Love this. Another great version. I relate to this soooo clearly. I have spent half my life struggling to keep from returning to the old life. Ok was married for many years to a wonderful woman. She was taken hostage emotionally by the addictions. Love Steve Earle fort worth blues. Also he is a big historian in regards to the Civil war.
I'm so jealous. I want to see Steve live but I was leaving for Florida when he came to Boston last week; he's at the Egg when I'm still coming back from Florida; and he's in Tampa the day I arrive which wasn't working either. Will need to go to NYC sometime to see him there. Love this song too.
