I genuinely believe Jenna Ortega existing is what allowed them to finally crack the code on a sequel.
Saw an interview where Keaton specifically said that he'd only come back to do this if the effects were practical, the practical effects were completely essential to his experience on the film and he said it would be a welcome break from acting across from a green screen.
The stop motion people that did the first movie also returned. I like to see how the stopmotion they used in the first movie is updated.
With Tim Burton directing - that's some high powered animation team-up.

Feels like the title choice was intentional
It's great because if this 2nd film doesn't make the money to warrant a 3rd movie the naming convention plays into not going forward with the 3rd one. "AlI ya gotta do is same my name 3 times!" I also hope we get a 3rd one!
Then after that, I’d like a series that’s much like the cartoon, but with Lydia’s daughter and Beetlejuice going on adventures in the ghost realm. 👻💀👹

The bike Jenna is riding is the original bike from the first film that they tracked down via the fan who bought it at an auction in 2004. Burton had 2 extra replicas made in case anything happened to the original bike.
Belafonte Day O song was creepy slowed in the original film for a few seconds right in the beginning of the movie like the trailer. So Danny Elfman was the originator of slow creepy to a orginal song
Here it was played Ata funeral. It makes sense it is slowed down.
I'm so looking forward to seeing this. With major points like the writing duo and the fact that Tim Burton did not want to use cgi for this but the same original style stop motion...god bless Tim Burton 👏 😃 👼

Days of Future Pasts is best example I can think of with a legacy sequel or breaking old actors back to roles goes well. I cannot think of anything else off the top of my head. The nice effing model was the best part when i was like 7 watching Beetlejuice originally.

I totally agree with the trailer doing the same old thing that all trailers do. It gives me the same energy as all the fan made ones that were put out already.
These guys nailed my feelings about the trailer. After I watched it last night, I was thinking the music needs that low tuba sound.
Definitely DON'T stop the slow versions of songs in trailers... it's so fun. Just cause some people are sick of it doesn't at all mean its not working. I love it... and it worked beautifully in this trailer.

I mean, y'all mention the most recent Ghostbusters sequel possibly not being the best (I haven't seen it myself yet, but I'm looking forward to it!), but I think Afterlife was a success! And I'm looking forward to this!
I saw Frozen Empire last night. It's not nearly as bad as the reviews make it out to be. It's not as good as Afterlife, but it's better than Ghostbusters 2. It's closer in tone to the first 2 than it is to Afterlife. I'm looking forward to watching it again this weekend.
This is why I don't trust critic's I rather watch it myself and let people know. Critic's be expecting way too much from certain movies. I enjoyed Afterlife and I'm sure I'll enjoy Frozen Empire. Just go see for yourself and don't listen to critic's

I am OVERJOYED that this exists!! I cannot wait for this movie. I remember seeing Beetlejuice for the first time as a kid and it was like nothing I had ever seen before. I can still feel the exhilaration I felt. I cannot wait to go back there again.

No, I’m curious I don’t know if they’ll approach it or not but because I’m a fan of Beetlejuice, I wonder how they will address Gina Davis, and Alec Baldwin, not in the movie because tightly they’re trapped in the house. We’ll see how it goes. All I know is I’m gonna enjoy the movie one or the other.

I feel y'all should react to the the original and (if possible) the animated series. I have the box set, got it off Amazon, and absolutely love that cartoon. I even got my young nephew and niece loving it.

I KNOW I saw the original at some point in my life, but it must have traumatized me, because I have apparently suppressed most of my memory of it! And the few memories I have are fuzzy. I was 10 when it came out, and I would not have been allowed to watch it as a kid, so... 🤷🏻♀️

RUclips flag for Copy right but its oddly at random, Heros would most likely get flagged being more known on the platform.
they mentioned in recent podcast on czechxicans that warner bros like to copyright all of their trailer reactions so reactors dont see penny from them. + normally people dont complain about the edits and didnt notice it before, so they keep doing it. I think its good. + its popular song mostly in the trailer, so its also just copyright overall. Helps them make more reactions by getting more cash for themselves this way

Wait a minute has is he still with us thank God I just looked it up and yes he is still with us the actor Jeffrey Jones, but I also think it’s very touching that it’s He’s the one that passed away which gives everything a melancholy feel to it but it is Beetlejuice, so you never know😉😉🤨🤨🥰
Jones wont (and shouldn't) be in the movie for a very good reason. It'll bum you out to learn why, so look it up if you want. I doubt his character will even be referenced much, if at all.
