The Mad Max movies are one of my favourite cinematic franchises. No one does poetic chaos like George Miller. I have a feeling Furiosa could already be my movie of 2024.
George Miller dealt with a ton of nightmares filming Fury Road "on location" and the movie was almost shut down because of the money and time it was costing. He shut down production only to bring everyone back again to do more once the studio finally gave him more time and money. He was very stressed out by the ordeal, and even though the movie was epic and critically acclaimed, I can see him backing off going back to Africa for everything and having more control over filming his environment in The Volume. He's too old to deal with stupid shit and just wants to make great movies. I trust his vision.
One of the best movie trailers ever. Combination of music, Anna Taylor, music, Chris Hemsworth, music, action sequences, music and visuals is literally as good as you will ever see in a movie trailer. HYPED to see this in IMAX.
Saw Fury Road at a test screening a year before release and the cgi wasn’t finished for a lot of stuff but the car scenes blew everyone away. Also, that was my first Mad Max movie and I saw George Miller walking around without knowing who he was at the time. Can’t believe that was almost 10 years ago.
Having two guys I really respect, that WORKED IN VFX on Fury Road, say this looks VERY similar to FR and the vfx look good then who can argue..? People often just parrot what they hear TERRIBLE reaction channels spew just to get engagement. Have a great weekend guys!
Agree with yall on the visual effects. It doesnt get released for over a year so obviously its not going to be perfect; im just happy we got an update/trailer.
Definitely one of my favorite trailers so far. Chris Hemsworth makeup work makes him almost unrecognizable kinda like how they did Colin Farrell's Penguin makeup work in The Batman. Either way I'm here for it. Awesome reaction fellas and Idk if y'all care or not but there's a trailer for GTA 6 if y'all want to check it out at some point. Happy Holidays fellas
Little proud because this was filmed in Australia, Silverton in Broken Hill which is not that far from where I live which is in a placed called Mildura. Which also Silverton has great Art gallery at it also known for mining area.
Maaan, Mad Max will always hold a special place in my heart after watching it with Adam telling us stuff about it..just recently started looking up trailer reactions for this since it's getting closer to release, and god it looks good.
When I watched the trailer I didn't feel too confident about the 'srtificial' look, but I have watched it another 2 times since then and I like it more and more. It looks so fun, I'm really looking forward to watch Furiosa in cinema! I really like movies with a stylized look to them and seeing that trailer I believe Furiosa will be very fun!
Given the amount of times I've watched Fury Road, this looks like it's carried over the same graphic novel look exactly. Saw the trailer in the theater, and that was the thing that first struck me. Fury Road is a live graphic novel; this is the same.
This looks amazing! My only concern with the visual effects is that a lot of it looks a bit 'clean' and 'smooth' - I hope they go back and grime everything up 😁
Man, I cannot wait. Fury road is the only movie I've seen in IMAX, everything else seemed pointless after that haha. Like it looked so damn good. I will definitely be seeing this in IMAX
(Missed you guys so much!!!) So HYPED for this movie! Road Warrior 🤯 my mind as a kid, and I’ve been a sucker for the dystopia / post-apocalyptic thing ever since, even when it’s been baaaaaaad. Now if I can only get 6.5” highly articulated Mad Max action figures. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
I loved this! It does make me wonder, being a prequel, if Lord Dementus (Hemsworth) becomes Lord Humungus after the events of this film. Not just the physique, but that large revolver he holds up early in the trailer feels like the revolver Lord Humungus keeps in a case in The Road Warrior. Obviously this isn't necessary, but if Dementus ends up disfigured and happens to find a hockey mask in the wasteland, I won't complain.
its crazy ppl complaining about the vfx even tho we know how no one thought it was good till the finishing product also highly recommend that Fury Road book of the production that talks alot about this film when it was supposed to be shot back to back with fury road with Charlize in both films
I think George Miller should definitely win an Oscar for this next year. Also, I love that the used the old Warner Bros & Village Roadshow Pictures logos in this
Everything but the exposition scroll. When it's done that way, I feel like it's just insulting the audience's intelligence. They always say show don't tell . And this isn't even spoken exposition cleverly weaved into the dialogue. It's just slapping you with text
Don't know who said that about the VFX, but this looks great, too. I'm so excited about this! Cool to see Chris Hemsworth in a villain role like in Bad Times at El Royale.
Excited for this! I watched bits and pieces of the OG Mad Max films growing up, but Fury Road was the first one I saw in theaters, and without knowing too much about the franchise I LOVED it! And would love to see you guys react to Fury Road with your unique perspective! WITNESS!
Were y’all not familiar with the original trilogy when Fury Road came out? My hope about the effects is that the studio pushed out a teaser before things could be smoothed out more, my concern is that if the studio feels fine doing that they may also pull a The Thing (2011) and have pushed CGI on the film. 90% of the shots of the trailer doesn’t bother me. What hasn’t sold me yet is that one of the reasons I come to George Miller is that his stories are at their core about our relationship with the environment, especially the affects from climate change on the world and humanity, and I didn’t totally get that here, BUT it’s just a teaser, I’m sure there’ll be another trailer and even if there is not, I trust Miller to be Miller, (I just get concerned that older creators can be more easily pushed around.)
🔥 Lol I'm already watching this reaction again, was really looking forward to it after seeing the trailer drop! Watched this, watched the NR breakdown, watching this again, then going to watch the Fury Road ep on The Deep Dive. An appreciation trifecta! So incredibly STOKED for this. ☠️

EXACTLY. People forget hes pushing 80 something. I don't expect him to go spend 5 months in the desert filming another one of these
pretty sure he brought this production back home to Australia right? That wouldve helped....
Tell yourself all that while you are watching a bad movie
100% ITS GEORGE MILLER. I would watch snow melt if MILLER was directing
Oh man you watch it already? @@hadrian2505

You guys worked in my favorite movie of all time.
The Miller family made a deep but simple story. Incredible and i'm beyond hyped for FURIOSA.
Saw Fury Road at a test screening a year before release and the cgi wasn’t finished for a lot of stuff but the car scenes blew everyone away. You have since watched the first ones, right? :)
Lucky u

" do you have it in you to make it epic ". That's going to be the catchphrase of 2024. Can't wait for this movie.
Lady and Gentlemens, Start your engines
I think it looks really good. Very much looking forward to it. You guys should definitely do a reaction to the other Max films, for sure.

I'm so excited for this. I LOVED Fury Road. This is gonna blow minds.
The Hem Dog looks marvelous! I can't wait to see Furiosa.
OMG! Fury Road in 3D is wild! ❤️
When I watched the trailer I didn't feel too confident about the 'srtificial' look, but I have watched it another 2 times since then and I like it more and more.
It looks so fun, I'm really looking forward to watch Furiosa in cinema!

Me too. I noticed movies shot during COVID have had something off visually, but they have time.
Given the amount of times I've watched Fury Road, this looks like it's carried over the same graphic novel look exactly. Saw the trailer in the theater, and that was the thing that first struck me. Fury Road is a live graphic novel; this is the same.
I've seen those Immortan Joe eyes before screaming "Freeeeeeeeedomm!!!!
This looks amazing! My only concern with the visual effects is that a lot of it looks a bit 'clean' and 'smooth' - I hope they go back and grime everything up 😁
Missed these guys, it's been a minute.
Agustin: WITNESS ME!!!
🤣❤
I watch this while I was in the gym on the treadmill and I got goosebumps
Man, I cannot wait. Fury road is the only movie I've seen in IMAX, everything else seemed pointless after that haha. Like it looked so damn good. I will definitely be seeing this in IMAX
Hell yeah so pumped for the Reforgies, I was hoping yall would do it again
(Missed you guys so much!!!) So HYPED for this movie! Road Warrior 🤯 my mind as a kid, and I’ve been a sucker for the dystopia / post-apocalyptic thing ever since, even when it’s been baaaaaaad. Now if I can only get 6.5” highly articulated Mad Max action figures. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
I hope we get an actual mad max sequel before Miller is finished
I fully support the full 4 movie rewatch. I will 100% watch the complete uncuts of those on patreon.
Shot in 16K and exported in 4K. haha Ultra crispy

I didn't know you had worked on Fury Road: THANK YOU!
Same! I liked that movie and was totally not expecting to back then. Can't wait for this one!
Fury road trailer is up there with that first Punisher trailer that used "One" by Metallica
When they said they work on the first movie, what did they do specifically? Cinematography?
VFX compositing and 3D conversion
the visuals look awesome like in fury road...and I love the music
its crazy ppl complaining about the vfx even tho we know how no one thought it was good till the finishing product also highly recommend that Fury Road book of the production that talks alot about this film when it was supposed to be shot back to back with fury road with Charlize in both films
It will be in 3d in 4dx engagements
Are you all still actively working in VFX for movies? (Not including recently due to the strike of course)
None of us are in the VFX industry anymore but we've all worked on stuff you probably love 😁
Yes, do the entire Mad Max films. I am so looking forward to this film. I love Fury Road and hope to get the Blu-Ray for Christmas. 😀
Witness HER 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I hope we get to see the deterioration of the world!
Can't wait to add another JunkieXL soundtrack to the playlist 🔥🔥
This movie looks sick as hell, people just like complaining. Especially over on Twitter. I can't wait to see this in IMAX
So much hype for this one
Guys since you're watching Ghibli movies, would you be attending latest movie in the theater? Boy and the Haron?
I think George Miller should definitely win an Oscar for this next year. Also, I love that the used the old Warner Bros & Village Roadshow Pictures logos in this
I REALLY don't care about vfx if they serve the history well.
I'm glad George Miller is directing this
What 3D tv do you have I’ve been hunting for one
Hell Yeah to Rewatching,,,at *least* Fury Road if not everrrrything! Pleeeeeease
Great reaction guys
If I may ask, why not react to the trailer of What If season 2?
In George Miller I trust.
Soooo.... where's the Fury Road re-watch for the channel? 🙂 (Not nagging, just really looking forward to it.)
What did you guys do on the movie?
3D conversion, Stereo Compositing, and roto.
Is this Thor 5? :D
I'll be watching this is in theaters already seen the First Mad Max aswell Hyped!!!
❤❤❤love
Watch all the Mad Max stuff please
As a retiree on a fixed income, anytime that you say, "Go buy this movie. Int the most expensive format," you are going to lose my interest.
Doesn't look as good as fury road. But George Miller is so genius that it will be fun regardless. Can't wait.
I can't watch 3-D. Vertigo, unfortunately
I'm in
😁
Guys… this trailer seems to be a joke. In a bad way.. do we really think Furiosa will be good? Cmon.. anyone agree or am I tripping
Another saga, great. No more new ideas or characters anymore? Gasp
So excited for this one - Mad Max Fury Road is amazing - cannot wait for this one, and Anna Taylor- Joy is a great actor
Excited for this! I watched bits and pieces of the OG Mad Max films growing up, but Fury Road was the first one I saw in theaters, and without knowing too much about the franchise I LOVED it! And would love to see you guys react to Fury Road with your unique perspective! WITNESS!
3D dead unless you're watching a movie by James Cameron 💀
Were y’all not familiar with the original trilogy when Fury Road came out?

Is it true that originally George miller was going to make a Furiosa animated series ?
Hopefully this one makes money
This looks fantastic
WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!
Mad Max Fury Road is a Fcking masterpiece!! Greatest action film of all time!
My daughter's mother actually believed that the trailer for the "StarGate" movie was the best trailer that she had ever seen.
It looks good, my only gripe is that all the cars look too clean and shiny.
Looks incredible
MY BOOOOOOYS!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
