BassCats are one of the best looking boats with no wrap on them. That particular color scheme would look sweet as is with just some Missile logos on it
John - as you set up the boat, can you pls do a video about how to set-up & calibrate the Ghost so there is no drift when you hit spot-lock? Mine still drifts and I’m not sure why. Thanks and rooting hard for you this year!
teasing about the PP trolling motor!!! LOL!! more likely to see a unicorn before that!!! my 2022 ranger arrived late in the season so I never splashed, it has been under a cover since and STILL smells like that new glass smell!! need to bottle that!!
Hey JC, you ever thought of going away from 8 ft blades, and trying 10 ft....or try the raptors, or talons? Was just wondering what your thoughts were on that. Thanks
How many installation hours do you estimate for each boat you set up? Great looking boat by the way. Still looking for that new fiberglass smell experience. 😂
Nice! Question. I saw the battery set up you mentioned. Is that all you use to power electronics and cranking? Just one 36V and 12V lithium, or is that just electronics with another set up for cranking?
Is your update on your trolling motor power poles new trolling motor that's been a secret but not a secret forever now????? I doubt it they would want to release that we're in a big venue like a bassmaster classic or something right? Idk.. I know a few things, just enough to sound like I know what I'm talking about but not enough to be sure about anything! 😂😂✌️💪🎣
If I ever order a Bass Cat, it will be a Pantera Classic with a Yamaha 200 SHO. And it will be flashed by nizpro. Btw I recently watched your Bass Cat commercial from 2013 and you look like you're in highschool compared to now.
As someone that likes to rig his own boat to make sure it's done right, I'm kind of surprised you trust the boat manufacturer to run your graph wiring? How do you know they didn't use automotive crimp connecters and substandard wire?
@@JohnCrews I did tour Bass Cat but it was 19 or 20 years ago. They definitely weren't using wire that big back then. Do you have them glass in your internal transducers too?
My dream boat! Love bass cat boats. You are a lucky man. If I win the mega millions I will be driving one. Good luck in 2023!
Can't wait to see the videos with your install. Props to you for knowing how to put all that stuff together and make it look flawless ✨️
I appreciate that!
That’s a great looking boat John…..looking forward to seeing it done. Best of luck with it and the upcoming season!!
Sweet ride! Definitely have a lot to do. Look forward to seeing it as you work thru it.

Awesome John big time congratulations . That bad boy will get ya on the fish for sure.
That first tournament will be here before you know it. I can't wait to watch you compete this year.

I will have to refresh myself but thanks for the note. I will do it. Thanks!

The red poles are the bomb John
👊🏼
Very nice brother ❤️ 👌 👍
Thanks ✌️
Sweet
R u gonna do a wiring video for this new boat. I got a lot of upgrade to do also..
Nice rig man! Super jealous. I’m not sure how to describe what my boat smells like, but it isn’t good!
John, thanks for the "first look".
Question, how do you do in "current" tournaments with only one battery?
Really interested in your batteries set up .and how they preformed last season. Are they new or did they come from last years set up
I never had a second's issue last year so I am running the same model batteries and Power Pole Charge.
I see that tracker in the back. Off season boat?
That is my step-son's boat.
Anybody know what the name of the cover he has on that prop is?
Hey JC, you ever thought of going away from 8 ft blades, and trying 10 ft....or try the raptors, or talons? Was just wondering what your thoughts were on that. Thanks
Poles are the best anchors. I just prefer 8’ ones
Does is have 2 different tires on it?
John were you possibly hinting at a Powerpole trolling motor? 🤫
Maybeeeeeeee
What do you think the number is with all that love
Power Pole TM coming soon?🙏🏻
Fingers crossed.
Will you be at Basscat OI this year?
Not sure yet
How many installation hours do you estimate for each boat you set up? Great looking boat by the way. Still looking for that new fiberglass smell experience. 😂
that powerpole trolling motor needs to drop
Nice! Question. I saw the battery set up you mentioned. Is that all you use to power electronics and cranking? Just one 36V and 12V lithium, or is that just electronics with another set up for cranking?
Power-pole trolling motor??
Possibleeeeeee
Love the new boat . Is there a reason you prefer lowrance ghost over ultrax?
It’s quieter, brushless motor, and solid bracket.
If I buy that pumps can I get it will the old normal locks because the new ones are stupid
I don’t think that’s an option but you should spend a day in the boat with the new ones first

Haha!! Was a decade ago. Yes, that Classic is a gem in the lineup. Love that boat.
you'd think your going to the moon with all those electronics. lol

Bass Cat uses 6 gauge power wire to console then 8 gauge to bow. They know how to rig a boat
Is that something they do in every new boat or is that an add-on option?
@@binkwood Every boat. As a rigger, you would be impressed if you took a tour of the factory.
@@JohnCrews I did tour Bass Cat but it was 19 or 20 years ago. They definitely weren't using wire that big back then. Do you have them glass in your internal transducers too?

Some of might not ever know the smell of new fiberglass. J/s jajajaja
STS is too big for me, had a 2016 Puma FTD, now a 2022 Cougar.
If you're looking to adopt someone, I'm available.
🤣
