@@SnappBacc maybe its not honest, but i should have the right to maintain my own stuff without voiding anything. In US i've heard these Stickers arent legal but what about the remaining World? I dont See any other way around that in that Case. And If it gets damaged by my own clumsy Hands they gonna See it and decline anyway.

When selling old parts, I always describe what was overclocked and how, at certain temperatures, in what housing and with a certain power supply. I think this is a fair approach and I would also like others to approach selling their used parts in this way when I would like to buy them.

Sold my PC a few years ago when I wasn’t gaming much and I was getting a house.
My friend bought it, and he keeps a lot of profiles at default, all his files ungoranized, and he doesn’t know much about PCs.
But at least he is using it all the time and enjoying it.
I never overclocked my gpus
which doesn't mean that they were not sometimes running for a week straight rendering blender scenes 24h.
I love my gpus so much
by having both i can even set one to render and use second for games.

Also by buing exact same one i avoided driver issues, cut my render times by half

XMP doesn't even increase my ram speed on my pc, funnily enough, but it does break hibernation
first component ever OC'd was a gtx 750 ti in 2014. Damn i'm old. And that took me ages as I had tried overclocking an FX 8120 in 2011 but failed.
Bumping 4 ghz on a 3570k feels like yesterday, but it was 12y ago 💀

I overclocked my ddr4 from 3200 16-16-16-36 to 3200 13-15-15-19 and some important secondary/tertiary subtimings for 1% lows

My first pc was intel core2duo + nvidia 210 silent. Didn't sold it because I used it till it became dead. 8 years of service

We ALL understand that an extra 5% of CPU Performance, 5% more RAM Performance and 5% more GPU Performance equals 15% more Performance! Add in a few Decals for another 5% and you can get up to 20% more Performance!

Manufacturers already set an artificial barrier against using the excess headroom because it's the same silicon as higher end silicon but we just didn't pay for the use of the whole thing.
It's a fake product limit. Doing an OC just unlocks it's potential that we're kept away from. Capitalism 101 it's an illusion that what we bought isn't nearly capable as the higher tier product.
AMD Phenom 2 black edition was a perfect example of that cause the hidden cores were badly locked 😅
@@The-Cat oh I know that there is some BS there. For me though I always try to keep util to 70% or less the first few years with the card. Keep it to 50°C until a few generations later and the card starts struggling.
Electricity is getting quite expensive, so the only time I let my PC really cook is rendering video.

The old PC is only play older games like FIFA 07,FIFA10,Call of Duty Black Ops 2,Original Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3,GTA 4,PES 6,PES 2010,GTA SA,GTA 4,GTA Vice City,GTA 3 and older games
I’ve never overclocked my computer once, because I use my PC for Star Rail and and Crunchyroll, and there is no need to overcook on those 2 apps I have on it. Most of the time, it’s turned off collecting dust. So if the buyer buys my computer they will have the knowledge that I haven’t over clocked my PC ones. And it’s on a stock cooler, so I did my research, and it’s saying that it’s not recommended to overclock your computer if you have a stock cooler. So ya, the buyers getting the real deal. With no overclockig on it on the CPU or GPU.
If you are wondering what PC I got for Star Rail, it’s a 8 gen Lenovo Legion gaming tower with a core i9 13900 KF CPU and a RTX 4080.
Then there is the outdated 2017 rig i bought a year ago getting pushed HARD.

It’s not like overclocking going to degrade the component by a lot , especially I think if temperatures are normal
intel i9 13 and 14th gen now throwing errors after few months stock... yep, only way is to downclock them to make sure they won't degrade

Keeping in mind according to intel the normal temperature is about 90 max
@@MrFaleh1129 lately theres a lot going on about that, there are mass returns in south korea due tekken having "not enough vram" to compile shaders, which came out to be intel i9 problem, they are degrading even under normal operating temperatures, it seems

I have a i9 13900K
I don’t want to underclock it but I used to run it at high temps like 80-95 because I was OC by a XMP2 profile
Since then I dialed it back down and I think I’m around the 60-80 sometimes high 80 to low 90 , hwinfo was before having red temp briefly now I fixed that
@@MrFaleh1129 basically what I hear is that everyone just undervolts them and says it has same performance for lower power draw
from what i get it's not temp problem I think more like power circuit being burnt out for excessive ammounts of power going there, like those are 250W parts going up to 95-100*C and ryzen parts are going 70-120W to same temps, but it seems ryzen lacks those kinds of instabilities
from what I heard from Steve from HU, his intel PC crashes every some time, upgrading bios etc doesn't help, while ryzen one was rock solid... similiar with Buildzoid, Intel parts give him a lot of memory stability problems, while ryzen, maybe limited, but does what it's supposed to

Overclock is risky, i prefer long life of components and no danger of fire or electric shock.
