Not to mention that these DLC’s typically add in some of the most badass weapons, armor & spells in the game as well. Fromsoft dlc quality has always been fantastic. I didn't think they could pull off an open-world souls game, and look what we ended up getting. I have faith that they will put out something special.
Dark Souls 2’s DLC is extremely underrated even when compared to DS1 and DS3. Other than that, seeing from the quality of From Softs DLC’s Im sure Elden Ring’s DLC is gonna be insane
The 3 kings trilogy in Dark Souls 2 was incredible. Every dlc area was vastly different from both the base game and each other. It had some of the hardest and best bosses in DS2. And the new weapons, armor, and rings were literally game changing. They were a great addition to DS2.

Elden ring dlc also feels like it might be taking longer due to the fact that Elden ring is open world. The other games added typically one more big linear path but with Elden ring, while they could just make the dlc linear, I feel like it’s likely that they are developing a second overworld. Obviously not nearly as big as the original but still a lot
I enjoy the way they put in the DLCs because for the most part, they feel like content that was cut short from the base game. While a lot of people don't like that, I enjoy it a lot. It's usually an area that wasn't quite done yet or the ideas weren't solidified yet. It makes the DLCs fit fairly seamlessly into the base game. It's usually just a side area you access through some method with some cool bosses that feel like they merge with the base game very well.
I just think the reason we haven’t gotten anything until now is because Elden Ring is a massive game, and the fans and FromSoft knows that anything that isn’t on the level of The Ringed City would be underwhelming. They can’t release something half baked or tiny, or it will pale in comparison to the original game. I firmly believe that Shadow Of The Erdtree will not be small, or underwhelming. We know FromSoft, they won’t mess this up.
I Hope with the dlc I can relive the feeling of playing elden ring for the first time. Not knowing what to come, which boss to encounter next, which weapon to pick up and just stepping in this huge open world. Getting rid of godrick, going through his Throne room, ready for the next advantage and then seen Liurena for the first time was just magic.
So we have Lady Maria in Bloodborne and Sister Friede in Dark Souls 3, and that's a DLC level of polished and threat. And Malenia is already in base Elden Ring, so imagining the bosses in the DLC is going to be intense. Edit: Not to mention how there's a lot of Dragons in Elden Ring, there's a chance that they might add another dragon boss fight, perhaps, IDK, related to Gransax... 👀
Makes me wonder if Haligtree and Mohdwyn Palace were originally meant to be DLC areas. After all, they aren't exactly tied to game's main plot and require quest chains to unlock, similar to other Soulsborne DLCs. And yeah, Malenia or even Mohd surely can be called polished and threats.
@@elia0162 You're not wrong, although it's not just that one gimmick that made her frustrating to deal with. The fact that she can lifesteal, she's one of the bosses where it's almost useless to parry, and also that crazy butterfly dance on second form with her attacking us with the butterfly clones, yup, she's annoying alright. It's like she's the combination of Maria with her blood/rot attack, a more aggressive version of Friede, oh, and she fights like she was pulled from Sekiro, with her prosthetic arm and that Mikiri kick. Really makes you think what sort of abominations are we going to face in this expansion...
@@elia0162 Well, we don't need to think about it too much. All bosses in previous DLC have not only been fan favorites, but also justifiable hard. I'm sure they know what they're doing, especially if it's going to be even grandeur. Because in every DLC, it has always been an upgrade and an improvement to the base game. Even for a game like Dark Souls 2. So, rest assured, Tarnished. For thee, it's merely the beginning of something great.
Well Done! Your format of explaining How many Bosses, time to complete, weapons, armor in these past DLC's made me think you would make some conclusionary predictions, but that is me. Perhaps Bosses, Godwynn, Miquella, Rhico and Melina (gloam eyed queen). 12 hours playthrough time. 7 new weapons. 2 new armors. 32 new items. See you in the Dream!
Thanks for taking the time to go through the other Soulsborne games and explaining their DLC. Elden Ring is my first Souls game so I'm excited for the DLC. I'll be trying out Bloodborne while I wait. I've subbed to your channel as well, hope to see more of your content in the future.
@@despair_ts1823 Thanks! I totally understand why, the story, atmosphere and music are amazing! It's also refreshing to see DLC released for a game that's more than costume swaps or a few new weapons.
Dude, this video was super comprehensive, and really showcases how different Fromsoft games are when it comes to quality of DLC. I look forward to seeing your future content! Well done
Darkeater Midir is the best dragon fight in all soulsborne imo and one of my favorite bosses. I expect Elden ring Dlc to include a massive new area to explore, with one or two BIG boss fights, and plenty minor ones. I hope they include things to do with Torrent, a way to equip him with armor or even new habilities for horse combat.
With Sekiro having a lot of open ended plot holes that hinted at dlc (yet we got none) and Elden Ring basically giving us some DLC level end game content (Melania is probably more cinematic than Slave Knight Gael) not to mention the ER art books releasing before any dlc was even announced, it’s safe to say that Elden Ring might not of had DLC in production until after main game launch, which I think dlc usually is partially complete by the time their base game releases. So I’m thinking they were waiting on early sales to predict if they should make more content for ER (obviously they were after the first two weeks) Fromsoft expansions are also usually developed alongside their next titles so we get hints at what their next game could be. Artorias of the Abyss was developed alongside Bloodborne, so we got Marveloys Chester Sekiro was developed alongside The Old Hunters, so we got Hunter Yamimura. Elden Ring was developed alongside The Ringed City, and the city itself reflects the overall feel of Lyendell and the Haligtree etc. So I’m curious what this new Shadows of the Erdtree will hint at.
Unless there has been some setbacks in the studio that we dont know of and they have actually spent the past year working on the expansion i think we are in for something big. I mean think about it, what sets Elden Ring apart from the past Soulsgames? - Its openworld design - A more established lore It would be wierd to me if they would turn away from that for what they are calling and Expansion. And the development time for something like that in their biggest most popular release ever i would assume takes more time than what we have seen before. My totally uneducated opinion is that we are getting a mirrored version of a part of the map in the past.
@@Ghorda9 yeah sure i’ll buy that. At the very least because of the introduction of Torrent there are bosses that are approached quite diffrently. I wouldnt say that bosses like Rykard, Radan or any of the Rememberance bosses are that complex compared to the previous games though.
@@maz0t they are however, branching move sets, much more positional with player movement/dodges, jumping over attacks and range/consumable use reading also you have to get more creative with openings with all of the above.
I expect this dlc (based on what most think it hints to.) To be a big buff or new thing for golden order/ death sorcery, int/faith to be more specific. So I'm planning a death mage playthrough for when the dlc comes out.
Hear me out. Elden Ring IS Sekiro DLC. The title was suppose to be Sekiro: Rivers of Blood. The whole game was us reclaiming the sword from a fallen Sekiro who took the title Okina and travelled to a foreign land.
I’ve always thought the land of reeds could easily be a nickname for sekiro’s lands (I haven’t played so idk the name) I heard some stuff about Malenia that hints she was originally a sekiro character you never see
New to these games here...How are the DLC's incorporated in the previous Soulslike games? Are those locations available at a certain point in the story/journey? Or at the end? Will we have to start a NG and get to a certain spot or what? I probably wont be able to use a NG++++ 200/300lvl character as he will be overpowered?
You can use an overpowered character if you want but basically there are usually just some actions or a key you need to access the dlc and then go to a location in the base game. It’s not locked off by level or having to beat the game or be in NG+ or anything.
Most of the DLC require you to interact with an object out in the world. Most of the objects are dozens of hour into the game. For example in Dark souls 3 you have to interact with Slave knight Gale, and he's at a church halfway through the game. In Dark souls 2 you had to find altars to enter each king's DLC and they were scattered through out the mid to late areas of the game. So you'll probably need to have most of the map unlocked to find the DLC. And for souls games you have to FIND the entrance to the DLC. There is no menu option to just jump right in. You have to find the NPC or object to enter them. Most of the DLCs are made for mid to high level characters somewhere between level 75.- 100, but they all scale the enemies if you're higher. So you can enter them at whatever level you want and the enemies will still hit like a truck. I would recommend having a character somewhere between 120 - 175. Basically if the concentrated snowfield and crumbling farum azula are still challenging for you, then the dlc will be too.
This video was nicely analyzed that it had me thinking. The one thing I would at least want from the Elden Ring dlc is an ending sequence. Their last FromSoft dlc being DS3 had a great story and memorable bosses, but resulted with an anti-climatic ending where you beat a powerful boss, talk to an NPC about it, and that's it. Not even a cutscene like Bloodborne's dlc.
You’ve got a good point - I hope they are able to tie in the store and finish it in a rewarding way. I’ll settle for great boss fights and awesome areas, but a story would round it out nicely!
Still kind of new to the series here. I started with Bloodborne last summer and platinumed it back in January. As of now I'm going through DS3 for its platinum and currently saving up for 1 and 2 to get after I plat 3. It'll be a while till I get ER but I'm pretty happy to finally be here for the release of a new DLC. These games are something else Plus, considering how hard Malenia was for base game, I think we can all agree that we'll see a boss even harder than her.
Nope you use the same character you’ve been using. DLC typically accounts for you being at or near end game level so they’re usually harder or higher levels than the end of the main game.
A thing of note is the fact that Fromsoft only recently became so mainstream and Elden Ring is open world with them calling this an "expansion" as opposed to just a "DLC". I would be convinced it's going to be set in the past but I feel like they're going to subvert that expectation somehow
Nah this is my only channel. I figured this would be something people want to see because I know I was curious and I would click. I do have more souls content coming tho!
For me. My favorites were the holy trifecta of soulsborne: Friede, Gael, and Midir. Demon prince was another fantastic fight too that I feel like you didn't give enough credit to, no its not as good as those 3, but it's still top 10 in the series imo.
Yeah I kinda made it quick with footage I had. When I played through those DLCs I wasn’t making videos yet so I didn’t record it, but when I finally get the time to go back I will!
I think them getting game of the year award really made them delay this dlc iron out every detail to slam dunk and go for that title again for 2023? One can dream
The reason that they didn’t have any dlc, is because they didn’t have any ready. They weren’t planning on dlc because they didn’t expect Elden Ring to explode like it did. It made Dark Souls 3 (the most successful Fromsoft game in its day) look like nothing more than a cult favorite.
Yeah I think you're right. They figured Elden Ring would be like Dark souls 3 or Demon souls remake. Popular, but not a MASSIVE hit. They were probably planning on shifting to armored core. But with elden ring being SOOO huge the probably feel like they have to do at least 1 dlc. It's probably only 3 or 4 months into development.
That's actually cap. We knew there was gonna be DLC because of what Fromsoft set up in Elden Ring. The fact that they intentionally left shit with Miquella and Godwyn very vague and unexplored tells everyone they always had plans for DLC. Plus there's Gideon saying we should destroy Miquella's cocoon and how Miquella's the one thing he doesn't seem to know a lot about.
I thing From Soft likes to leave the door open though with Sekiro and Demons Souls we never got that DLC. With the timing of the DLCs they did release all coming within a year of release it did cause a little uneasiness in the community.
Elden Ring is open World so that alone makes development longer. Old souls DLCs were linear and often small DS1/DS2. Bloodborne and DS3 increased in scope.
You made this video very well, especially with how you mentioned how long it has been; I was thinking May, to about maybe early July 2023 originally, but then after they announced Armored Core VI after Elden Ring getting Game Of The Year. It was very obvious that Miyazaki and his translator were being very tight lipped about it but wanted to inform us that there will be much more to come. Basically Armored Core oughta get a spotlight fasho especially with that epic intro outta no where even if you have never played one, this game is gonna be phenomenal I'm sure of it with the tech, and master engineers & coders. I'm sure George R.R is handling this with FromSoftware & Miyazaki the same way the game came to. Lot's of details, lore, world building, but the story is not over & I think it's just fair to say all the players even casuals are excited. For one reason or another like I've been playing these games since Dark Souls 1 & I think I would still have the same hype for this video game, that brings people millions of them together, to kill shit if this was my first rodeo. This is going to be the best, probably surpassing Bloodborne because I consider the DLC's to be part of the main game as well; But the fact that this game is unbelievably long, honestly had me thinking they were gonna end up making a sequel, but I feel like this DLC will be the size of a sequel. By the way fuck Lady Maria, Orphan is way harder but she can strike you down just so fast, no hesitation. only boss I never beat in A From game is Isshin,, But that game is different, still sucks to make it to the end of Sekiro and realize he dies a whole lot more than twice.
Isshin beat me down for multiple hours as well, but if you get good at catching his lightning his final form is actually on the easier side… it’s just getting there and not clenching up too hard! Thank you for the kind words and I’m in the same boat as you- I think this DLC/expansion is going to be epic!
@@PyyrusGaming Hell yeah dude, it's gonna go down, n I've actually been thinking about making a channel since I saw the expansion announcement. Give people a penny for their thoughts, if you don't mind, what software are you using? Been wanting to learn to make videos about my thoughts or whatever mostly on gaming n anime & of course music. I produce, engineer, & do vocals on Ableton so I'm pretty sure id get it down if I was pointed in the right direction as to what software I should use.
I started with Davinci Resolve. It’s free to download and there are a ton of great educational channels that teach you how to use it. It’s also a great way to dip your toes into the RUclips pool before committing a bunch of money. If you like it and enjoy making videos you can always upgrade and it isn’t a monthly license like Adobe - one time purchase and it’s yours!
They may not have planned on making any and when they sold really well they decided to that time go ahead with the DLC and that’s why it’s not here yet
8:55 never understood why orphan of kos is regarded as the hardest boss ever (or one of the hardest). i beat him on my third try, without being overleveled. maybe i was just lucky or something, but i thought that the fight was pretty straight forward...
Somehow I beat orphan on my first try. I’m guessing I was over leveled and lucky because too many people whose opinion I value think he’s one of the hardest.
Why is no one talking about it being an expansion it’s probably the size of three dlcs of dark souls 2 put into one and probabyl some upgrades to the actual game. And will likely be the only dlc .
For how big Elden ring got, from soft always promises to stay grounded and give the people who love them what they want. And no company knows what their fan base wants better than from soft. They’ve refused to fly too close to the sun no matter how big their games got. I also looked directly at previous dlcs and analyzed the name of them and what they were about them tried to conclude what amount was secrecy or clue like hints in the post they made

I’m sorry but how are you a souls fan and didn’t complete ds2 DLC yet almost 10 years later? The dlc in ds2 is among the greatest content in FSW history. It’s literally stepping into a game that is just different from the base game. The base game is controversial , say what you will, but it’s unanimous….. the dlc is just perfection in the purest way
Simple, I only got into the Souls series in the past couple years. Since this video I did complete DS2 and all of its DLC. I’m not sure if I’d call it perfection, but I did like most of it better than the main game. I’m planning on a DS2 video eventually, probably closer to Shadow of the Erdtree. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Grave tender wolf was definitely not a reskin of Sif. That is actually laughable. No sword. Standing under it doesn't work. It's a wolf...not a dog. Sif was a husky. It has ice powers. It has the mega charge. Completely different move set and animations. That is kinda like saying the giant rat in DS2 is reskin of Sif.
I love Darksouls series but I would give anything to be atleast somehow good at these games, the only souls game I have finished is Elden Ring but I also have Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, I am kinda bad at these games and I will give up on the bosses easily
Yeah you’re right. I beat them before I was making videos so I didn’t record any of the footage. At some point when I get done tune to replay then, I will.
Im happy for a dlc for elden ring. But my biggest expectation is lore of course and no copy and paste bosses. I cannot express enough and I’m sure community can say the same about the copy and paste problem and hoping it’s not continued in dlcs
Really is a travesty we never got sekiro dlc. Tomo dlc was set up for it. Would’ve been amazing. Also it’s quite telling they didn’t call it dlc they called in an expansion. I think that was intentional I think theirnteling is that it’s not normal dlc they make that’ll it’ll be a giant dlc. When I think expansion I think around 15-30 hrs worth of gameplay at the very least
My first game from FS was DS3 and I was so in love with the game that I played it for maybe 1k hrs and it made me play through DS1 remaster like 10x , bloodborn like 10x , and obviously everything (elden and sekiro) else EXCEPT DS2 . Now I bought DS2 2x and idk why but something about how the game felt I couldn’t do it , I think it was the rolling Bcs it felt sooo bad compared to the rest . Does anyone know if this was changed or am I missing somthing . Bcs if someone can convince ill prob go back
Dark souls 2 is the weird game of the family. It's much slower than DS3 or bloodborne. (but so is DS1), and all the moves and attacks are just a bit heavier. My suggestion would be to try powerstancing. Before elden ring it was the only Dark Souls game that you could do that in. Also try a faith build. There's some great heals, buffs, and ranged attacks in faith in DS2 plus on launch faith was really strong. Overall you just have to approach DS2 more like DS1. It's a good game, just not like the rest of the series.
@@mauricehopes9105 idk how else to explain it but this way. If u look at DS1 rolling with no cloths on and D3 with no armor on it honest so similar just snappy . I honestly didint care for the combat i like them all. But DS2 the rolling seemed to have an animation of slowly getting up after a simple roll with no armor on , make sense ? Because in dark souls one and three, you could be mid roll and hit attack and they would seamlessly roll snap up an attack but in D2 when you hit roll then that attack button you’re gonna roll then slowly get back up and then attack. It's usually just a side area you access through some method with some cool bosses that feel like they merge with the base game very well.
Another thing about the DS2 DLCs is that finishing them unlocks a new ending for the game so I'm kinda hoping for ER to do something similar
Literally a dlc hint been in the game from the start, it's a island we can't access near altus plateau, it's fully rendered
Malenia difficulty is artificial if malenia didn't have that godamn attack it would be easier than friede
@@scottjameson5358 I'm more scared that they are gonna pull off an Abomination instead of a godly boss fight like radagon and Godfrey
I like that idea. I just kinda laid it out there for the viewers, but predictions would’ve been fun!
Surprised you don't have more subs, good vid man

Glad to hear you’re trying out Bloodborne and thanks for subbing! The frame rate takes some getting used to, but the game is sooooo good!
Welcome to the souls comunity! As u can see dlc is a pretty big deal for us fans 😅🤣
@@despair_ts1823 Thanks! I totally understand why, the story, atmosphere and music are amazing! It's also refreshing to see DLC released for a game that's more than costume swaps or a few new weapons.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Enjoy Yharnam. You’re gonna love it
Dude, this video was super comprehensive, and really showcases how different Fromsoft games are when it comes to quality of DLC. I look forward to seeing your future content! Well done
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment!
More war donkey love! I didn’t realize how badly people want this!
I hope we get to fight Godwin in some shape or form
With Sekiro having a lot of open ended plot holes that hinted at dlc (yet we got none) and Elden Ring basically giving us some DLC level end game content (Melania is probably more cinematic than Slave Knight Gael) not to mention the ER art books releasing before any dlc was even announced, it’s safe to say that Elden Ring might not of had DLC in production until after main game launch, which I think dlc usually is partially complete by the time their base game releases. So I’m thinking they were waiting on early sales to predict if they should make more content for ER (obviously they were after the first two weeks)
Fromsoft expansions are also usually developed alongside their next titles so we get hints at what their next game could be.
Artorias of the Abyss was developed alongside Bloodborne, so we got Marveloys Chester
Sekiro was developed alongside The Old Hunters, so we got Hunter Yamimura.
- Its openworld design
- A more established lore
It would be wierd to me if they would turn away from that for what they are calling and Expansion. And the development time for something like that in their biggest most popular release ever i would assume takes more time than what we have seen before.
My totally uneducated opinion is that we are getting a mirrored version of a part of the map in the past.
you also forgot more complicated main bosses
@@Ghorda9 yeah sure i’ll buy that. At the very least because of the introduction of Torrent there are bosses that are approached quite diffrently. I wouldnt say that bosses like Rykard, Radan or any of the Rememberance bosses are that complex compared to the previous games though.
@@maz0t they are however, branching move sets, much more positional with player movement/dodges, jumping over attacks and range/consumable use reading also you have to get more creative with openings with all of the above.

Ashes of Ariendel also gave us my favorite Soulsborne armor.
Vilhelms set, Onyx Blade is bae too.
I didn’t really dive into the weapons and armor much because the video was getting long, but you’re definitely right!
I'm actually so excited for the DLC man. I don't remember the last time I was this hyped about something.
Maybe Elden Ring? Lol!
@@PyyrusGaming That goes without saying. Haha
You're gonna love frigid outskirts, easily my favorite fromsoft area.
I feel like I’m being set up…
Fume Knight and Sir Alone are absolutely amazing
I will meet them soon!
I expect this dlc (based on what most think it hints to.) To be a big buff or new thing for golden order/ death sorcery, int/faith to be more specific. So I'm planning a death mage playthrough for when the dlc comes out.
That could be cool. I’m honestly a melee guy myself, but it sounds sick!
@PyyrusGaming me too honestly but if elden ring can't break someone of their old habits with this series then I doubt any future sequel will either
Probably right!
Hear me out. Elden Ring IS Sekiro DLC. The title was suppose to be Sekiro: Rivers of Blood. The whole game was us reclaiming the sword from a fallen Sekiro who took the title Okina and travelled to a foreign land.
Maybe that explains why Rivers of Blood is so OP!
I’ve always thought the land of reeds could easily be a nickname for sekiro’s lands (I haven’t played so idk the name)
I heard some stuff about Malenia that hints she was originally a sekiro character you never see
@@zackdoom The land was called Ashina. In Japanese it means "Common Reed".
@@greyfoxzero oh fuck
@@mauricehopes9105 What are you talking about?
There is no level scaling system for enemies I am aware of in any souls game DLC.
If Malenia gave us a really hard time. How much more horror can we expect from its DLC? I can only imagine.
This is a great question! Nameless King to Medir and Gael. Malenia to ????????
Miquella and Godwyn are gonna bust our cheeks wide open and so bad, we're gonna be crying and crawling back to Malenia.
Miquella: “I heard you ended my sisters streak? now I end your life”
@@kneeofjustice9619 " I mean, technically Radahn ended her streak, but at this point why even split hairs? "
I think they may have called it a draw?
These games are something else
Plus, considering how hard Malenia was for base game, I think we can all agree that we'll see a boss even harder than her.
According to From Soft’s track record - it would seem that you’re right! …as scary as that may be!
Don't forget that DS2 DLCs bring a new ending (maybe only in scholar) but beating the DLCs is mandatory for the new ending in DS2
I haven’t gotten there yet, but I can’t wait!
Great video man
Thank you, Theodore! I appreciate the kind words!
I always thought the hirata state map was supposed to be a future DLC, but the game ended up too short so they just added up to the main game.
So how did it work in the dlc’s in terms of character? You could use an existing one or have to create a new one ?
Nope you use the same character you’ve been using. DLC typically accounts for you being at or near end game level so they’re usually harder or higher levels than the end of the main game.
A thing of note is the fact that Fromsoft only recently became so mainstream and Elden Ring is open world with them calling this an "expansion" as opposed to just a "DLC".
I would be convinced it's going to be set in the past but I feel like they're going to subvert that expectation somehow
Loved this so went to see any other souls content you had… is this like a second channel or are you blowing up off this video lol
Nah this is my only channel. I figured this would be something people want to see because I know I was curious and I would click. I do have more souls content coming tho!
@@PyyrusGaming ah cool best of luck mate looks like it's going to do well for you! Subscribed and looking forward to the new souls content 😀
Thank you very much! I’ll do my best not to disappoint!
I hope we get a Godwyn fight in the DLC. Godwyn in his prime together with Fortissax, Nameless King style.
My favorite bosses in the games all were from the DLC
Dark Souls 1 - Artorias
Dark Souls 2 - Sir Alonne
Dark Souls 3 - Gael
Bloodborne - Lady Maria
It’s kinda crazy, isn’t it!
Worth mentioning it a freakin "expansion" with how rare they are nowadays.
Mate. You're going to love Fume Knight.
For me. My favorites were the holy trifecta of soulsborne: Friede, Gael, and Midir. Demon prince was another fantastic fight too that I feel like you didn't give enough credit to, no its not as good as those 3, but it's still top 10 in the series imo.
Great video and pacing! Only thing I'd say is show more gameplay from the DLCs instead of the base game!
Yeah I kinda made it quick with footage I had. When I played through those DLCs I wasn’t making videos yet so I didn’t record it, but when I finally get the time to go back I will!
From Software is an impressively well-oiled machine!
I think that two bosses that we almost certainly will get is miquella/st Trina and Godwin the golden
We‘re in for a treat.
Well if they didn’t know, now they sure do!
I've read on a interview that the reason why the DLC is taking so long is because Armored Core 6 is their top priority right now.
That makes sense for sure.
It's definitely miquella. In the into cutscenes they show miquella and it's the exact same person we see in the dlc photo.
Elden Ring is open World so that alone makes development longer. Old souls DLCs were linear and often small DS1/DS2. Bloodborne and DS3 increased in scope.
I hope this DLC has DS1 style level design

Maybe I was just too disappointed with the quality of that boss be the rest. You’re right about Sif.
bloodborne dlc IS the main game. The main game is just the tutorial
Bloodborne is my favorite
I love Darksouls series but I would give anything to be atleast somehow good at these games, the only souls game I have finished is Elden Ring but I also have Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, I am kinda bad at these games and I will give up on the bosses easily
You should check out FightinCowboy’s channel. He has super helpful walkthroughs if you’re struggling!

Yeah you’re right. I beat them before I was making videos so I didn’t record any of the footage. At some point when I get done tune to replay then, I will.
Im happy for a dlc for elden ring. But my biggest expectation is lore of course and no copy and paste bosses. I cannot express enough and I’m sure community can say the same about the copy and paste problem and hoping it’s not continued in dlcs
the dlc will problably be something like ringed city
I’m ok with that!

DS3 DLC is great but since I was coming from BB DLC it didn't hold that up well for me. BB dlc is definitely the best.
Bloodborne DLC is pretty amazing, they really nailed it on the Old Hunters!
When I think expansion I think around 15-30 hrs worth of gameplay at the very least
don't forget that this was translated from japanese, semantics mean nothing.
I hope it’s huge! I think we all do!
Is expansion synonymous for dlc in Japanese?
@@PyyrusGaming it is but it's really up to the translator and if the "difference" matters at all.
Good to know, people are really jumping on the “expansion” translation.

Now I bought DS2 2x and idk why but something about how the game felt I couldn’t do it , I think it was the rolling Bcs it felt sooo bad compared to the rest . Does anyone know if this was changed or am I missing somthing . Bcs if someone can convince ill prob go back
You are correct, but leveling some ADP can help and try combat not locked on most of the time. I’m going to make a video soon!
Sorry I know I’m being extra lol
Everything in DS2 happens slowly. You just slowly get used to it…
