight. What an awesome fight.

I almost failed this fight on my first go, but I went last ditch effort to Hokma's floor, lasted long enough for The 13th Toll to actually take effect, and used Overcharge, ended up doing over 50% of his max health with that on his final phase, ending the fight right after.
I love it when he said “its image of the byproducting time” and image of the byproducted all over the place

Quick question: When I did this fight about a few minutes or so after it launched (it was when 3rd phase Black Silence only used Waltz in Black due to a now-fixed issue I think), I think this song kept starting over at the start of every new scene. Does that still happen or not?
