My answer would’ve been for the Israel existing question “it’s not your F***** problem if I think Israel has the right to exist or it doesn’t, we in the United States of America not Israel”
And no Israel doesn’t have the right to exist as an Apartheid state and occupation of the indigenous people.
It’s a state that was established on massacres and stealing lands

It is not just about feeling safe, it is also about feeling respected, understood and having the ability to precipitate in Jewish Life on campus without worrying about anti-Semitism! As a Jew, I had to deal with anti-Semitism consistently while on college campus long before Oct 7th!!
Ok. so you should know exactly what blacks, Asian and Muslins are feeling. But do you really know the different between a jew and a white person? I can't tell at all. Let's do some math. There are 26000 students at GWU. According to these speakers, the number of protesters is between 500 and 700, which means that number of students who protest are between 1.9 and 3.8 percent of total number of students. It is even less if you count outside disruptors. The same picture is true for the rest of universities. These students do not represent majority, they represent minority of the young people on their way to complete radicalization. In case of Columbia the percentage even smaller because Columbia has 35000 students. Just think that very little number of people directed by Hamas operatives destruct the lives of hundreds of thousands.
MIT throws their support by the $$$$ not the people.
They absolutely did not like having to answer that question this forthrightly. I wonder if they’ll survive the next day at their “diverse” institutions. I wonder too how often a Trump presidency is ever honestly spoken about in any classes, by any professors on their universities. These people are all “diverse” until you don’t think like them…

No more crazy than those siding with the IDF terrorists.

Interesting that the question was "does israel have the right to exist AS A JEWISH nation." However all the university presidents said that Israel has the right to exist but did not qualify or condition that. Therefore, Israel might exist but think about a scenario whereby ISrael is a nation that is now a Palestilnian state. That would be conceivable given their answers and therefore i question their real answer. Just saying as i have heard from different Palestinian groups that Israel could exist but not as a Jewish state . Interesting indeed.
Israel does have the right to exist as any state they want....as long as they also allow the palestinian to live in their own state as they want. Israel is an occupier, imagine your neighbor taking over your house and won't allow you to go anywhere, do anything without their permission. What would you do? I also remember white people telling black people that they cannot be free and that they can only be slaves to their white masters. INTERESTING INDEED.
I find it ironic that there are 22 Muslim nations on this planet, most of which incorporate Islamic law principles and not not very democratic, but some folks only want to jab their finger at the sole Jewish nation, one that is a parliamentary democracy.
Does it? It’s an ethnocratic state build from European guilt. Why didn’t we give them part of Germany? I don’t recall the Middle East starting a holocaust.
